SUMMARY:
Good
choice
for
extended
stays,
with
necessities
close
by,
and
reasonably
priced.
Not
opulent,
but
cozy
and
very
convenient.
PROS:
Price
is
good.
Nearby
food.
Mini
suites
with
kitchenette.
Clean,
comfortable
rooms.
Free
parking.
Breakfast
available.
Welcoming
hosts.
CONS:
Rooms
can
be
a
bit
small
to
maneuver
in.
It's
right
next
to
a
main
road,
so
you
get
a
bit
of
noise.
DETAILS:
My
usage:
I
have
stayed
there
twice
for
business,
each
time
for
a
stay
of
2-3
weeks.
Basically
went
there
to
sleep
and
freshen
up,
not
as
a
tourist.
They
had
decent
wifi,
and
a
small
desk
in
the
room
for
light
work.
Also
a
TV
with
local
channels.
Location:
Getting
there
is
easy,
because
it's
on
the
main
road.
It's
within
bicycling
distance
of
my
HQ,
and
the
owner
let
me
chain
my
bike
up
downstairs
-
but
the
parking
lot
never
seemed
full.
Add
to
that
Belgium
is
super
pedestrian
friendly.
I
can't
say
much
about
proximity
to
attractions,
but
there
is
a
grocery
store
right
across
the
street
and
a
few
restaurants
within
easy
walking
distance.
Comfort:
Both
times
I
had
the
same
room,
with
two
single
beds
on
the
top
floor.
The
rooms
are
small,
but
well
furnished
with
all
the
furniture
you
need.
The
beds
in
my
room
were
the
smallest
single
I've
ever
seen,
but
it
was
comfortable
and
pleasant.
The
hot
water
was
good,
you
have
you
own
bathroom,
and
you
have
a
small
wardrobe
to
hang
your
clothes
in.
Combined
with
a
kitchenette,
it's
a
very
convenient
place
to
stay
because
you
can
cook,
they
provide
some
basic
dishes,pots,pans,
and
you
have
a
fridge.
There
is
heat,
but
no
air
conditioning.
Opening
the
window
solves
the
heat
problem,
but
it
allows
more
road
noise
into
your
room.
There
was
a
fan
in
my
room,
Other
notes:
It
seems
to
me
that
this
place
mostly
caters
to
longer
term
guests,
which
means
you
don't
have
to
hear
people
banging
around
their
suitcases
every
day.
It
is
an
older
building,
so
some
things
are
outdated,
but
they
take
good
care
of
it.
RECOMMEND?:
Yes
for
most.
If
you
need
a
low-key
place
to
stay
for
a
while,
where
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
being
bothered
by
noisy
tourists,
then
this
is
a
good
choice.
If
you're
looking
for
a
fun
hotel
with
a
pool,
gym,
and
lounge,
then
keep
looking.
This
place
is
a
very
good
'basic'.
It
works
well
for
business
travelers,
possibly
students,
and
folks
who
need
a
'home
base'
from
which
to
launch
their
excursions.
