We purchased the spring package when booking our room. In doing so we were supposed to have eggs hidden in our room along with an Easter basket that has bunny ears, arcade tokens, 3d glasses, and a pass to see the spring lights. When checking in the lady said some of the stuff would be in our room and she'd bring the rest up later. Sadly, nothing was in our room. We went down to the waterpark which is a below average waterpark. With them selling day passes and it already being on the small side it's overcrowded. We had to wait 2 hours to even get towels because they were out and had no idea when they'd get more which was very inconvenient. When we arrived back to the room the easter basket was in the room but they didn't have the eggs for the egg hunt. Took me over an hour to get a hold of the front desk who said they weren't aware they hadn't done the eggs and asked if we'd be leaving the room soon to place them. Went to the arcade and one of the games took our tokens but wasn't working. Went to the front desk and she said we'd have to wait however many minutes until the maintenance guy came that she couldn't do anything about it. The spring light walk was decent. That's honestly about the only good thing we can take from this visit. I highly doubt we will return. Was not the experience we were hoping for.
We recently took our granddaughter to the Ingleside Hotel for her birthday and had a great time. From the call to make the reservation and working with Trent, Ryan who checked us in and Mike who checked us out, each of these employees were friendly and welcoming. Even staff that we encountered during our stay greeted us with a smile. Our room was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The water park was busy (which was expected because of Spring Break) but our granddaughter had a great time on the Lazy River and going down the water slides. Again, all employees were friendly and helpful which includes the Arcade area. Thank you Ingleside for having AMAZING employees and a great hotel!
First time here with our 2 year old and 9 month old. We had a great time and the water temperature was very comfortable. Loved that they had a water park and an indoor pool that opened earlier than the park for our early risers. We asked for a pack & play which they brought to us for our infant. The water park has a hot tub and there’s one outside as well. Looks like a rolling door connects the two but wasn’t open. Had to run through the cold to get outside. Brrrrrr but doable! It would be nice if they allowed entry from the inside. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
The room layout is neat very clean and tidy. Breakfast is terrible and you have to pay for it they charge it to your room even if you don't eat it and it's a buffet. 🤢. The water park side of the hotel is very big and has slides and basketball and donuts to float in it's very much a kid's Paradise. There is also a regular pool that's a lot more laid back and quiet to enjoy. Overall it was a great experience I just will remember to skip the breakfast and save the money and go somewhere with better food.
