The beer is amazing. The service is top notch. You can’t been the atmosphere or the prices and the food is top notch American. For a good chill dinner, for the price of Hardee’s, plus a beer, there is no way to go wrong!!

My GO TO place for fried cod. The waitresses are very on top of things with orders and drink refills. EDIT: Visited again and had the nicest waitress and bus boy, John. Very good dinner. The carrot cake was delicious!

Went Saturday when they first open with my mom. Never been here. Was a nice atmosphere people at the bar and other people/families sitting at the tables. Wait times were a little long for the food. Server was very nice and got everything perfect. Food was sooooo good!!! And it was plentiful I had some to take home to eat later on. Great place to go. Will definitely be back.

I was happy with my experience at The Haven. I had a friendly server and everything was fresh and arrived quickly. I had the baked cod with onion petals and steamed broccoli. My only complaint is that it tasted like the oil needed a change--which is to be expected at a pub that serves a lot of fried food daily. It didn't ruin my experience or even stop me from eating the onion petals. Their restrooms were clean and well-stocked. There are multiple TVs showing different sports and shows, which some may find distracting. My meal was very affordable, and I plan to try the salmon if I go back.

Always a go-to for us. This is the answer to that old question: “where do you wanna go?” The answer is, inevitably, The Haven! Great food! Great service! Good drinks and cold beer! Highly recommend “Meatloaf Tuesdays!” You will not be disappointed.

The food was great, Best toasted raviolis in STL. Service was great also. Downside, the guys in the dishwashing room had their Alexa blasting music and having a rap battle 🤦. It was ridiculous loud and they were rude when the server asked them to turn it down a little. We could still hear them at the front door as we were leaving. I'm sure this will be a big turn off to their customers.

Such a family friendly place..awesome food at a great price and everyone is so welcoming 😁 we especially love the chicken spedini special and homemade soups..please don't change them 😁

We got the appetizer sampler and some burgers. The chicken tenders, toasted ravs, and onion petals were some of the best I've ever had and the horseradish sauce was amazing. The burger might just be my new favorite burger in the city. We went Saturday after the tornado winds had taken out our electricity, and were so hungry and stressed. The staff were so compassionate and lovely. I can't wait to go back for another burger and to try the french onion soup - one of my favorite foods. Oh also I got the carrot cake and it really is delicious.

This place has awesome food!! Cheddar burger is great! The steak sandwich is great also but make sure you tell them well if you want it medium.. delicious and priced reasonable.. they sometimes never answer the phone to place order.. just call back and or leave message. Satisfying.

Eat there a lot. It is a good, safe neighborhood bar, that skews to older patrons. Food can b hit or miss. Toasted ravioli is great. Spaghetti is very good as is fish and chips and carrot cake. But stay away from the instant mashed potatoes.

Love it! Old school South side bar and restaurant nestled in a neighborhood at the intersection of Haven and Morganford. Great burgers, pot roast, and love the crinkle fries. Clean and neat.

The food here is awesome, but they never answer the phone for take-out orders. Then of you go in to order, they ignore that you're there. Maybe look into 3rd party ordering platforms. I was really looking forward to some roast beef and gravy, but I guess we'll go elsewhere once again.

No website, nobody answers the phone, no way to order online. I've been pretty lenient with reviews before but in addition to not being convenient, the food was pretty mediocre for the price. I'm sure my grandparents would have loved it...

Always a good value when we come here - we can each get a burger and beer and spend less than $40. They have good daily specials as well. Just a great neighborhood place with good bar food and food drinks.

The cod fish diñner is an excellent choice of fish. This time it was overcooked and had to be sent back.easily accommodated and brought back my regular lightly breaded large fish!

Consistent and tasty food and a fun pub atmosphere make this a great neighborhood bar-restaurant to frequent for a great meal or a few pints while watching the game! Nice variety of options make this a great place to bring your eclectic crew.

This is a neighborhood favorite I will keep coming back to. Their homemade dishes are great. Be sure to stick to what's marked on the menu as homemade favorites. I wish they'd remove all freezer bag items and stick to their delicious house specials.

Fantastic local food place with an excellent menu. The daily specials are always good and definitely worth a try. Honestly, all of the food here is great. Great place for family or friends and they always have local games on. Service is also top notch. Highly recommended.

I love this quaint little restaurant. Try the fried pickles! I’d have shared a picture, but they’re gone 😊 Also, I’m not sure where they find their staff, but they’re as pretty and accommodating as the good is delicious.

I love local restaurants. Especially established neighborhood ones. This one is among the best and I eat out a lot. They didn't raise up prices during/after COVID and I love that and eat here all the time now when I stay/work in this neighborhood. Excellent food. Excellent staff.

There are few places in this city, state, country, that can have a diverse menu and all of it is SUPERB! Used to go to the Haven with my parents all the time, but I sadly no longer live in STL, but they still go a couple times a month. Daily specials are always amazing, too! They make good cocktails, as well. And the carrot cake! Yum. Staff is awesome!

First time visit. Saw the excellent ratings on Google maps and we were super close and hungry, so we turned around and found a place to park. Sat right away. Friendly host and waitress. Drinks stayed full, foods came out promptly and tasted great. I will gladly return if I’m in the area.

Very nice, cozy neighborhood bar. Everybody is friendly, Nikki our server was very nice, as was Molly our bartender. Would be here all the time if lived closer. Great atmosphere. French onion soup was awesome. Wife very much liked the hill salad. Will he back to try more menu items.
