BED BUGS and just gross. For the sake of convenience and price, we went for this option, thinking that for one night, it would be fine. We booked a king bed, non-smoking and was given 2 double beds smoking. She told us we were wrong but was quickly corrected upon seeing our confirmation email, as if we would just make that up. I have a body and face full of bed bug bites. Enough said. Now I’ve browsed through other reviews and see that bugs are a common thing. Pretty gross. Would NOT recommend.

Even though there are non smoking rooms, the entire building smells of smoke and old Mexican food. Our room smelled like someone had gone overboard with lemon scented Lysol and we had to leave the window open for awhile. The smoke detector was broken with exposed wires, the lamp wire was loose, the TV had grimy fingerprints all over it and it wouldn't turn on, and we found two roaches in our room. It was when we saw a bedbug on each of our beds that we finally decided to leave at 11pm and find a different hotel.

This place deserves 0 stars. It smelled of smoke and the rooms weren't clean. There were men just hanging around outside. Please do not stay here. This place is unsafe and nasty as hell. This place should be removed from choice hotels and I deserve a refund.

By far the worse place I’ve ever stayed. The smells are awful and the bugs are even worse. I’m pretty sure I got a contact high just walking to my room on the 3rd floor. All the amenities that were promised are not available. There wasn’t even a sufficient lock on the door to the hallway. How is this place not condemned.

Was going for 1 night (wish I had read the reviews first) since we were going to Great America for 2 days I figured get the cheaper room we’re only sleeping there 1 night…. I walked into the room set my purse on the dresser and this is what I found 1. No outlet cover for the light 2. Pulled back the bed spread it was covered in hair 3. Go into bathroom there was a ROACH running around in the tub which was also covered in hair My husband was getting the bags and kids out of the car I quickly called him and told him not to come in the room we were leaving! When I got downstairs the guy wasn’t surprised just asked if I was leaving I told him what was going on he said ok you’ll get a refund within 5 days it was actually on my card in the morning thankfully! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL ITS SOOOOOOOO NASTY

Awful experience. Gave them leeway when we found blood stains on our pillows. Asked for replacements and got them. But when we began settling in, we saw a cockroach run under the fridge, so I decided to move it, and hundreds more came flooding out. Instantly asked for a refund and found another hotel. Don't waste your time or money here.

If I could choose 0 stars, I would. Booked two nights, left after several hours. Hotel is beyond dirty, carpet is stained and sticky, walls have holes in them and years of nicotine stains along with other things on them. Holes in walls, all room furniture was broken, bed sheets were stained and had food remnants in it. Bathroom was missing the fan, literally just a hole where the bathroom fan should be. One room had a city code violation sticker on it. Multiple rooms had nothing in the peep hole, just an open hole in the door. Towels were folded...extremely stained, not sure if they were clean. People yelling all night, the ones we saw looked strung out. One person was passed out in the hallway. The entire building should be condemned. Disgusting hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Terrified! I came for my son's graduation and a cleaning woman who also lives upstairs tried to sell my kid drugs. My husband has been sober 15 years now. Very disappointed.

There is just so much wrong with this hotel. The building is outdated, rooms are missing outlet covers on switches, fan in the bathroom is just a hole in a ceiling. I reserved a non-smoking room and they literally placed me in a room, on a floor with smokers! I might as well have stayed in a room with a smoker. At night time, there were random people shouting in the parking lot. In the hallway, you can hear tv blasting from your neighbors. The check-in lady acted like she hated her job. I ended up checking out a day earlier than planned. So in overall, remember, cheaper does not always mean better. Avoid Rodeway Inn like the plague. 👎

Please, read this and see the pictures. Roaches, Cigarette butt on the floor, mattress was nasty dirty, dirty bathroom... All the room was disgusting... I left 15 minutes after my arrival. This is a disgusting hotel and you can't stay here... How this hotel is open?, how this hotel still operating?. Worst and nasty room I ever walked into... Just see the pictures. Health department need to inspect this hotel...

Worst hotel ever!!! Has crackheads hanging around outside, if you're sitting in your car they will knock on your window, asking for crack! Some rooms smell like mold and have no tv's. Even though you pay for your room they will charge your card again, whenever they want.

Great area with nearby shopping options great view but my family first stay was rough we got a non smoking room that smelled like someone smoked a whole blunt in and left the ash in the trash can. When I spoke with the elder lady in the office she accused me of smoking we got a second room that day was better then the first. Second time rooming here we get no microwave carpet not vacuumed, towels uneven and not much service. It is not clean here there is bed bugs roaches. Also we reserved a king suite and the lady tried to put us in a smaller one that was nothing like the picture.

I need to have my $388 returned to me. I booked a room here for 7 days and had to leave after 7 seconds. The room had roaches crawling around everywhere. Terrible. Please return my money. Don't go here at all, unsafe neighborhood and the terribly roach infested. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!

NEVER STAY HERE! I stayed here with a friend for a Navy Graduation. The pictures shown are not the same place you stay. The walls are disgusting. Room smelt so terrible I had to drench them in ferbreze. There were crack heads & squatters all in the halls. The locks were all broken. Gaps under every door. Super unsafe. They do not offer breakfast. There is no free Wi-Fi. Most of the stuff they say they have on there is a lie. They even tried to scam us out of $700 dollars. Never will stay here again and will be reporting them.

horrible place, the smell of dirty and cigarettes, humidity, disgusting and old furniture, the dirty bathroom looked used, cockroaches on the walls and in the bathtub, smelly sheets, in short, cleaning people don't know anything about that hotel. I really don't recommend that place to anyone. I found it for $45 a night and for that same price I stayed the night before at the Quinta and it was a completely different experience. Also the man who greeted me in the lobby was not friendly at all. Look for another option but don't stop there.

We booked an accessible room, when we checked in the "accessible " room (121) had no bathroom door, no rails in the shower or bathroom as well as 1 of the lights did not work. We called the front desk, they did put us in a different room on the 2nd floor, but it wasn't an accessible room as we had booked. The hotel advertised coffee and free breakfast, neither of which they have.

Where do I start. Checking in was horrible the person at the counter wasn't friendly and had no good information on the area. Not even a smile.....got to the room and noticed window didn't have a screen and the bathroom light fixture was missing. We left.sat afternoon and returned Sunday night only to notice roaches crawling in our room. We took our things down to the car and tried to sleep scared we were going to bring these bugs home. I used to work at a hotel and I think this hotel should be used to train hotel workers on what not to do what not to say and what not to have your rooms look like. This is a slum...I'd never go back for any reason. Hell no!

Room was clean but woke up with bites on my arms and leg. Canceled the rest of my stay. Roaches came out the next day. Pictures are old hotel does not look the way as it is online.

Absolutely unacceptable! Within 5 seconds of walking into our room we found 2 cockroaches. After further inspection, we took a video of the roach to the front desk. All they offered was to cancel our reservation with no refund! So after driving 7 hours with a concert to get ready for we are now left to either lose out on the money we paid for this hotel or sleep with roaches! We asked to at least be moved to a higher floor so that less bugs may be there, but were only offered a smoking room with no refund or discount or anything! This is when things somehow got even worse! Multiple blood stains on the walls and curtains! Hair all over the bathroom floor and floor so sticky it makes noises when you walk. Missing air vent exposing EXTREME amounts of dust falling on us for us to breathe in. Window sill absolutely covered in cigarette debris and dead roaches. I have video and picture evidence of all of this. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! TERRIBLE and DISGUSTING conditions!!!

What can I say. We asked for a non smoking room, found cigarette butts in the blankets and the room smelt putrid of cigarettes. The bathroom was disgusting and the walls have weird marks all over it not to mention the baby cockroaches infesting the bathroom and sink. I couldn't even shower in there even though I stayed for 3 nights. The night audit lady was absolutely useless and rude. There is homeless people roaming around the vehicles making it feel very uneasy to leave anything in your car at night. I could go on but to keep it simple it was the worst stay I have ever been at. You can see how bad it was from all the other reviews.

The expression "you get what you pay for" is the best way to describe this place. Our room had a malfunctioning wall outlet. There were roaches present in the bathroom. I've never in 37 years of life seen a hotel room without a clock. At check in the front desk person was more interested in candy crush than checking us in. After realizing we had no towels in the room I notified the front desk and they said they would bring some... They never made it. However the bed itself was very comfortable. Do with that what you will

Absolutely disgusting! So many issues, if I could give this place a worse review I would. Pillow had holes and tears, blankets and sheets had cigarette holes, ac was disgusting, there were holes in the walls, bathroom area was disgusting no bathroom door, curtains had stains, the lady at the front desk gave us a hard time about getting a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE! I hope this place gets shut down

The place itself deserves a 1 star but why I did a 5 star is because of the staff member Diane, she truly is a sweetheart and made our stay easier and worth it! Would I come back no, the room we stayed in was missing a lot of stuff but if Diane was working the night I’d have to come back and stay I definitely would! That woman deserves a raise!
