I inherited a old pocket watch from my father and I wanted to know more about it because I couldn't find the info I was looking for on the internet. I found Jewels on Hampton while surfing for info so I decided to visit their establishment hoping they could help. I walked in with my pocket watch in hand, a employee approached me and i handed him my watch and without even being asked a question I guess he presumed I was trying to sell it and said "it's gold plated we're not interested" and handed it back. I was so dumbfounded and felt so disrespected that I just turned around and walked out. I actually sat in my car and cried because not only did I feel disrespected, but I also felt like I was Stereotyped. I DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. I'm sure they will respond to this review like they do to all the rest of the negative reviews, but their response will fall on deaf ears. I gave them a 1 star review because a negative star was not available. This response to my review is 100% FALSE 👇👇👇 this business continues to show their unprofessional ways by making up lies to TRY to make themselves look good. I hope people read this review and take their business elsewhere. 3.6 stars and dropping!!!!!!!!!

They have a sign that says they give the best prices for gold, so I took 5 gold rings in there they looked at them and then asked how much I wanted for them, I said I wanted to see what your could give me. They said it's your jewelry(very rudely) . Uh, that's not how we give the best prices works, you see what everyone else is paying for gold and turn offer above that. Edit to reply to jewels on Hamptons lies, they offered no price and asked what I wanted for them as stated above. And yes please look at my reviews where I have thousands of people saying they're useful, I just left a five star review for five guys on South Lindbergh. Also I find it interesting that most of their five star reviews are the only review those people did.

Was sold an engagement ring, a size 5 which needed to be a 7. It was a surprise so we did not have the ring size at the time. He gave me a decent deal on the ring itself (which I'm assuming because it was a size five and no one could wear it) and a promise to resize it after I had popped the question. Upon returning we were told the jeweler was on vacation and to come back a week later. We waited and came back, got an attitude right off the bat and were told “we told you to come in the morning” which was never said. Then were were told that now it would be resized for a fee or they would suffer a total loss. Im not a jeweler, that may be the case, but the point is thats not what we were told, and our purchasing choices would have been different otherwise. This is our first interaction with this store and won’t be back. If you’re looking for straight forward, honest, kind business, this isn’t what you’re looking for. I never leave reviews either, but this left a pretty bad taste for us.

Stopped in to get an appraisal on a wedding ring that I may sell. Most of us that had shopped for Diamond rings know that carat, clarity, cut and color are factors to its value. However, Al, the owner schooled me further on determining value. I was very impressed and came out of the experience more knowledgeable. The staff was caring, honest and took the time to give great customer service and he didn’t even charge me for the cleaning and gave a new ring box to boot. I’ll be back!!

I had the best experience coming to get my ring cleaned and a side diamond replaced. I got my diamond fixed. They are amazing and Oh boy I will be recommending my friends to Jewels on Hampton.

I went in the store inquiring about getting an appraisal on a ring. I just happened to stop in as I was passing by. I didn't have the ring with me, but he would never tell me what they charge for an appraisal. He said bring the ring in and we'll work something out. What does that even mean? I wanted his opinion on a few other rings I did have, he was very rude and unfriendly. I'll not waste my time in there again. Jewelry stores in STL are a dime a dozen.

I had a great experience with the salesperson (AJ) and the owner. They gave me a great deal on a 14k gold emerald ring for my graduation that I know I'll treasure forever. The ring design I liked originally had an emerald cut garnet as the center stone that I hoped they could switch out for an emerald cut emerald. Within 1 week they were able to show me their available loose stone emeralds and set the loose stone in the new setting with it ready for pick-up. They even let me keep the original garnet to use on a future jewelry project! They really go above and beyond for their customers and offer the best prices around for a really unique selection.

This place does not offer the "Best Prices" either buying or selling. Offers 60% of value and what they sell is way over priced. Shop around! Bought a great one for under $100.00 that's over 40 grams on Amazon. I brought you a gold chain, you offered me 320.00, got over 500.00 at your competition.

Went to Jewels on Hampton for my engagement ring and was extremely happy with the results! The ring was custom made with my ideas, and the final product blew away my expectations! Al and his team were super transparent through the whole process and went above and beyond with communicating when it would be done and how much it would cost! 10 out of 10 would recommend this place for any of your jewelry needs. I have not been able to wear my wedding band for years because of the arthritis in my hand. Last year my husband bought me a ring that looked a lot like my original engagement ring only prettier. He passed away a few weeks ago and I started wearing our wedding bands around my neck. I took them to Jewels, and they made the three rings into a necklace for me. That way I have him with me all the time! They are super costumer focused and do beautiful custom jewelry. I’d give them 10 stars! I love my necklace. It is beautiful!

This guy is a joke! Well at least the one we dealt with. A little shady if you ask me. Had a very old natural diamond ring that we seeing what jewelers would offer to buy it before we made the best decision. The guy we dealt with ASKED US what we wanted for it. When we explained the window sign, he said “no that’s not how it works”. I’m sorry every other respectable jeweler we spoke to, made an offer. See because that’s how it works. After my husband questioned him about it he was told to leave as he followed him out calling him a white MF. I moved away from St Louis Hills several years back. Boy have things changed. Classy addition to St Louis Hills!

I made a visit to Jewels on Hampton for a gift for my daughters 23rd birthday. Looking in from the outside it is very inviting. I had my mother with me and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The customer service was wonderful. I was not rushed in making a decision on what to buy and the sales rep did not force me to buy something I did not want. I found a beautiful gift for my daughter and also a pair of earrings for my mothers. Thank you Jewels on Hampton for having such a large selection of Jewels. I will be back for some crystals.

extremely rude, and hung up on me, cant even give me a price on a 1 oz gold kugerand, which is a very common gold coin. its not rocket science, 1 oz of gold at spot price is 1950 what the hell 😂

I first visited Jewels On Hampton about a year ago to have my engagement ring repaired. Once for splitting the band and another time because my entire center stone had fallen out. I had the most fantastic experience working with the staff here. Their repair fees are way beyond reasonable, fair, and it's high-quality work. The staff is knowledgeable, so polite, really one of the most personable experiences I've had in any establishment. I would recommend anybody go there for repair, I know I won't go anywhere else. I look forward to visiting in the future, they have a beautiful selection of jewelry of all styles.

I took a gold diamond journey ring with one stone missing and one stone loose to be repaired at Jewels on Hampton. The owner examined it and showed me where most of the mountings for the diamonds were missing. He gave me a great price for a stone and all the mountings. I went there on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. I received a call Friday morning saying my ring was ready to picked up. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with the service and my ring looks brand new! I highly recommend the work! Thank you Jewels on Hampton - I can finally wear my ring again!

The place is spotless. Every time I go in there I am treated like Family. They educate you about your purchase,repairs,what’s trending etc. The Father and Son team work to ensure your happy before you walk Out the door. They are now and have been a great business for the neighborhood.

Very rude and made some B's up about appointments on Saturday gave me a card which I immediately ripped up and threw on the ground outside. But it's all good I will go to a coin shop elsewhere and support a business that actually knows how to treat their customers

The selection is unmatched, prices are phenomenally reasonable, and I know if I ever need any type of jewelry, I’ll only shop with them!!
