Me and my 2 young daughters were staying at this hotel (age 1&2) after the first night my daughters come out in loads of spots. Me being me, took them to a&e as they looked very severe. For them to tell me they were bites!! I phoned the hotel straight away to inform them and the supervisor went to check my room whereby they found bed bugs in and under all 3 beds in the room! Staff were very rude about this.they offered no compensation at all and not even a sorry! They then moved me to another room and stated I couldn't take any off my stuff with me u till it was washed. So off I went to the local laundrette and spent about 40 pound for washing the clothes. After I'd done that I took all the clothes to the new room but a few items I needed to thoroughly check etc. A travel cot and play prams /toys of my daughters. But I was greeted by pest control who told me they had to be moved right away. So made me take them to my new room i asked him could they potentially be on any of the stuff he said yes but they needed to be moved. My daughters remained to get bitten. Obviously the bed bugs had came too!! And the hotel refused another room. So I pointed out my daughters will continue to get bitten and they said unfortunately there is nothing they can do. Absolutely disgusting service. When I went to the second 4oom at first I checked all under the mattresses and could tell they hadn't been checked or cleaned as there was filth all under them! Stay away from this hotel

We went for a family get together, booked 3 rooms. Staff very friendly, location was perfect for the hall that was booked nearby. Breakfast was good for the price.

My experience is strictly about the BREAKFAST. Itā€™s very poor. They are very slow at replenishing the buffet. I and my family and other guest experienced the same thing. No one actually checked what was required and simply brought things out slowly. No plates, no bread, no beans. Plenty of cereals and sausages, no pancakes. But without plates - what you suppose to do. Pulling up a chair to the buffet was an idea. But thought it might be unfair to other guests. Even at Ā£9.50 with children eating for free is too much if there is no actual food and plates thereAlso the time it took to get food to the buffet it was a good thing I wasnā€™t in a rush.

Babita and Paris at the reception, weā€™re extremely professional, polite and sympathetic to us. They ensured us we understood what was going on with our booking which had nothing to do with themselves and was out of their control. Massive Thank you to Babita and Paris for their excellent service, they were nothing but polite and very helpful. Thank you

This hotel is conveniently located for West Bromwich Town Centre. It is clean and comfortable and competitively priced. Car parking is only Ā£3 for 24 hours for customers. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent value as its unlimited and only Ā£9.99. I did not manage to sleep for half of the night, so have only given 4 stars.

Nice Hotel - good price for city centre location. Room was large with a very comfy bed. Nice good value breakfast, and Leanne was very helpful, who obviously cares about her customers. Keep up the good work.

Arrived slightly late for checking however Sunny was helpful and checked us in straight away. Location was perfect for our event and accessible to local amities. One thing that I truly appreciate and respect was the night team. Joe was amazing on our first night and helped us the next morning. Matt, from the night team was absolutely amazing. His knowledge and advice helped us a lot during I stay and he was very helpful. Matt is an outstanding member of the team n I would return for the hospitality he showed and respect he gave.

Unfortunately this is the 2nd time I've stayed at this travelodge and not much has changed. The first time problems ranged from the ac not working, showers being blocked, mucky towels left in corridors and the absolute state of the stained carpets. This time around I had to wait 10 minutes for somone to let me in the front door and was only let in after I called the hotel number to get someones attention because no one responded to the intercom, then I was told by the person who answered they'll be down "soon" which I had to clarify as I didn't know if it was worth waiting in my vehicle. The carpets are no better, the shower is barely a trickle and once again the ac doesn't work. On top of that at some point today staff have been in the room and lefts lights on, opened the window and left it open. why would staff enter an occupied room with someone's belongings unless requested ? This trip has absolutely confirmed travelbodge is not for me, I'd rather stay at Jeffrey Dahmers place.

Had to change room as the first one the sink was blocked with vomit, staff arranged this no problem. When returning in the evening the hotel and room was filled with the smell of cannabis, unfortunately nothing that could be done about this. The carpets are stained and in a poor state for what looks to be quite a new hotel. It served its purpose but wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again.

The staff were so accommodating to all our requests as we had multiple families staying for many nights for a huge family wedding. Huge shout outs to the manager Leanne and the team, Babita, Mukesh, Lilo. They were all so very nice not just to me but to all our family and friends staying there, they greeted us with friendly smiles in our early mornings as well as took care of us late nights. Would definitely stay there again.

Good value for the price - central and west to get too. The rooms are clean and ample for a night or two The staff are very friendly and helpful - Jo on the front desk was very helpful with info on the local area and also with the parking and Babs who works in the food /bar area canā€™t do enough for you to make sure your happy and have what you need I stay in hotels a couple of nights a week with my job and itā€™s the people that make the stay and they have made my stay here enjoyable - thank you both Awesome breakfast too

The room was clean enough, a lot of things have to be requested such as a bath mat and towels. The key tends to stop working after a day of stay. The connection is poor (with or without WiFi), the breakfast isnā€™t the best. Just an alright place to stay.

What a lovely place with the nicest memebers of staff you can possibly imagine. We visited the hotel with a group of over 60 people. The service was quick and efficient, będą were comfy, bathrooms clean, highly reccommended.

Room very clean and comfortable as per normal with Travelodge but the reason for the low score is the restaurant. In spite of there only being 1other table with 4 people dining, it took over an hour to serve our 2 person meal. When it arrived it was grim to put it mildly. The linguine looked like it had been microwaved several times and then allowed to go cold. The helping was tiny but that didn't matter as it was inedible owing to it having congealed and stuck to the plate the prawn sauce included just 4 prawns. The side salad that was meant to be served with it was not provided at all. The pizza was also cold and lifeless, we gave up eating it after we had managed about a 1/4 of it. We were given compensation of 2 breakfasts (worth Ā£18) against Ā£25.90 the cost of the dinner. The chicken wings starter consisted of 4 pieces. They were also cold but tasted Ok. The ice cream dessert was very nice, it too was cold which was a blessing! A staff member apologised and explained that a new member of staff had not been adequately trained which meant that long term staff (only one on duty) had to attend reception, answer the phone, deal with guests queries, serve at the bar, wait on guests, clean up any mess etc etc. That member of staff had not grumbled about what was expected of her, and she did the best that could be asked of her and was kind, courteous and helpful but if Travelodge management aren't going to resource the restaurant properly, they'd be better to close it down and direct guests to JustEat.

Clean enough, now very bad WiFi in the room I had and you have to pay for there WiFi usage., the lass at reception told me the WiFi should be gd in the room but she was lying. You have to pay Ā£3 per day parking and itā€™s a very small car park the overflow car park just looks dodgey was worried about my van every night. Not for me

Was met by a very friendly team, Babs at the helm. Shanoise helped with all aspects of our stay. They really were great, & we have been staying in countless travelodges around the country. We always have good service, but this trip was just a different standard. Well done Babs & the team, will be back soon Gary & Charlotte

Stayed for 2 nights the room was decent no issues but my key card stopped working after the first night and when i tried to get past the main door it wouldn't open, there was no staff at the reception and no signs with information on how to get help at the times there are no staff available. I had to wait in reception for 30 minutes untill a member of staff eventually came from out the back and issued me a new card.

Extremely noisy guests. Kids running around and banging doors until midnight. When asked what our plans were on check-in, was told: ā€œBirmingham? Thereā€™s nothing to do there!ā€ Had a great time at museums, art galleries, shops and restaurants, despite that. Hotel room was clean and comfortable as always with Traveolodge.
