Loved eating here! My two visits were superb, the staff was professional and friendly. I got the lunch special for both visits, and to my surprise I enjoyed my salad more than the pizza!! (No disrespect to the pizza, it was also delicious.) It was so good I had to order another salad after I finished my meal. Amazing salad dressing, fresh lettuce and the croutons are to die for. Definitely give this place a try!!

Happy place, looks like it is very popular among locals. Was confused first because it looks like a dump from outside. Had my first St Louis style pizza and it was the best so far. Lots of gooey cheese, some tomatoes, tasty thin crust. All food came pretty fast, waiters are friendly.

This was my 1st time trying their pizza. A friend raved about how good it was so maybe it was a bad day but I ordered 3 pizzas & none of them were edible...almost $70 wasted. The pizza's were dry, flavorless & they had a strange taste to them but worse of all they were burnt! And even when you tried to scape the bottom, it still tasted burnt. I was disappointed...I usually try to give a place a 2nd chance but I doubt if I will be going back

For our first time we were greeted by a proud 4th generation Failoni, seated at a table on the beautiful and spacious back patio with a local performer singin Italian tunes and all!!! As a Google Guide, local community member I'm ashamed after living here for 9 yrs we've never been until now! We have discovered a new favorite and the kids are already asking if we can have their graduation dinner there. The customer service is top notch and the food was even better! I recommend you go and also experience the full Failoni experience.

Failoni’s is so darned good but after 107years, they’ve had time to figure it out. Great family run restaurant that knows how to treat people just as good as they know how to cook. The crust is made on site, thin but not cracker thin and a nice chew to it; holding up well with a full load of toppings with a nice crunch. Sauce is classic pizza sauce, not too sweet. Cheese is provel with mozzarella as an option, I opted for provel. The meats all come from local businesses in their neighborhood on the “The Hill” Fresh toppings, expertly cooked to perfection, Failoni’s is a gem among gems in the most delicious neighborhood of St. Louis. A true family business mom at over 80yrs is still working the kitchen and her son Victor is kind and pleasant to chat with. Shop and Support your local families. ❤️🍕💯

What do you say about a family owned restaurant and bar that has been in the same family for over 100 years? A bar that has Tom Kelly singing most weekends. A restaurant with some of the best pizza in St. Louis. What can you say? Go! Go as soon as you can. Parking is street only but we’ve never had a problem. The Spinocci appetizer of artichoke dip stuffed into a wonton, fried to perfection and served with hot pepper jelly! It is so unbelievably delicious! The chicken salad and Greek salad are perfect lunch fare. Great prices. Absolutely incredible service! Amazing food! It’s no wonder this place is still going strong after 100 years! Highly recommended!

Huge shoutout to our busser/food runner/jack of all trades Phil Ehrnman! Couldn’t stop laughing all night thanks to Phil. Came here on a Thursday at 8pm and let me be the one to tell you… amazing atmosphere, service, food, and drinks! The beers are cold, the music is loud, and the rhythm is alive!

First time we went here. We pulled up, and it looks like a old building in a industrial park. You step inside and you instantly know: you have stepped into a slice of The Hill. It's a bar, with absolute killer food. It's nothing over the top, just some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten in STL, let alone my life. Chicken Parm with white noodles. On point. Lemon Chicken my wife got. On point. The sweet salad? On Point! Please go here and give it a shot. We have made plans already to go back and bring our friends. Supposedly there is live music there also, want to check it out!

The reason I gave them a 4 is because the welcoming wasn't so welcoming.. people was staring at us like why is we here the guy I guess own the restaurant was cool he spoke told us we can sit anywhere.. we order lemonade to drink they was hot I thought they had a sodas machine but that was my fault for not asking.. when I got my first cup it was some black stuff floating in our drink the waitress switched it out . My guy was feeling uncomfortable because we was the only ppl of our ethnic group that was in there eating but I told him it was cooks in the back our race so he was cool.. but really got me was the older lady she spoke to the guess across from us ask them is everything good and look dead at us and walked away.. I feel like if u open a restaurant u should make everyone feel comfortable not make it so noticable that u don't want us in there... Besides that the food was fresh and hot we got the sausage special I think I would order there again but not dine in..

If you want to catch the game or not, visit this place. Everyone, including the regulars, were great people during my visit!!! I got the meat lovers pizza and buffalo wings. If you’re eating there or taking food to go, you’re going to enjoy it!!! Also, they’ve got a fantastic patio!!! I’ll definitely be coming here again!!!

My new favorite place!!! We had garlic cheese bread, sausage/pepperoni pizza and our kid had red pasta. We all agreed we are coming back. It’s an hour drive from us but we frequent Forest Park for our many weekend walks and this place is now our new go to! Everyone was kind and amazing atmosphere feeling perfect for families and gatherings for crowds. Ah can’t wait to come back.

I can’t recommend this place enough, from pizza to wings to wontons! The beer is cold and the pizza is to die for. It’s all handmade authentic, and they have a specialty pizza for everyone. The Margharetti is my favorite!

Such a great family owned and ran place. Staff is so friendly, and so are the patrons. Ed and Max at the bar are the best! Mimi and Joe were so welcoming and fun to chat with. I love my new friends! I got the spinocci and you have to try them!

The sausage pizza with provel cheese was very good. A dinner companion got the chicken modiga which she enjoyed very much. Full bar available. Pasta, sandwiches, salads , entrees and appetizers. Restaurant has been open over 100 years. Great friendly service

A locals meeting place with friendly service, live music on weekends and outdoor seating. Great for smaller private parties. Food is the best bar food italian style with nightly specials.

I read the wrong name when they asked me that series of questions but to set the record straight this place is a favorite of mine. The pizza is good but the salads are fantastic. You cannot beat the prices. The service is spot on. Yes, bring your dogs! You can't go wrong here.

Visiting from out of town and tried a local place for pizza. We got it to go since we had tired kids after spending a day at the St. Lois Zoo. The kids wanted cheese and we tried the chicken delight. Both were magnificent and delicious! Great job. The crust was crisp with a crunch but not hard, just right. The toppings on the chicken delight were a perfect amount. Not too much that it falls apart from the weight. Enough so you get a taste of all the flavors in every slice. Going to be recommending this to anyone we know that is coming to St. Lois.

Great casual bar/restaurant in a historic building. Wonderful, friendly servers. Delicious pizza with high-quality toppings, wonderful Mayfair dressing on the house salad. Generous portions at a fair price. Worth a special trip!

Mostly very impressed with this place. Small town 80s bar vibes with exquisite food. The pizza, cheesebread, chicken parm, and white pasta were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely DON'T get the canneloni bites - 8 tiny pieces for $11 🙄 Other than that, we liked it and will be back!

Our band just played here and I got to say it was a fantastic time! The crowd is Lively the staff is excellent I can't wait to go back and eat there because everything smelled so good all night. Everybody's really nice and I think everybody has fun here all the time. It's a great place!

Very CROWDED!! Luckily I had made reservations! Pizza was delicious, however crust was a little overcooked and hard in certain areas. (It was a gluten free pizza, and that seems to happen everywhere. ) Ron was singing and was terrific! A great place to go with friends!

First time visiting although I had their pizza one other time and it was excellent unfortunately this time was not the case. House salad was very good could of used a bit more of the creamy Italian dressing but, I didn't bother to ask for any additional. The toasted cannelloni appetizer were decent but nothing special and the pizza just wasn't up to expectations hardly any detectable sauce and the sausage toppings were the bare minimum. Service wasn't all so great as well our food came all over the place and my girlfriends Chicken Caesar never showed up? After we tracked down the server numerous times she finally brought a small house salad but, of course not what she had ordered! I really like supporting local businesses although when you notice substantial decline in the product from your first experience to your next it makes it very tough to risk your hard earned dollars on inconsistency!

We were celebrating our friends birthday and we were seated outside under the tents. They provided plenty of fans but it was a definitely a hot night. Our servers were very supportive and constantly provided us ice water refills and the food was excellent. There was a live band and the atmosphere was great.

We split an order of the cannelloni bites and a 14-in sausage specialty pizza. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. What stood out the most to us was the service. The service was amazing! The best service we have had in a very, very, very long time. They also had live music tonight, which was pretty cool. We will definitely be back!
