Great brewery with really friendly staff. Was planning to stay overnight as a Harvest Host member but our AC was not working on a 99 degree day. The server was super understanding when we choose not to stay due to the temps. Enjoyed a really good Irish Red Ale and we should know:-). Will definitely return!

Good beer (quality from lager / stout to IPA’s), great staff and a great venue.

Craft beer to your hearts content. This is one of my favorite craft beers. I love all the flavors offered, my fave is Chilly Water but Irie is good too! Friendly atmosphere with two bars inside, a heated outside tent and an outdoor area that is dog friendly. If you are craving beer, this is the place to go!

It’s really nice inside and bigger then I expected. The beer wasn’t anything special. I tried an IPA, gave it a 3.25 out of 5 stars. I think what bothered me the most was the snobbery I received when asked if they did collabs. I asked if they ever did collabs or would with mikerphone. The bartender made a face! Like who is tighthead brewing that they look down on other nano/micro breweries?!? Won’t be returning it’s not worth the drive from Glenview. I’ll stick to the breweries in my area.

Man night stop and was not disappointed. Great selection of brews and awesome atmosphere. We came in trivia night and it's definitely poppin.

Tighthead is a hidden treasure of beers. They also do food trucks on Thursdays which is a great way to try new foods that pair with there beers. When the weather is nice they have great out door seating and they also have a lot of great live music.

I love coming here and have been coming here for years. I used to come every Wednesday nights for trivia, which was so fun. Since I have moved away from the area, I try to come here when I am visiting my family. The beers are so good! My favorites are the Scarlett Fire, Chilly Water, Boxcar Porter, We be Yammin, and Oktoberfest. Last night, I had the Scarlett Fire and it tastes just how I remembered it to taste. Love the red/amber color!

The perfect event space! We wanted to have our wedding rehearsal dinner at our favorite spot in Mundelein. Mark and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. We had plenty of space and private bathrooms. Everyone had an amazing time!

Beer is good, staff not so much. Unfortunately bartender had a bad day or something. She was totally unfriendly.

The product never disappoints. The staff is amongst the most friendly one can find. Being a familiar face brings warmth with each welcome. The expanded space for live music with a 2nd bar area has been a brilliant addition. Super acts are coming in weekly.

This is a fantastic brewery. Well worth a stop every time I am near by. Service is always top notch and the beer is great. Parking is ample. It is easy to get in and out of. Worth your time to stop.

Our visit was part medical experiment. I didn't drink beer due to headaches and just a yucky feeling ( I believe was from the hops, cuz I can drink mead, a thank you to Groennfell Meadery)Suggested to take over the counter famotidine to block this response. Sampled a "flight." Still prefer the lighter beer taste, so went with the 'Five Eyes.' No headache or yucky feeling. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the company, and the beer. I may just enjoy these outings more!

Had some tasty beers, I suggest the flight cuz you can try the different crafts they have and they have different food trucks that come, which is cool, in this visit it was Stix and Noodles, very tasty and nice atmosphere when sitting outside

Great beers and customer service every time I visit. A couple of my personal favorite are the Chilly Water pale ale and the Five Eyes honey ale.

Very nice local brewery. Lots of great options to try. Really something for everyone, including a cider or two.

Finally got to check this place out after having a few of their beers. Was not let down at all! Great place! Still a few more beers to try!

Travis did a great job taking us through a brewery tour for my friends birthday. I would highly recommend this place to get a beer and for the atmosphere!

Very nice taproom with friendly staff and multiple offerings of craft beer. Nice outdoor area for warm weather enjoyment. BYOF (food) or enjoy a food truck. I and I DIPA recommended.

Tighthead is a gem. Great atmosphere and great drinks. Feels like an honest to goodness watering hole in the often dull surrounding village.

A nice brewery with a great variety of beers on the menu. Open space and outdoor space to experience good brews. Get your own snacks.

A broad selection of beer styles, an excellent set of IPAs, and Boxcar Porter... dry, robust flavors you don't want to miss. Ambience is warm and friendly. Staff is outstanding!!!
