Very unique local breakfast spot located on the heart of grants trail Greenway. The restaurant is located on a small historic area of Crestwood. There is a museum, a small pond, and fountain. The food was great, the wait wasn't too bad, and all of the servers had a smile on their face. The price was inline with other places and lots of unique food with secret recipes. The French toast was quite good and my Benedict was cooked perfectly. Their chefs really know how to cook a perfect egg. Whether stopping while using grants trail or just coming for breakfast, you will be glad you stopped in.

Next to the bike trails and Sappington house. Large parking but place is popular, so parking might get busy. Great service. Our party of 5 was accommodated inside within few minutes, while it was very busy. I need to come back for lunch menu…but breakfast/brunch items were prepared with love and were delicious. Highly recommend East shore Benedict, Quiche and Burger. Didn’t get to try mimosas which they gave variety. Next time…

In the area and looking for a good local breakfast. Found this place. When I pulled in, my first thought was, this can't be it. It is a beautiful building. Service was excellent. Special was waffle French toast with mixed berries and lemon. I immediately said YES PLEASE! Food was out in less than 5 minutes and it looked amazing. It tasted even better. My son ordered the pancakes. They were HUGE, light and fluffy, and delicious with the cinnamon honey butter. I will make the 45 minute trek and return soon. I cant wait to try something else off the menu. Highly recommended.

We visited The Barn on Mother's Day this year for brunch and were thoroughly impressed. Being a holiday, we waited an hour and a half for a table- but were close enough to some stores in town to shop around in to pass the time. Once seated, we ordered the special- Belgian waffle fried in French toast batter with house raspberry jam, the breakfast quiche, and the Californian eggs benedict. All three dishes were incredible, though the quiche was my favorite. Our server Adam provided us with exceptional service, going above and beyond expectation. The location alone (the historic Thomas Sappington House on beautifully maintained grounds with a pond) made spending Mother's Day afternoon on a beautiful spring day the perfect way to celebrate Mom. We will be back!

Very nice place. Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service. I had the Texan. Very tasty dish. The meat was fall apart in your mouth. Just a little sweet for my taste, but that’s totally subjective. You’ll come away full and satisfied. Beautiful place to relax and eat. I really appreciated that they have a quiet, comfortable setting. No loud music in the background. It’s easy to visit with your companions.

Cannot recommend this place any higher!! Best Special French Toast I have ever tasted! My husband got the Cajun Crawfish Benedict and was impressed. We are from Texas so that’s saying something! Kids menu has great kid friendly options too! 10 out 10!

What a gem! A gorgeous location, service was phenomenal, and food was to die for! The French toast waffles are some of the best waffles I’ve ever had and the biscuits and gravy were terrific. They reminded me of my mothers and I never thought I would find a place comparable to hers.

On a beautiful historic property. The food was amazing. The staff was supper friendly and helpful. Egg benedicts are to die for. Try a scone if they have any available. Can't wait to go back. Hopefully, their outdoor seating is open by then and we'll be able to enjoy the outdoors.

Let's start off with how awesome the team work is at this spot, Excellent!!! The cocktail coconut cream pie is delicious and will hit the spot for a sweet tooth.. The Californian is a nice light meal for brunch and when you're not trying to get stuffed 😋.

Charming location and good food, have been here several times and have always had an excellent experience. We got the Ho-Ham and the Texan - Ho-Ham is your standard eggs benedict and the Texan is a spruced up version. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service. Nikki was outstanding and such a delight . The whole team was. We have five kiddos and had next to no wait time on our food. It really made for a terrific experience. The food was just as good!

Formally the Sappington House I believe, (which I tried several years ago and thought the food was average and overpriced as well as poor service), the food (breakfast), service and atmosphere this time around were excellent as well as reasonably priced. Maybe not a weekly occurrence but a nice occasional change of pace from your standard breakfast outing. Sat in the covered, heated patio with temps in the 40's and was nice and cozy. Much improved from previous visit years ago.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the breakfast. I had the strata, belly buster barn potatoes and the Gouda grits. The tiramisu French toast was amazing and so was the mango french toast. The staff was extremely friendly. The owner came out to talk with us as well.

Great location. A hustle and bustle place great for families, but chatting may be challenging indoors given noise level; parking was limited during peak time. Arrived on Saturday for 9:30 breakfast meeting, and while I wasn't expecting to be seated right away, I was taken to a table immediately. Service and food were great! I plan to visit again.

Very nice place to visit, its such a cute restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff there are phenomenal, very sweet and attentive. The food was very delicious me and my sister really enjoyed it. Definitely check it out if your from out of town and there is a little museum and walking path right by it.

Today was our first visit and we will definitely return. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. I had 1/2 egg salad BLT sandwich and 1/2 salad. My husband had the French Toast with bacon. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients. It was a nice day so we ate on the back porch.

Wonderful. The french toast was phenomenal. The fruit was fresh. The egg salad sandwich was a little bland but I would definitely eat it again. Recommend!

Great place for breakfast! The moment you walk in the door they greet you and are so welcoming. Great service and the food comes out so quick. We sat on the patio and could hear the fountain from the small lake. Best french toast ever!

The Barn is a great warm and welcoming stop for breakfast. The menu offers multiple options, catering to any style of breakfast. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu! The food had plenty of flavor but wasn’t killed with seasoning.

The food was so good! The drinks were nice as well. They didn't blink when I requested a virgin tequila sunrise for my minor. Look forward to my next visit!

First time here and it definitely will not be the last. We had some time off during the week and wanted to try someplace new and boy are we glad we found The Barn. First off the staff was all great and super friendly. It had a very cute and welcoming atmosphere with some wonderful outside seating as well. Unfortunately the day was a little rainy and gloomy so we sat inside but we said that we had to come back to make sure we had a chance to eat in the patio dining. I had "The Wyoming" and boy will I tell you this was sooooooo good. It's a biscuit split and half, sausage, bacon, ham, and some very tender short rib, topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. I'm not a grits person so I picked hash browns and I didn't regret it. My wife had the special of the day which was a waffle dipped in French toast batter and topped with a fresh homemade black berry drizzle with some sort of crunchy heaven stuff. The coffee was very good and we had a few Mimosa's and wow did they hit the spot. All in all we were very satisfied and we have not stopped recommending this place to anyone who will listen 😂.

So, the coffee is delish & while I didn't imbibe, they do have breakfast cocktails! Yum! There's a plethora of "Benedicts" so I went with a western version called The Wyoming that has a BISCUIT bottom, 3 meats, eggs, holandaise, etc. The biscuit was massively large...and massively over-baked...crispy like a cookie, hard to get a knife through!!...not kosher, one bit. The meats were DELISH & the egg was PERFECTLY POACHED. I mean, PERFECTLY!!! The sausage tasted honemade; not some USFoods or Sisco stuff. The hollandaise was almost non-existent...so I cannot tell you what that was like, but each benny dish had its own spin on such. I cannot wait to try the crab cakes or crawfish cakes ones!!! I tried the one that I did, because it was the most expensive, so I figured it *must* be the best?! Lol Speaking of "most expensive"...lawdy!! $20 for this benny! Portion *was* hearty...if it werent enough to make 2 meals out of...I would never go back...seriously. It came with hash browns or grits...I love grits so I picked those..."cheesy"...and exchanged for hash browns because it was literally "undercooked grit soup!" The waitress said the (new) owner knew they were such...so a bit disappointed that they were serving them, anyway...I mean, they weren't just thin...they were soup! I come from a place that you don't serve sub-par stuff!! You get ONE CHANCE to make that first impression!! Overall, I'm truly macking to go back, though!! I eye-spied others meals...the egg salad looked delish, & again, hearty! They have a breakfast "loaf" that looked far better than the menu description, read. The staff were super friendly, but not overly. The restaurant was a bit chilly...and I'm NEVER cold. Drafty. Its a genuinely OLD building. LOL If they screw it up again... they've lost me. Also, pro tip!! Add a side of fresh fruit or something beside grits soup or shredded potatoes! I can go to a LOT of different breakfast joints and get a LOT of food for $20. Fresh fruit AND a side would have made it feel more worth it! For some reason i cannot share/add my pics.

Never been here before...but the person taking my name upon arriving, remembered my name and what I looked like! Impressive because they were busy. Small menu but food was delicious! Didn't wait long for a table...maybe 7 min at most, but the service was outstanding! Friendly, courteous, timely...Definitely will go again!

Good atmosphere, Accessible to non-car owners, Bike rack, Outdoor/Indoor seating. Reasonable prices and great food! Why cant all restaurants be accessible to non car owners. If only we had safe walking/bike paths connected all around the city.

Amazing! This is my new favorite breakfast place and I plan on coming often. It is a smaller establishment so seating is limited. If you visit when they are busy expect to wait 10-20 mins. It is definitely worth the wait! After being seated and ordering, the food comes out pretty quickly. You don't have to wait long at all. The waist staff work together as a team so all guests are well taken care of. Wait staff is super friendly and personable. I tried the wyoming benedict and it came as an openfaced biscuit piled with bacon, sausage, ham, short rib, pepper jack cheese, with an egg on top. There is optional hollandaise sauce. I opted for a side of gravy and then I had a side of hashbrowns. It was perfect and everything and more I hoped it to be. So delicious! Can't wait to try other things on the menu. It's not a typical, boring menu. They have all kinds of unique options. The beligian waffles looked pretty great to, if you have more a sweet tooth for breakfast. I can't say enough good things about this place! Go try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
