This is a nice transit station, so you literally can switch to any line on the Loop to any direction (except for red line). I really like the upper station. However, there’s no restrooms there, but should be at least on that one station. Also the exits for an underground Blue line are narrow, but nothing to do with this…

I've transferred, boarded, passed through, and have been dropped off at Clark/Lake without incident. This station is conveniently located in a spot that is close to many things in downtown. Even the staff at this location has been amazing.

Kind of confusing to get to from the street, station smells bad and there were several homeless people sleeping on the train platform and benches.

It's an okay station. The platforms are big enough to accommodate large rush hour crowds. However, if you need to transfer to a bus, it does take a while to get down. If you're in a wheelchair, the ramp is really really long. It's an okay place.

Clark/Lake is convenient and centrally located. You can easily transfer between the Blue Line subway and the elevated lines (Orange, Pink, Green, Brown, Purple) via escalators and elevators, and can transfer between platforms at the elevated station via a bridge over the tracks. It is a busy station, but was designed to handle the crowds. It's not the prettiest station, but compared to State/Lake next door it is accessible and modern.

Terrible service. Never on time. Never have enough trains during rush hour. Always dirty. Always has homeless folks. Pure chaos

Pass through to take the Blue Line to Ohare. It was stinky & filthy down there!

Clark/Lake isn't merely a transit stop; it's a bustling junction where the rhythm of the city converges. Amidst the hustle and bustle, it's a gateway to endless possibilities and urban adventures in the heart of Chicago.

Elevators and one of the escalators out of order. This is a major transfer station to the blue line to O’hare, so that is a bit of a problem - having to take lots of stairs with a suitcase

Trains regularly just stop in place for several minutes. These people are criminally incompetent!

CTA has to do a better job with all the homeless blocking the ingress egress. Terrible. @Pink Line

Other than they need more security for The CTA Side of the building it's definitely better than most CTA Train Stops.

Transfer between lines is really long, and as it gets later in the evening it's suddenly full of homeless complaining about how they have no money, how the heck did they get inside the station then? Whole place needs a food cleaning too

This was the station I frequently got on the train at. They filmed a lot of movies here, so it's cool to be part of history. And taking the train around the elevated loop is a classic and is always fun. So if you're in Chicago, I recommend doing that as well.

Clark and lake is a big train station on the CTA line. Multiple trains intersect here as well as several buses. There is even a mall attached. The people are friendly enough and occasionally they even can help with directions. Personally I dislike having to ride the red line so I avoid it whenever possible and Clark and lake is a good spot to find above a ground trains that will take you to the same place.
