Sandwell Flagship Park. This is probably the nicest of the Sandwell parks, it has large open spaces to walk in as well as large communal play areas and fenced play areas for younger children. It has a boating lake (according to the map, definitely a lake) and free parking which you get to by ignoring all the signs for Sandwell Valley (which it is right by). It also has that rarest of rare, the unicorn of modern parks public toilets! It does look like there are a lot of volunteers helping with this park, but there were also several council teams cleaning up on a bank holiday at 10am. Lovely Park 5*

I love Sandwell Valley Park for the kids. There's plenty there to do . They can feed the ducks, geese and Swans on the pool at the top of the steps by the lower carpark. There are toilets by the car parks. There are a few park areas for smaller children and larger .For the larger children there's a climbing area that you have to pay for. There's a small fairground for them too. There are also food stalls and an ice cream van on the park area where you can buy hamburgers, hot dogs, candy floss and cold & hot drinks . On warmer days there's a small water park area .

Fantastic park with many features, such as the large boating lake, sensory garden, war memorial cenotaph, and large kids playground. If all that isn't enough, it's right next to Sandwell Valley country park. Generally well maintained, although some do try their best to ruin it for everyone. Cheap parking if driving. Many events are held throughout the year, such as rememberance, bonfire night, and various laser light exhibitions.

Stunning park, grass is beautifully cut, and the scenery is amazing. There is plenty of play equipment for children both young and older. There is plenty of seating for everyone. There are public toilets, including disabled toilets and baby changing, snack shops, and outdoor seating. Not forgetting the amazing lake full of gorgeous ducks and swans.

Brilliant park. So much space with plenty of parking. As part of Sandwell Valley Park, this park has a large pond/pond, fun fair and play area for kids. Also has tennis courts and toilets.

We love this park so much. Its absolutely huge and there's so much to do. Our last visit it was utterly chucking it down and we still had a blast.

A clean and open park with a friendly family atmosphere. There is paid parking readily available but would be much better if council made it free. There are gym machines for adult workouts scattered around the park and bikes available for hire. Great kids playing area and a large field for sports. No park lights so wouldn't recommend during dark periods.

So amazing parks, kids are had so fun with lots of activities including Fun fair, Outdoor water splashpad, Sand beach, Gym. So, it is a massive area to walking 🚶‍♂️ and running 🏃‍♂️ and you can do picnic as well. Visited first time from Birmingham area and discovered Sandwell council advantage and given more facilities to kids activities then Birmingham City area. We ha @Cannon Hill Park, but unfortunately, there is not any water splash or sand beech that most of the kids love them. Thanks so much to the local council, and need a bit of attention to toilet cleanliness. 🚻

Beautiful and fantastic! Lovely day over there with play area and a large lake. We went Sandwell valley and to the farm too. Wheelchair access and car parks, toilets near the car park but some reason the men’s shut earlier then the woman’s but no idea why. It make it perfect for picnics at the park if you having a play day, everything’s so close to each other.

First time here. Was for a event/job. But got an hour early. Had a good look around. Such great facilities. 660 acers ground. But the amount of facilities and things to do. With great parking. Unfortunately costs, but cheap £2 for all day. They got allot of things here. Wish I had time to explore more. Great place for family and children.

Lovely huge park set inside Sandwell Valley Country Park, plenty of play areas, cafe, loads of benches. Two pools, ducks, geese, swans, and a sensory garden which is beautiful. Ice cream Van's to visit, plus, just outside is a small fairground for younger kids, and rope climbing area for older ones. Parking is plentiful and good value, over 4hrs just £2!!

Huge park for walking and other activities when they are on, there is a little fun fair, live animals that form part of a zoo. Huge lake, lovely in summer when people do picnics in the park. Read books. Sunbathe. Cycling. Running. Walking. Great place for all ages to be at one with nature. There lots of car parking spaces too.

Loved the light up playground for the kids. My little one had a fab time and the helpers were just brill.she especially loved the glow in the dark skipping ropes. Andy and the band didnt disappoint, the kids and adults loved it with everyone singing along and dancing too.

Great place to go and relax. Lots of flowers, trees and two nice duck pounds. And quite a few tables and benches to have a picnic or sit and talk.

A wonderful family park perfect for picnics and one of the best free playgrounds in the Midlands. In the summer they have a splash park too which is great fun for the kids. My boy loves the sandpits, park, cafe and rabbits! So much to do. The old farm building has rabbits to touch and stroke for a small fee and a great cafe which is very reasonably priced.

Very nice place to visit with family and friends, my kids enjoyed all play areas especially vertical zip lines.

This park is my local and never fails to occupy the kids (3 year old and 17 month old). Whether it's exploring the grassy areas, playing in the sand area, going to the large play area, going to the free water park (where water comes out of the ground and sprays about), or feeding the ducks. It is a park with lots to do. Even in the rain, it's great to take the dogs or just go for a walk towards the woody area.

A true gem to the area, a breath of fresh air. Very large park, with good range of sub sections.

Visited during the evening for an illuminations, lights were slightly disappointing but park was easy to access. Plenty of bars, port-a-loos and stalls to browse. Stage setup for musical performances too which we enjoyed.

Almost perfect, apart from all the Asian couples using the benches for things they shouldn't be, very awkward at times.

Best Park in Westbrom and surrounding areas. Everything you need out of an outdoor public place in one place. I have taken my kids here for many years.

Plenty to do, there is a large lake ,walking paths and its dog friendly. Climbing frame and play area for small kid's and the older more adventurous. Was quite surprised that the amount of exercise equipment around the park there's also mini golf and bike hire .

Lovely outdoor space. I like taking my mountain bike here and have a nice ride around and then down to sandwell valley to hit the trails.

Well kept, and idyllic in the middle of the hubbub of the urban sprawl. Dartmouth Park is great for a dog walk, to take the kids adventuring and for a leisurely stroll to get your steps on a walking working lunch.

Really nice clean park ideal for the children, with several play areas for different age groups. Lots to do here and facilities available. Recommended for a family day out.

Great park to have a wander round. Lots of green space and decent paths. The boating lake looked great with ducks and swans in. The park also joins really well onto Sandwell Valley Country Park if you want a longer walk. Would recommend a visit.
