They favor the few people who are in the bar I spent $100 and got the slowest service I have ever gotten.after nine only fried food.. nd after posting a review the "respectable owner" says "stay out your business wasn't appreciated in the first place." Good to know🙂thank you kind sir.

Great Bartender very nice and friendly

Small friendly bar, older crowd. Plenty of tv's to watch sports, pool table and slots for indoor entertainment. They have bags and bocce outdoors. I haven't played, but I heard they have summer leagues. Plenty of monthly events. They offer drink and food specials. Not a large food menu: appetizers, sandwiches and pizza. Reasonable prices.

This is the kind of place us old-timers remember going to with our Grandpa, getting to sit at the bar eat a Slim Jim and have a bottle of pop, while Gramps talked with his buddies, who would give you change from the bar to play pinball. Try it...a welcoming place frequented by people from all walks of life.

I had the wings (6) I think it was $4.75 very reasonably priced, but one piece wasn't cooked all the way, & 2 other pieces were a bit too dark on the outside. I also got the shrimp which are $1 each, they were really good!

What can I say about this place..... owners and staff makes the difference in a small family owned business, they treat their patrons as family and it shows, the other amenities provided are definitely the icing on the cake, such as very clean newly remodeled bathrooms, bocce ball with a firepit to enjoy outdoors while drinking. 50% of my visits someone has purchased a round of drinks for the bar due to hitting some remarkable gains from North ave. Tap's gaming.

This place is homey, it's nice. There is a bocce ball league that really brings a crowd on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People are nice and the beer is cold.

Good service, prices, and bar food. Nice area outside. Pretty diverse crowd. Looks kinda dingy but is clean inside. A few gambling machines if that’s your thing. Cash only

Great, friendly neighborhood bar & grill. 7 hours from home, brother & I spent 4 evenings here after spending days with a relative in hospital. All the staff was friendly & fun and all the food we had was great! Friendly patrons & "regulars" too! Burgers, pulled pork, hand made pizza (pre-made, frozen on site...just ask!)...but the rueben was best I've ever had! 😋 [PS: Try the Malort at your own peril,.. 😬] Thanks to Paul at the grill & all the servers, we had a good week & uncle got home safe. 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bartender didn't know what I meant by "double whiskey and ginger ale", told me they had food then told me I can't order off the menu cuz their frier is down, said they have homemade pizza then proceeded to open a frozen pizza in front of me out of obvious factory. I told her I change my mind and want to just leave before she poured my drink, still charged me for the pizza cuz she cut the plastic, which I had to pay with cash because they don't take cards, so had to pay ATM fee on top of the cost of the pizza which i didn't even eat because it wasn't in the oven yet anyways and just wanted to leave. I was still happy to pay it just to get the hell out of there. Shady environment and customers, and in the 10 min I was there still hadn't gotten my water which I asked for prior to anything else

Nice little bar, very mellow and old school. Only a few beers on tap and all American mainstream but I like the fact they have Miller High Life. Never see that anywhere.

Great Neighborhood Bar and Grill. Many locals hang out playing Pool, Bocce Ball and Corn Hole. Belly up and order something from the Grill. Food is delicious and has a variety of specials you will come back for!

Love this place. Great people and they show great appreciation to their customers with food for sport games and an outside fire pit/game area (bag toss or horse shoes) can't think at the moment. Bottom line... This is my go to tavern in Waukegan for a good time. Assuming you don't like dance clubs lol. Great neighborhood bar 💞

Neighborhood friendly the people are very nice I always get their wings cuz they're really good and they're reasonably priced and once or twice I've even sat down and ate him right there because I was so comfortable with the environment a very well controlled safe place

The only hillbilly bar in Waukegan and its amazing, clean and they have outdoor seating with campfire!

Great! The fire pit was keeping the bugs at bay outside so I was able to stop with my dogs in the middle of our walk. They got water; -)

One of the finest dives on the north side of town. Just get a beer because they don't know how to make anything more complicated than a rum and coke.

Good place to wind down after a hard days of work. Atmosphere is chill and the juke box always plays good vibes!
