I have gone to Barnes and Noble for years, always finding the one book I wanted -and then three more I hadn’t known I wanted. I have to leave my debit card at home when I come here or else I would drain my account. the employees are always friendly and knowledgeable and the place is calming and helps me relax. if I could, I'd spend all day here.

This is one of the nicest Barnes and Noble locations I have ever been to. They have a large children's books section, but the store itself is sort of small for Barnes and Noble and their selection is more limited. They have big sections of the store dedicated to merch which would be better served as additional book inventory. Everyone here is helpful and polite. There is a cafe which I have not visited.

Obviously, it's a great place for books! They could do a better job of putting prices on their books.

Always amazed with the wide selection of books found in this store. Books are well placed organized organically and well plentiful. I could spend hours there, my favorite book place.

Yesterday when I was in the store I was unable to find the books I was looking for on my own, but the two employees at the customer counter were both very helpful and found the books I wanted. They practically did the shopping for me and also gave some good suggestions along the way. Online shopping is great but good customer service always wins and keeps me coming back. Thank you!

This is the best Barnes & Noble around St. Louis. I love to go and browse around in here. I do wish their language-learning section was a little bigger and carried a wider range of languages. One standout of this B&N are the local books about St. Louis and Missouri, including some great coffee-table books. I’ll definitely be back to visit in the near future.

Lots of variety compared to other Barnes & Nobles I've been to.

Barnes and Noble is my all time favorite place to go, especially in the colder months. They are very welcoming, and the atmosphere is calming and comfortable. I have not ever had a bad experience. Except for the occasional novel being out of stock, usually on most popular and newely released editions, they have every story I go inside looking for.

The customer service was excellent. We picked up a book that had been on back order. Received an email that it was being held at the front desk. The clerk was very kind and personable.

Great experience, purchased a book then sat in the Starbucks inside the store with a hot coffee sat in a comfy chair read a little of the book while waiting for rain to stop. Employees were very knowledgeable.

Nice to still be able to walk around a brick and mortar bookstore... staff could maybe learn to say hello, but it's all good

I've been going to this B&N since 1997 when I was in college. It is lovely. The staff is nice and the Children's section is welcoming.

The store was very well stocked. Parking was no problem. I'm handicapped ♿️. There were plenty of places to park. Unfortunately, for me, The Washington Post magazines no longer are in distribution. PLEASE I 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 ask you to PRAY with me for ALL the people who are being laid off. The new owners have dissolved the magazine. NO MAGAZINE NO LABOR. I Thank you. I truly believe they will too.

Love B&N but all their big, comfortable chairs are gone. Only the coffee shop has slight-cushioned armless chairs. So, minus one star for no reading chairs.

One of my top two B&N St. Louis locations. This bookstore is probably the oldest in the area and has a cozy feel. The staff are friendly - including the cafe staff. The cafe is a good place to sit and work if you are good with background noise.

Love this older Barnes and Noble. Convenient location right off of 170. I just wish they had one closer to the city.

There was this one person at the cashier in particular who I remember being very friendly (although all the staff there are awesome) I just hang around so I can look at Harry Potter books and look at their recommendations for nonfiction and they have many great books

Generally nice and quiet place to read or study. The little Starbucks Cafe is cute and has a few good treats

This is a great store. I take Mt daughter to many of their different locations and she loves looking and buying new books as often as possible. As a mom it's kind of hard to argue with a kid who truly WANTs to read. So I give in and let her get new books all the time. They have such a wide variety of different topics and interests. There's something for everyone. I guess I'm a bit odd but I love stationary and things along those lines and I'm constantly checking out the notebooks or card sets and different things like gel pens or markers as well as pen sets or pen and pencil sets. I love all that stuff lol. They have a good variety of planners as well. They have always been more than helpful and always very nice and respectful. I would rate this one much higher but the 1 downfall is that this location is a bit farther from my place than some of the others.

I know that people like to rail against big corporate chains but I'm in support of any bookstore that stays open. I do love the variety of things available at Barnes & Noble and this particular store is huge with a cafe and a great kids area and I could spend hours here. Staff are always friendly and willing to help with whatever questions or needs I might have.

I am so glad that I can go visit a place where there are real books and magazines that can be handled, perused and be experienced. Just pick a book from the numerous aisles or a magazine from the racks of great variety, take a table in the cafe and enjoy the conducive atmosphere of the place. Partake of delicious pastries with a latte. Sure beats sitting with a laptop! I think B and N will be around for a while and that's a comforting thought.
