In an empty restaurant, I waited more than 10 minutes for a server to come over to me. He took my complete order and took a long time to bring me a glass of tea. Then he took a long time to bring my lunch, which wasn't what I ordered. He fixed it, but my lunch was ruined at that point. Then he came back to see if I wanted another tea and I was all but done with my lunch at that point. I used to love Cracker Barrel, but your quality, quantity and choice of things has gone way downhill, along with your service. I spend more time talking to managers about poor service as I do eating. I didn't bother speaking to the manager on this occasion. I just wanted to get the heck out of there. The managers apparently don't listen either because it continues to happen. Extremely dissatisfied with three restaurants I have been known to frequent over a 60 mile radius. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!! YOU'RE RUNNING YOURSELF RIGHT OUT OF BUSINESS!!

All Around Phenomenal Experience! Our Server Was The Nicest, Our Food Was Cooked Perfect, The Huckleberry Tea Was Soooooo Amazing. Can't Wait To Come Back!!!!

First time I ate at Cracker Barrel was in 2011. It was an excellent place to choose on our family trip to eat out for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We love to sit down and enjoy an at home dining experience at Cracker Barrel. Also Cracker Barrel reminds me of the days at camp and eating as a group at the mess hall as they called it at camp or looking at my family reunion photos when my great grandma and other family use to run a mess hall for the forestry workers in the USA. Very friendly, sweet staff and the food was very good. The shop is so cool with lots of neat things, loved it!! Great prices for the portions of food you get!

It's crazy how much the food differs from each cracker barrel, but the waitress was great, the food was good, just not enough help tbh

The biscuits have come out raw the past two times we’ve been here. The server was completely unapologetic about the raw biscuit that ended up our hands. Both times the biscuits were so raw they were still batter on the inside.

I had the roast beef and mashed potatoes and gravy. As far as taste it was good, but it was barely warm enough to eat. Should of sent it back but I ate 3/4 of it before it was to cold to finish. The hostess wouldn't let us set by a window table, said they were reserved??? The waitress took forever to come to our table and almost a half hr for food. Needless to say I won't be back. 1st cracker barrel I've been in that I won't recommend it. The others were great!!!!

We went there for lunch, just 2 of us. I could tell something was off with our server from the start, but we were already there. She took our order.... we waited, and waited, and waited.. noticing everyone around us were getting their food, even those that came in well after we did... 40 MINUTES LATER she comes back and starts apologizing to us she "didn't know how it happened", but our order never got hung up... She offered us free drinks, which was great for them because we both had water. Never once did a Manager come to apologize or even check on us... YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS CRACKER BARREL!! As for the food... DELICIOUS!!!

We had lunch today at Cracker Barrell in Barboursville. We arrived very close to 12 noon to a full house. Our waitress was prompt and very efficient, as well as friendly. I got chicken nuggets, and my wife had breakfast. The food arrived at our table hot. It was not bad. I would recommend them when in the area.

Food tasted wonderful but seemed to set off a belly ache that could just be my digestion trouble. Didn't seem to start until after a tried to eat the last few bites of hubby's country ham, which had a strong "wild" flavor I don't like.

We stopped on a busy Sunday morning and were given a table within 5 minutes. The manager was on point. She was helping seat guests and once the rush slowed, she walked around to check on each table. Very nice Cracker Barrel.

Cracker barrel has really declined in the last several years. The food is still good but the new menu items are lacking and alot of the dishes i used to get no longer are available. Service at this location is good.

My wife and I stopped for dinner on the way home from an appointment in Huntington. They were kind of busy but we got seated right away. Our food came out quick and it was fresh and hot. I had the new Cheesy Bacon Homestyle Fried Chicken and it was delicious.

We had a grouchy toddler. Our waitress was so kind and brought him 2 biscuits while we waited for the meals. It was a simple thing but it meant a lot to us! We are also more confident to ask those sorts of helps from others because she was so kind the first time we ever did. Very thankful for that! Food was hot and delicious as always at Cracker Barrel

Haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in a while. A few things have changed including the menus and of course, the prices. Overall, it was a good experience and a great brunch. We enjoyed spending some time on the front "porch" rocking in the chairs and playing checkers. It was a great break during a somewhat stressful day.

I pretty much gave up on cracker barrel a few years ago. Food not cooked properly, service was not good at all. This time my wife and mother-in-law wanted to go so I said u will give them a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was very courteous and professional and very prompt. The food was cooked to perfection and once again this was a truly wonderful dining experience. This is why they got 5 stars from me and I will be frequently visiting there once again. *****

If you want that down-home country feel and you want that down-home country meal this is the place you want to be... The food here is delicious and the setting is very country with an oil lamp right on your table to enjoy your meal by... The service was good and the price is reasonable so come on down if you got that hillbilly feel and enjoy a nice warm country meal.

This place stay busy, despite being really busy we still got great service, excellent food. Our waitress was all around fabulous, she kept my drink full and plates cleared off the table. I wish I could remember her name, she she deserves a 5star!!

We love Cracker Barrel. It's cooking that wraps you in memories of home. We were surprised, and disappointed, to find that they sell alcohol now. I hope this addition doesn't ruin the atmosphere. They sell hamburgers here, but maybe not enough to get a good price on beef. My husband had a hamburger, served with a piddly bit of fries, that cost 50 cents More that my large chicken and dumplings with 3 sides. Everything tasted great.

Always a great experience when I come here to eat! Service is great, friendly, courteous, and the food never fails to satisfy! I don't have many chances to come here, but whenever Im in this area, I make sure to stop in. It's as close to home as you can get without being at home! Fantastic restaurants, no matter where I am!

I've been cracker barrel before a few times and the food wasn't that bad. This simply wasn't the case at this one:. I got a sampler that consisted of meatloaf chicken and dumplings and a country fried ham,. My sides were mashed potatoes green beans, if there was a third one I don't remember what it was. Let me just tell you the meatloaf was so bland as to be on par with hospital food The glaze was so sweet it was the only flavor for part of the meatloaf. The chicken and dumplings I can't complain about it was decent. The country fried ham had a foul odor of something rotting. And it was so salty that you might want to sit it out in your field for the deer to have a salt lick but I will say that it was a high blood pressure headache waiting to happen if you ate it. The mashed potatoes were again so bland that it was on par with hospital food. The gravy that came with it was only good because it had so much salt that that's really all that you require out of a good gravy. Our waitress was efficient but really didn't have any personality I mean she did her job but that's about all she did.

Food was great, as usual. Had a good waitress. The young lady who delivered the food to the table - in place of our server (was completely clueless). We also encountered an assistant manager that lacked the necessary skills for her position. Overall, our service today was very much out of the ordinary and highly disappointing. Now, We will give them a "time out" - as it will take some time before we consider a return visit.

This staff was amazing with us. Accomodations were made for our infant, awesome with our kids and us. Highly recommend if your in the area this is the best experience all around. Everything we ordered tasted perfect

Usually would give a 5 star. This time the bacon, which I think is the best anywhere, was so hard it was not tasty at all. Didn't send back because we know everyone is trying their best. Cook should have realized it was to far gone...Next time we will ask for more... Still love the "CB"

All the food tasted like it was from a low rate "save a lot" pick 5 for 5 kinda joint. Couldn't believe how bad EVERYTHING was. Never again.....apparently they gave up on the home kitchen quality thing. Staff was nice...so no issues there though.

The food tasted good the lady seating us was nice. The waiter asked how i wanted my hash browns and brought the opposite of what i asked for. Never gave my husband a refill on our coffee or asked if we wanted anymore to drink. We was never checked on the whole time except to give us the check and their was plenty of staff olin the kitchen and waitresses and it wasn't busy. They sat us down next to 2 extremely dirty tables and they never got cleaned the whole 45 minutes or more we was there so we had a lovely view. Other than that food tasted great.

This place wasn't crowded. Staff is really great. My husband ordered the new strawberry pancake breakfast. It is really a great addition to their menu. I had the kids chicken tenders and green beans. No bread. Good iced tea.

Food was great, macaroni had a couple of burnt pieces in it but still tasted amazing.
