Giving this restaurant a single star! I’m here visiting my family from Alabama and I LOVE sushi!! Not here! Never here! First of all my water tasted funny.. MY WATER TASTED FUNNY! Second, we waited about ten minutes for the waitress to take our order, she walked past us multiple times until I closed my menu. I then ordered miso soup and gyoza.. In my miso.. I was looking for mushrooms (wasn’t sure if it even had any) and at the bottom was a piece of paper that looked like a straw wrapper (as seen in picture) IM NOT KIDDING THAT CAME OUT OF MY SOUP, our drinks came out with straws so we didn’t even have straw wrappers!! Gyoza tasted like frozen dumplings and the plate it came on was filthy and covered in soy sauce and the lettuce on the plate was turning brown!! When the food came out I was thinking what the glob was I looking at.. my mom had literal fish tank plants stuck to her plate with wasabi! And her sushi had little to no caviar on it (Naruto roll). My sushi was fried but soggy.. I don’t even want to know how that’s possible. And I’m PRETTY SURE my tuna was CANNED! It tasted like it was, that or it was old I don’t know (Godzilla roll). So yeah! 10/10 DO NOT recommend!!

Oh my Goodness! It was the best Sushi experience ever! 🤩 Extraordinary pleasant design with attention to details starting from interior with tasteful artwork, bubbly wall, illumination, designer lights… Leather menu with glossy well made pictures. Great service. Polite, attentive, quick. Very delicious cocktails 🍹 Freshest sushi 🍱 High-end presentation. Chef even made a cutest baby tomato bunny for me 🥰 I meant to do some work while waiting, but atmosphere was so pleasant that I closed my laptop and enjoyed every moment of Mizu experience ☺️ And prices. Did I mention prices? Very, VERY reasonable. It is love from first visit ❤️. I am a very loyal guest now and will be visiting over and over again. Thank you 🙏

Stopped here on the way home from a road trip. The place was packed, even on a Monday night. Food was fresh and delicious! I ordered the sashimi appetizer, as well as a couple maki and sweet shrimp nigiri. Will definitely be back!

Food is great, been a patron here for many years, even before they moved across the street. I've gotten the same thing every single time & nothing had ever changed. I decided to just order the vegetables on the side last time, which I have done in the past, & it was always a specific blend of veggies. This time around, there were bell peppers in it. I have a mild pepper allergy, so I ran back inside & asked for a new one. No problem, apologies to the cooks for having to remake it. The issue lies in how I was spoken to about the matter. "Just so you know, we always put peppers in it, so ask for it without next time." I would have been fine with that response if the tone hadn't been rude & condescending, as if I should have known about an ingredient I've never run into in the past. The employee turned & walked away before I could even reply. I will be going to a different location or business altogether now because I believe that could have been handled much more politely. Mizu, try to be a bit nicer to your customers.

Don't let the 4 star rating fool you, this place is amazing. The decor resembles something out of a trendy New York City nightclub. From bubbling walls to neon highlights scattered around, plus cozy leather circular booths, combined with a gorgeous bar give a trendy vibe. It is evident that the food here is fresh and made to please the palate. Their prices are competitive especially whenever you consider the high quality and standards the restaurant maintains. I was delighted to see the entire staff moving nearly every fixture within the facility to clean. It is one of the few restaurants I wouldn't even hesitate to eat at because of the cleanliness factor alone. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because it is a temporary rating. The overall experience was so pleasant I will definitely go back again. We were placed in a side room that felt rather cut off from the rest of the restaurant and didn't have the same club like flow that everywhere else had. Also the BBQ squid was slightly overcooked. Those two grievances are not enough to make me want to go elsewhere. If you have not tried their food I highly encourage it.

I love this place! The food is excellent and service is usually pretty good. The wait time during peak hours and days is pretty long. So, I tend to go opposite of peak times. The waiting area is quite small. Just another reason to go at off times. It's just that good!

I come here all the time, and I absolutely love it. Favorite sushi place in Warren! Service is always friendly, if a little slow. Food is always absolutely perfect, fresh, delicious, and looks amazing. I love that they have their contact info on the chopstick wrappers and napkins, makes it feel so much more professional and detail oriented than other places I've been to.

Top notch japanese sushi restaurant in the Niles Eastwood Mall area. Hibachi available in the back, so no show. Food is excellent and they have an extensive variety of sushi rolls. Also a good selection of beer and saki. I go back there frequently.

All the Noms!!! Cherry blossom and Youngstown rolls are my fave!! But I haven't had a bad roll yet. Their hibachi isn't my favorite, but its not awful either. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is great! Presentation is great!

Absolutely top notch craftsmanship when it comes to the sushi making. The sauce just creams over everything and gets better with every bite. The rice is universally loved amongst all. The sauce the meat is put in makes my stomach quiver as if something from the heavens has entered. 20/20 zoinks

Restaurant was clean and food came out quick. The server was not okay and I didn't like my food at all. Crunchy calamari, soup swimming in dressing. Location is less than desirable. I wouldn't recommend but my partner loves it.

*8/15/22 EDIT* Quality has unfortunately declined and haven't been back since myself and two others got sick after eating here. Upset stomach for me, maybe from the lukewarm food I was served or the sushi. Won't go to this one anymore, would rather drive to the Boardman location. PREVIOUS REVIEW Excellent sushi and hibachi! The sushi is the best in town!

The best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to, hands down. I say this not because the food is a-m-a-z-i-n-g (though it was pretty darn good) but because this is what a quality restaurant, I believe, should be. You can tell Mizu really cares about their presentation from the appearance of the restaurant to the tiny flowers plated with every sushi orders. I ordered for my party of 3 the spider roll (~$10) and the moonlight roll (~$12) along with a hibachi dinner consisting of salmon, scallop, shrimp, vegetable, fried rice, miso soup, and a bomb ginger salad all for ~$19. It all came out to be around $44 with tax. At the end, we agreed that just one order of sushi and the hibachi dinner would’ve been enough for all of us. The quantity and quality for that price is unbeatable (we had leftovers)! We live in Oklahoma but we are sure to visit Mizu Sushi every time we come down to Niles. Don’t forget to ask for the yum-yum sauce with your fried rice, it’s a must!

This is by far the best Japanese restaurant in our area. The food is top quality. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have a big appetite try their Nabayaki Udon soup. The portion is huge and the best I’ve had.

Delicious food and great prices. Hostess who sat us was friendly and the wait time was not even 5 minutes even with the restaurant being very busy. The only reason for atmosphere being low is some of the tables in the room we were sat in are very close to the others so we ended up not being able to hear each other very well and it wasn't very comfortable having the person's chair behind us keep hitting my husband's. Otherwise it was a great experience. Our server was very friendly and quick, and food came out hot and well made. Our sushi was fresh and delicious.

We popped into Mizu for some sushi and wow it was delicious. We got the Firework, New York, and another speciality roll. It was so yummy !! We also had a coconut shrimp for an appetizer and that was amazing as well ! If you’re in town and looking for some good sushi and good service then this is the place for that.

The sushi is always amazing here. I recommend the keystone roll. We always went to get there an hour before closing and they always mop their floors when we are there and they are so slippery. No, we are not the only ones left, plenty of other people are there too. I literally had to have an escort of 2 people hold onto me to walk me back to my seat so I wouldn't fall. It's a little ridiculous. Can you just wait until people leave?

I've never had sushi with so little rice on it. Microscopic amounts of salmon on my Philly roll. Pieces on the end of the roll were sloppily made/cut. The staff was very courteous and offered to replace my meal. Still, would not return.

It was really busy, a little wait but sat at the bar, great service, good sushi, and love the ginger. Prices are not too bad.

We were craving sushi and rolls from Mizu last weekend but didn't feel comfortable eating inside, which was packed. So we took everything to a nearby Niles park and had one of the best picnics ever!

I frequently visit Mizu. I’d say once every week or two. I have for many years, even since before they built this new location when their old building was only take out. I am a huge fan of their lunch specials! They offer the best value by far. I have never once been disappointed in either their sushi or their dinner entrees. The atmosphere is great. Their selection of sushi is incredible and always very fresh. Their service is always very prompt and friendly but on top of that I’ve never once had my order messed up. It’s always spot on. They’ve definitely earned this 5-star.
