This was the biggest rip off ever. Aside from the staff being unbelievably rude, the sandwiches were a rip off. I have pictures of the child sized roast beef that was so small we thought they were the kids size. The Italian beef was a mess there was so much gravy that the bread disintegrated. Ordered 2 kids meals and they forgot the veggie sticks and apple juice. It was a horrible experience. I’ve gone to the Cottleville, chesterfield, Baldwin, Sullivan, o’fallon lions choices and NEVER had food presented so poorly. Corporate needs to check this one out. I have pictures.

Last two orders were missing items shown on the receipt. Drive thru ordering process is painful. Sign on door says dining room open .. but all doors were locked.

The 1-star is only because there's not an option to go below ZERO! I arrived at the Des Peres location on Saturday around 2:45pm. I ordered through drive-thru and had a TERRIBLE experience with the woman working the drive-up and my order in general. On the intercom, I ordered 1 roast beef and swiss well-done on the steamer as opposed to cooked in the au jus, then 1 roast beef and cheddar well-done on the steamer as opposed to cooked in the au jus, a large fry, BBQ sauce, and a soft drink. When she read back my order, she failed to mentioned “well-done”. I corrected her, and then she read it back to me again without mentioning “well-done”. I asked her after she read it back a second time if she had taken note that I’d like the meat well done on the steamer and she abruptly cut me off and loudly stated in a rude tone: “I just take the orders, I don’t know nothing about how the food is made. Pull around for your total if that's all you're ordering!” I pulled up and she said "Hi" but was uninviting. She does not look like she wants to be there AT ALL. The food was made quickly, but I immediately looked in the bag and saw they were about to serve me THEEE WORST LOOKING FRIES EVERRRR. They were old, dark brown, VERY GREASY, and were cold and dry like they were from the day before or longer. It looked like they took them from the trash. I asked for them to be remade and they obliged. I received my replacement fries then pulled off. My wife wanted Chic-Fil-A so we went across the parking lot to get her food. As we waited to order at that MUCH better restaurant, I opened my food and found that they gave me 2 roast beef and swiss (missed the cheddar), neither sandwich was well-done, there was ZERO seasoning on the meat, and the fries tasted like old, old, old fry oil. I got my wife's food and then went back into Lion's Choice to get a full refund for my order. At first they told me that Todd Willson said to no longer give out refunds. I can see Todd is the one responding to these reviews and attempting to save customers - for what it's worth. They eventually figured out how to refund my money, but during this 5-minute wait for my refund the workers in the back, in plain view of the lobby, literally were screaming obscenities at each other dropping “F” bombs and any other profanity you could think of. This place is NOT an environment for children, and the food will likely make you sick judging by what I received which I refused to eat. Trust me, the good reviews are from people who either got lucky on the day they decided to go there, or they are in on the ruse. DO NOT spend your money at THIS Lion’s Choice. I’ll never go back to this location and I’m done with Lion’s Choice for good now as these experiences are the prevailing ones I consistently have with this brand. Give it a go, Todd. How can you possibly make this right? You can't convince me to even try again. I think you should suggest that corporate permanently closes this location or get all new workers at the very minimum.

Grew up in Eureka MO miles from a Lions Choice but moved to Chicago where I’m now hundreds of miles away. Stopped by the DesPeres location while in town last week to get my fix. The staff was kind, friendly, and courteous and didn’t look at me weird when I ordered additional food to go LOL. Roast beef is always delicious and the fries are phenomenal. DO ME A FAVOR AND MOVE UP TO CHICAGO PLZ!!!!

The employees here really care about the customers! My car battery died while in the drive thru and two of the employees came out and helped me get it started again. Awesome staff!!

I love their roast beef and swiss, add extra Lion's Choice seasoning... It's the best. The fries are more amazing with the seasoning.

In the drive through line literally 20 minutes. Still no service. If you want to wait for your food longer than it takes to eat it, this is the place. If I could give zero stars, I would. No excuse. If you can’t provide at least poor customer service, you should either post a sign saying 25 minute wait time, or just close the place. Seriously!

Moves slow. It's was only me inside and the workers took they time to take my order as if they were busy. No one in drive thru or inside.

I wish I could post pictures here. Biggest waste of money. Food was terrible and we couldn’t eat it. Rock Hill should not have closed. We will not be going back to this location ever!

How can a Roast Beef restaurant not have roast beef? I was in the drive thru at the Des Peres location tonight at 6:30pm (signs and website state open till 9:00pm) only to wait for someone to answer me for nearly 3 minutes then was told they were out of Roast Beef!! How?

The food was good and the staff member that took my order was incredibly nice. My issue, and this is one of my absolute biggest pet peaves, is the manager thought it appropriate to reprimand her staff in full view and ear shot of the guests in the dinning room. There are definitely times to correct staff behavior, but have the respect of your customers to do so in the back office or somewhere that we don't have to hear some poor soul getting embarrassed in front of several customers that just trying to enjoy a nice meal. Having to hear a woman talk to a grown man in a condescending tone and belittling them for me to hear is less than pleasant.

In town from Wisconsin, the GM greeted us and helped us like he owned the place. Just a great guy! Food was delicious too!! I would be here all the time if we lived here.

Food is well prepared and fresh, but the drive through takes a very long time. 2 cars that couldn't wait had trouble getting out of line as the drive through has curbs on both sides (others had to back out of the line to allow them out). Short of help or not very efficient?

We don't go out to eat much because my daughter is gluten sensitive. Lion's Choice is careful with the gluten free buns and packages them separately. While the young lady was waiting for us to decide what we wanted I don't know if she was saying the words to a song or if she didn't like that we were not sure what we wanted when we pulled up.

Been here numerous time in the past. After today, I'll never go back. Ordered two king roast beef meals w/ swiss and a kids meal, all with fries for $29. Asked for bbq and ketchup. Got the order, there was no bbq sauce or ketchup and they forgot two large fries. Went in to confront them and the worker said, "i put the sandwiches in there and then i watched a video on my phone and said forget the fries". After getting the fries from another worker who found his comment to be funny, there ended up being no cheese on any of the sandwiches and the kids was roast beef as opposed to the turkey i ordered. All other franchisees should be utterly embarrassed by this location.

I went thru drive thru and I love the roast beef. However, I got 2 bowls of cheddar Broccoli soup. They were so burnt like they were in a steam table on high temperature. I threw them away.

If I could I would give NO STARS. About 4 weeks ago I went to the Des Peres, MO Lions Choice it was 8:35pm and at that time their website said they were open till 9pm. All the lights were still on even the outside menu board & they told me they closed at 8:30. I went by there 20 minutes later & they were taking an order. Then a week later I got there at 8:15pm again they said they closed at 8:00. Then last Monday I got there at 7:45 & once again they told me they were closed. Well I gave them a lot of chances & was hoping they would stay open till the time it says on their website or even 8:00. So I no longer go to that Lions Choice. The Lions Choice on Manchester Rd in Rock Hill, MO is great they have employees there that want to work & they are very kind & helpful. Thank you Rock Hill.

I've been here plenty times before and never had a problem with service. Until today. I ordered the butcher block in the drive through and received a small roast beef sandwich. Went inside and had them fix it. But... not a single person in there knew how to make it. So I'm left with a huge mess of a sandwich. Yall need to train your workers.

The manager was very professional and customer friendly, she made our dinning experience so awesome, I think her name is Lisa.

They roast their meats daily and slice to order. I had their Spicy Italian sandwich and it was very good 👍. Caters to everyone.

We didn't have these out east where I'm from but they're a lot like Arby's but with more consistently amazing food. This location is always pretty fast with good eats so I can always recommend it.

I haven't had LCs in a long time since we moved to ATL, had to stop by and yes, it really hit the spot! The fries were on point and the Italian sandwich was star sixty nine-ish. Fresh hot food fast and a friendly staff-- kudos to Des Peres management! I'll be back!

Rowwwwwwar. It's the choice of lions I'm not a lion. Lol. But if you like roast beef chicken or even pulled pork. You can get it served right here. Baked potatoes are super good too!

I really enjoyed my experience. The place was very clean and the service was impeccable. The roast beef was the best I've ever had, made to perfection. Next time I'm in town I will be making a visit to this location.

Good roast beef. I got the $5.55 meal deal which included a roast beef sandwich, small fries, and a small drink. I also got a chocolate mini dip cone for 49 cents, which is always worth it. The sandwich was very, very salty. I liked it, though. Coincidentally, the fries didn’t seem to have any salt, so it was quite backwards from most establishments. The fries are similar to McDonald’s fries. I had forgotten that you can order them with seasoning, but I’ll definitely do so next time. Overall, the food, service, and price were all good enough to warrant a positive review.
