It's always a pleasure tasting Chef Francisco's food and experiencing his incredible hospitality! The arepas are always packed full of fillings, and the yucas fritas are the perfect appetizer for the table. It's also important to note that the restaurant is GORGEOUS inside. Brightly handpainted walls and fun music. This is the perfect place for a family dinner or a date night. Check out the specials board at the front of the restaurant! Always something fun to try.

I've been meaning to come here since it opened and am embarrassed to say this was my first time. Really pleasant and interesting interior, and I was greeted warmly by the owner as I entered. The menu is nicely valued without being overwhelming. The mask was very good and I plan on coming back with my family. Only slight negatives were the protein portion was a little less than I would have liked, and the rice was so hot out started melting the to-go container and left an unpleasant styrofoam flavor.

arepas was so fresh and delicious, place itself is super pretty, nice chatting, awesome service, and affordable price! We went here for early valentine's day lunch on Sunday. We were the only people since it was an hour before closing. The vibe itself was so comfy and nice. Loved all the colors too!

Amazing homemade Venezuelan food with a homey atmosphere. You can tell the chef puts his heart into his food and is excited to share his culture. The chef is running everything himself, makes it much more appreciated for a great dining out experience. Would definetly recommend.

A colorful gem in Waukesha to expand your taste buds' horizons! Each time I've been to Arapsnita's the food never fails to satisfy. This was my first visit (for p/u) since pandemic and since taking on pesca vega lifestyle... There are plenty menu items to accommodate. Tonight I had Arepa vegetarian and an order of yuca fries. My tummy is so happy! Great value. The owner has done such amazing artful decorating with plenty of color. He is the chef... Artistic with that as well. And he's so very personable. Once you meet him and experience his heartfelt cooking you will return. So break away from the taco train and add some Venezuelan va va voom to your life!

Excellent Venezuelan food! I had the Pabellon Criollo plate. Highly recommend. You need a reservation. Francisco, the owner, makes everything from scratch and on the spot. So, you know you’re getting everything fresh! He’s kind and passionate. Couldn’t ask for better! Thank you, Francisco! We will be back.

Great food! Excellent options for a celiac like myself. Sorry about the photo; I was pretty hungry and remembered only after I started eating to take a pic! So very good!! One minor warning: the refills on the juice are not free, and I was charged for a bottled water when I asked for water. Thus, I ended up spending about $10 on two glasses of juice and a water. That wasn't a pleasant surprise. However, I will definitely go back! The food and fast service were amazing!

A delightful restaurant to find in Waukesha. We love the colorful decor. The owner and chef was spectacular, very welcoming. The food was delicious. It was our first time enjoying Venezuelan food. When we return to Waukesha, we will return to Arepanita's Cafe!! Give them a try!! Dr. B

Ordered for pickup after randomly finding this pace via web search. Food was done on time and the owner (I'm assuming since he was the only one there and manning the kitchen) was very friendly and careful to ensure the order was correct. The portions are very generous for the price and all of the food was absolutely delicious. I've never had arepas or chicharron or fried yucca before and everything was fantastic. My kids enjoyed the black beans and cheese fillings in their arepas, and my wife said the fried plantains were great. Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. Looking forward to another visit soon!

We came for dinner last night on 12/23 and were completely WOW'd by our experience! Our host, Francisco, was simply fantastic. He took the time to explain to us what vegan choices he had and made them absolutely delicious! Everything we had was unique and flavorful.. we definitely will be back!

Placed seemed dirty and run down. Food was overpriced for what it was. My sandwich was ok, but my wife had their special(pork, rice, beans, etc) and it was terrible. It seemed to be extremely old and had been reheated. We will not be back to this establishment.

First time eating here. Our experience was wonderful. Food and personal service by owner, Francisco, were suburb. He takes so much pride in his food & establishment. He's moving downtown Waukesha this year on Clinton St. which will be a perfect fit for his restaurant. We learned a lot about Venezuelan food. Delicious Cuban sandwich, yucca fried strips, fried sweet plantains, and everything else. Reasonably priced Chardonnay Venezuelan wine. Definitely will be returning soon. Never knew how delicious Venezuelan food is. Francisco enhanced the experience with his friendliness and pride displayed in what he does.

Great food, unique environment, and exceptional service. The owner is so kind and makes you feel welcomed. The interior is painted/decorated is such a creative way. I'm really happy that we found this.
