I wasn't there

Driving over this bridge over Des Plains river, the water seemed highest I had ever seen on this early June day in 2019. The sheer massiveness of the river was amazing at this point. From the humble upriver creek like flow, it had swollen by the contribution of yet other creeks and massive rains this season. Acres of fields seemed underwater as never before, familiar landmarks on the shoreline submerged. Give it time and it will draw back.

It's okay if you don't touch the water. Pretty sure I saw blinky (3 eyed fish from Simpsons).

Fun place to fish, walk, pets are welcome, built in grills for cook out outdoors

Willow springs has great bike trails. Love Imperial Oak Brewery.

A river? Sometimes floods houses and businesses not very nice when it does that. Perhaps it's trying to give them a hint?

Had a wonderful time with my friend but wish I could have seen more was only there for a short visit.

Ive had better rivers

It is river, you can fish and there are nice parks along it. I haven't yet caught any thing, but other people have. I just haven't found a good spot yet.

Very good area enjoyed hanging out with my sisters no complaints
