Came in with the after church crowd. The place was hopping. Our waitress Tina was amazing. Food came out fast and my Kitchen Sink omelet was the best tasting eggs I've ever had

Got the chilaquiles for breakfast and it was delicious! Most people get the red sauce for low spice tolerance but we got the green sauce and it was perfect! Not too spicy and tons of flavor!

Very pleased with the service! Miguel was super friendly and worked hard to accommodate our large family. Best Mexican food I've had in Waukesha in years. Well done Miguel, you made my son's birthday a very special one. Cheers!

The food was alright but the service was excellent. I had corned beef hash, eggs and hash browns...hash seemed overcooked. My sil had a breakfast sandwich that was huge. She enjoyed it with the fresh fruit. My bro had a omelet that he said was good. Like I said the service we had was excellent and I will go back to try something different next time.

I saw some pictures of their Thursday special on Facebook. I couldn't resist. While I waited I had a tasty margarita. We were very happy with the Charola de tacos. We mixed and matched different meats and styles. The grilled jalapenos and onions were an excellent addition. We will definitely be back.

I haven't tried the food here so no comment on that. the rating is for the strong stench of urine you can smell right when you enter the restaurant, that slowly fades away as it is masked by the smell of food cooking. there were lots of old people that dine in there. either the old people urinate in those booths, or in their depends. either way its not very appetizing. hard pass.

Very good Mexican food...this day half price everything! Chips and Salsa complimentary both mild and hot salsa very good, crispy chips well seasoned. My husband and I both had the Chicken Enchiladas-very tasty, the dinner comes with the salad, rice and beans. Margaritas were good but not the best I've tasted. The atmosphere could use some help but food really was tasty and service great.

The food was very good in quality, taste and quantity. The takeout service was fast. However the food temperature was only warm, not hot. What was not appreciated was that the website published one price and I was charged a different when the meals were picked up. Also at checkout the cashier added an unposted, undeclared "credit card surcharge fee". I was told I could pay cash and avoid the extra charge.

Went for brunch with a friend. She had breakfast and I had fajitas. We were both pleased with our meals. The pico and guacamole were both fresh and delicious. The service was good. 🥑

Food was ok. Service was not so good. The waitress didn't bring us the chips until we asked for it. Food took what I thought to be longer then it should have since there was only 10 people in there eating and they all had there food. Asked for a to go box and received one that had a hole in it, then it took awhile to get a new one. And the bill had a kids hamburger meal charged on it and it wasn't our item we ordered also didn't have any kids with us.

I had a guajolote and the taste was amazing! The ingredients were all very fresh, and the bread was some of the best I've had. If you like chile chilaquiles and carnitas, this is the sandwich for you.

Breakfast buffet is amazing and well priced. We had stopped there for dinner one Monday and yes the prices are a bit high but the portions and quality of food was perfect. Growing up mole was my favorite and theirs brought back memories of my grandmothers. Very authentic, so remember that going here.

Friendly staff, food was good and fresh. Eggs Benedict was good. Saw they had a big brunch buffet setup, I’d like to try that next time.

This place is serviceable. Our waiter was good. The food came out piping hot. My colleagues had a different opinion. I had the supreme fajita skillet and I couldn't finish it because it was so much food. I'd go back.

Warm and lovely atmosphere. Perfectly sized menu and choices. Great service and seating both times I’ve gone. The food is very WELL DONE! WELL WORTH your money! From the meats, spices, sides and everything down to the tortilla/crust, it doesn’t get any better than this restaurant in Waukesha. If you love Mexican food, YOU HAVE to eat here.

We went for the brunch on Sunday. It was very good. Lots of choices and hot food. Service was great and very friendly. I definitely recommend going for the brunch buffet. But also, their menu offers extensive Mexican and American and breakfast options.

This building has a bad history of failed restaurants. So I truly hope this review can help shift that stigma.... Went for breakfast, ordered chorizo burrito, hit it out of the park. Service was top notch, place was clean and best yet everyone seemed to be smiling and enjoying their job. We will definitely be back to try some more of those delicious Mexican breakfast entrées!

I live close to this restaurant and it is one of my favorite places for breakfast. Reasonably priced so I can eat out more often. The avocado toast with an over medium egg and a side of hash browns is the best.

Authentic Mexican food with great flavor! Wasn't busy at lunch time. Opted for breakfast, which they serve all day, and the food was hot and delicious! Definitely would recommend this place & look forward to coming back for more tasty food!

I have to say it’s pretty shifty of this place first of all to just change their name on google here so they could keep their reviews regardless of the fact that they completely changed their menu and name. The business is called “Zócalo” at the moment but was “The Spot” before. Funny enough, the receipt still says “The Spot” lol! The place could use a remodel it looks like. And as for the decor it’s just some cheap dollar store banners that may have been Hispanic but otherwise nothing else in the restaurant would have told you it was a Mexican restaurant. Food was served quickly and the server was friendly enough but that said, the food isn’t great. The food was just kinda… there. Not very flavorful. Don’t bother with this place, they appear to be just trying to bank on Mexican since it’s kinda popular in the area. There’s a lot better places to go! Don’t waste the time.

Margaritas bigger than your face! Huge menu selection allows for everyone to eat what they want. Friendly and fast staff, excellent service!

We ordered here today and our fruit had a roach on it. I would give zero stars if possible!! Disgusted...someone needs to shut this place down. UPDATE 1/26/22: The health department is aware of the situation with this restaurant! They advised that they are in there biweekly, as they have received similar complaints in the past! We will never be ordering from them again! Gross!!

Great place for breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff, hot fresh food, and good prices. Had a buffet too we will need to try next time. Our party had fruit filled crepes and crunchy French toast and everything was very good. A great neighbor treasure for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Excellent breakfast. They heat up their syrup and serve fresh vegetables. Haven't had such a good breakfast in awhile. Thank you!
