Pretty good food, horrible parking lot. The Nashville taco ($5.25 - hot chicken) was really good. The Del Rio ($5.95 - brisket) was a little disappointing – the meat was a bit dry and chewy, making it hard to eat. I also ordered chips and salsa ($4.25) because it looked similar to Chevy’s smoky grilled salsa – my favorite. It wasn’t bad but didn’t have much flavor. Definitely not worth $4.25, especially since they give you plenty of chips but only a tiny bowl of salsa (see my before and after photos). It seems like they should offer free refills of chips and salsa. They have both still and sparkling self-serve water, and you can order three ways: counter, table service, or QR code. I opted to order and pay via QR code and it was easy and convenient. The parking situation is a nightmare. Turning in off Manchester, you make an immediate right to a row of about 4 spaces, all of which are always filled. Then you pull around behind the restaurant and see the row of curbside only spaces before either exiting to Manchester or doing another loop. I understand that they’re doing the best they can with the limited space, but it’s not clear what the intended parking situation is, as there’s plenty of seating inside but inadequate parking that I’ve seen back up into Manchester Rd. Overall, it was about $20 for a lunch of two tacos, chips, salsa, and water. For that price, I’d rather go to Rosalita’s (where their salsa is amazing, unlimited, and free). But skipping the chips and salsa next time, I’m sure I’ll be back, but only during non-peak hours.

We finally had a chance to eat here after waiting for months for it to open. Atmosphere- the place is well done and they have very nice patio seating that looks like it may be used year round. Despite being on Manchester, they did an awesome job with blocking out the noise and making the space feel high end. The vibe inside is very nice as well. Food-the food was phenomenal. From the chips and salsa to the tacos, everything was very flavorful. If you are looking for the right portion, usually 2 tacos will do it, 3 if you are extra hungry. Service-everything is ordered online and can be highly customized. You pay for your check on the app and leave. Your interaction with the wait staff is minimal. The jury was still out for me on this. Every time you wanted something else, you had to pull out your phone and order. Maybe I just need to get used to it. Quirks-there were a few quirks but definitely not deal breakers. We had three people at the table and all of us ordered two tacos. The tacos came out in groups of two, but no one’s came out together that went to the right person. There ended up being a lot of passing around so everyone had their correct food. In the future, they should bring these out individually or find a way to figure out how to group them appropriately. Also, the choices for the kid options were minimal. Unless I missed it, the only choice I saw was a kids cheese quesadilla. If they don’t like that, I hope your kids are adventurous eaters. I will definitely be back. This place and the food are a nice, and welcome, addition to Kirkwood.

Indoor and outdoor seating in a nice, clean environment. We tried several of the tacos which were all good. Ordering is different. Either order up at the counter or scan the QR code and order and pay from your phone. Parking was somewhat of an issue but not too bad.

Excellent patio seating that makes sitting next to Manchester actually pleasant! Tacos are larger than expected and delicious flavors.

The restaurant is cute. The tacos are pretty good. They have some similar flavors to mission taco that personally I think mission does better. But they are good. The to go process is weird. They told me they only take two to-go orders every 15 minutes but I could order and sit at a table and they would bring me out my food and then I could request them to be boxed up. Like what?? It was just strange. But I did that.

Arrived at Taco Buddha on Saturday and this was our first experience there. The atmosphere was busy but colorful and welcoming. After a brief wait we asked for a table for two. We waited for a table for 15 minutes and finally were seated. After waiting another 15 minutes we asked a waitress to see the menus and for water. She said "You want to see paper menus?" I thought we had asked for root canal. It was at this time we were informed about the ordering process, the number stand at our table, the QR code menu, etc. While we both can appreciate the tech system, if you are not informed about the ordering process when you enter, it makes for a very frustrating experience. We tried to order after the explanation, but did not have any luck with the process going through. We spent 40 minutes with no food being ordered or hospitality being shown. We left and went to another Kirkwood Mexican restaurant. Again, liked the restaurant, but I think it is very important the process for ordering food is explained when you enter the facility.

First time to dine at a Taco Buddha and it did not disappoint. I dined with coworkers and had to try a little of everything. The planted pots looked amazing on the patio and the decor inside and out was hip and new. Margarita's weren't bad either! The staff was very attentive of our needs which is always a winner in my book! Will be back again!

Taco Buddha exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is the food spectacular, but the service was just as amazing! Such a family, friendly atmosphere. Marco was incredibly accommodating without us even asking. He got an extra chair for my leg, as I am in a full leg brace. He then even rearranged a table to ensure others didn’t bump into my leg. Zoey was so kind and helpful with our 3 kiddos!

Stopped here on a whim while stuck in traffic on Manchester and I'm excited for this find! Easy in and out right off Manchester with ample parking. The environment is colorful and full of positive energy. I sat on the gorgeous outdoor deck. There was table side service for water, serving, and clearing. Orders are placed either through a QR code and delivered to your table or at the bar. I think the management style allows for a smoother dining experience with extremely attentive staff. I ordered the guacamole appetizer that is supposedly made fresh and served with fresh homemade chips. It was pretty basic but tasty. Tacos are served à la cart. They recommend two for a full meal. The menu is full of unique choices with vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten free options throughout. I got the Galveston with New Mexico spiced cauliflower. The Baja sauce was full of spice while remaining palatable. The corn salsa and social sauce perfectly complimented this unique taco. I also got a Jodhpur with tandoori style grilled chicken marinated in yogurt, lemon, and masala. I haven't eaten chicken in about a year but this menu choice called to me and it was worth the exception. Finally, it won't be Mexican without a margarita. They described the frozen Margarita as "famous" so I figured I have a duty to try. It is still frozen up until the moment it is served so it isn't your average watered down frozen Margarita. It was extremely flavorful. Not unique, but decidedly delicious. I'm excited to share this fantastic find and can't wait to return!

My family had a great time here! The tacos were great, with a wide variety of flavors. The chips and salsa, as well as the beans were good and generously portioned. I tried the Baja fish, Cholula (Chicken Tinga), and Thai tacos and the standout for sure was the Cholula. The fish was good, although missing something. The Thai was also good, particularly the braised beef. The place was clean and cute, and the staff was very attentive and friendly, and easily accommodated my baby. The ordering experience is surprisingly flexible as well: you can order at the counter or with your waitress, but we opted to scan a QR code at our table that brings up an online ordering system. It had our table number filled out already, we picked out the items we wanted, and then could easily pay whenever we were ready to leave. We'll be coming back to try more tacos! 🌮

Interesting take on modern day tacos. The atmosphere is very laid back. Upscale style food without the upscale price. First time there, I will be back. Very Good Experience
