This place is awesome is my first time in here and the place are good the employees are great and the beer are so good I want to try more different beers, Price are good for a brewery you can go from a Kolsch to a Hefeweizen to Ipa to actually a Michelada and more they have a beer for all taste. The pictures are the SRM x2 and Michelada de pepino ( cucumber). Theplace have a tent for drinking outside and the tables have a good space between them so you can drink and have fun and try something new you can't go wrong with any beer cheers.

Really good beer, brewed in small batches by the owner. The variety and quality of beers is outstanding. This tells me the owner, brewmaster really cares.

Excelent quality, delicious tasting beer. Zumbier owner/ Beervangelist Larry Bloom prides himself in being the owner of the first brewery in Waukeegan since 1916. He and his team are dedicated to bring great quality brew as well as fun food pairings to Lake county. This venue is not fancy but charming in it's simplicity. The decor is rustic and the is a nice little patio in the parking lot. The back of the warehouse is available for pricey parties for a nominal fee. There are frequent special beer releases accompanied by food trucks and bands. Thursday night each week hosts trivia in the warehouse, summers outside in the tent and is ever more popular with teams of all sizes participating. Includes table service. Free home made popcorn that is made daily and seasoned with an in house spice blend is served at each table. They call it 'crack corn' as it's pretty addictive. Rachelle, the tap room manager is affable and efficient. She goes out of her way to meet everyone desires with speed and a dashing smile. Let's also not forget about the most important part. The craft beer. Zumbier offers 18 rotating traps with an ever changing menu. Styles range from light German beers as well as a variety of pale ale, new Engler IPA, Session Saisons, Red Ale and barrel aged imperial stouts. There's a little something for every taste preference. If you're from around here or out of town this should be a must visit on your list of breweries.

This little brewery is the real deal. Genuine craft brewing with all the variation you expect from small batch made with a ton of respect and love for the art. The proprietor who was hosting the party today was fantastic and seems genuinely concerned with guest experience as much as the beer (sort of lost in recent years). I was surprise by the quality and taste. The “nitro” system is not true nitro pour but the beer is fantastic regardless. If you can get here - it’s a must visit.

Great people great beer and a really safe and fun environment to hang out in. We tried a couple different items they had on tap which were all great. This is a great little brewery in the Waukegan area that is closing in on their 3 year anniversary and we are happy to support them. Keep up the good work.

When you're driving to ZümBier, don't get thrown off by the fact that it's in the middle of an industrial park. Their beer is phenomenal -- I haven't yet tried one I haven't liked. The staff is super friendly amd helpful. And the live music was just what I needed to wind down after a long, stressful week. If you're in Waukegan and want a solid brew surrounded by je ne sais warehouse 😉, this is the place for you.

Showed up at 5 on a Sunday and looks like it was closed early. Owner was responsive and due to a flood. 5 stars!

I'm not a beer drinker but I met up with my sister/her husband there. They are from out of town and I had a great time. I plan on going there again since they are close to my place.

Awesome little hole in the wall! Great selection of beer and bartender was patient and quite helpful! Theres a few booths to sit at near the bar and a more open area further in for busier nights. Also some board and card games in the corner to keep things interesting while putting down some brews

Always a good time. Whether enjoying the beautiful weather outside or grabbing a beer with friends in the a/c. Continuous rotating selection. Be sure to ask them about trivia night and their monthly bottle share. 🍻

I stopped in and got a six-pack of their IPAs. Really good beer! The owner is very nice and knowledgeable- they brew on-site! Worth a trip to sit and have a beer there!
