Excellent aquarium shop with quality products and vast variety of fish to choose from. Staff really friendly and helpful, served by big bloke with great ink! He was very polite & knowledgeable & informative about the fish & shrimp we brought. Will definitely be using Sedgley Aquarium in the future. 10 out of 10, cheers guys & gals.

Easily the best fish shop I've been to in all of my years keeping fish. Tanks are all clean, fish are all healthy, and the staff are really friendly. Definitely a hidden gem, I only found out it existed after complaining to a friend how much my local shop were charging. The prices at Sedgley Road are brilliant, have to say. They have a YouTube channel and film new deliveries, and have a stock list on their website, not many places go that far, if any. I went in to buy a Koi Betta and it's in perfect health and settled in to my tank no problem. Looking forward to revisiting, places like this are the reason people end up with loads of tanks!

Lovely staff, only popped in while I was visiting the area to take a look to get ideas for my tank set up, but will definitely be travelling from Cheshire to start my set up with these guys

Best selection of tropical fish I've seen. All of the fish were super healthy, and none under treatment. The staff in there were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. I will be returning here again!

I've been using Sedgley Road Aquarium for 30 odd years, buying fish,tanks,plants and equipment which are always great quality and well priced. Everyone there are always on hand with advice or in better times just a friendly chat and bit of banter, nothing is too much trouble. They have been excellent during the covid pandemic keeping everyone as safe as possible. Keep up the excellent work.

Forget anywhere else... THIS is how to run a fish shop. I've been popping in to this shop for a few weeks. Each time bringing some very newbie questions about my new cold water fish setup. Every time I've been given considered advice from any of the staff I've met. They've helped me get on top of water condition, lighting, filters and feeding. After implementing all the changes they recommended, I have a beautiful tank and really happy active fish. A month ago I was about to give it up and my fish looked like they were too!

It was our first visit, very welcoming, clean, tidy, we went to get our special great grandson (William) some fish and new filter, the staff were fantastic with William, the staff were knowledgeable, and a great help. Beautiful, healthy fish, and was a delight to meet Peggy! Highly recommended! great choice of backing scenery and live plants too.

Fantastic tropical but awful cold water. Fish and staff alike. Upstairs couldn’t be nicer and anymore helpful. Downstairs well I thought it was victor meldrew.

I’ll start of by stating that the place was clean & tidy, with the variety in stock really good compared to other places however, I was ignored by staff when I came in. I wanted help choosing tank mates for a Betta (we were waiting to receive him) they recommended some red phantom tetra & said they actually keep these with male Betta themselves, a fish pairing which fast forward, left my imported (not cheap) male Betta dead with all of his fins pecked off. Not to mention the fact that THE DAY after we took the tetra home, they started showing symptoms of a fungal infection which cost me an extra £15 to treat & delayed us receiving our male Betta from abroad. After they had recovered, we got our male Betta & everything was fine for about 4 days, woke up one morning to see them all bashing him & pecking his fins, only to find that they’d killed him. My tank is cycled, 75l & heavily planted, no reason for this carnage to occur other than misinformation about compatibility. Has end up costing me over £80 in damages.

Really like this shop, been a few times staff have loads of knowledge, there range of both fish, equipment and ornaments including stones and spider wood etc is great, only shop here for my bits now!

Great place always happy to help recently upgraded my tank so I can now add some more of the beautiful fish they stock! Really knowledgeable, the shops usually busy but if you join the queue u get served!

The staff here are always very helpful and friendly. There is a huge variety of aquarium supplies as well as an extensive array of tropical fish. The only downside can be that the carpark is small so if you chose to come during peak hours you may struggle to find a spot. However there is street parking available within walking distance. We have visited three times in two weeks as we are upgrading our tank and the staff have been very knowledgable when needed. Prices seem around average as with any aquarium shop items are fairly expensive anyway although this shop have done a great job at supplying a selection so you are able to pick parts and supplies from several options based on your financial situation. I highly recommend this shop we will definitely continue to come here.

Went there today, the guy upstairs in the tropical fish room is extremely rude!!! Never experienced anyone so rude in a shop, no interest at all in helping people, makes you feel like you are a hinderance. Will definitely not be going back.

Brilliant lfs, very knowledgeable! Beautiful stock of fish and tanks are all immaculate! Not like some pet places that have atleast 2-3 dead fish in their tanks! Would highly recommend to anyone!

A wide supply of products for everything you need for your aquarium. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for advice on which fish would be ok to add to our aquarium with our current fish and the staff showed us all of the fish that would be suitable then gave us time and space for my children to choose which fish they wanted then served us once we were ready. I will definitely be going back to buy supplies in the future as well as any other fish we decide to buy.

What an amazing place. Obviously this is a aquatics shop with a range of pond and aquarium equipment, but they are also open as a kind of attraction to take the kids to see the massive range of tropical fish available here. Family run business with a huge wealth of knowledge in the company. Amazing visits every time, and always top grade fish! Good job guys.

Customer care was poor. I spent about 20mins in there looking for a filter not one person asked if I needed help even after talking loud enough for them to know, I felt uncomfortable to even ask for help. there was only one lady that greeted me on arrival the rest looked very much out of place. I wont be visiting this shop again.

A terrible shop they don't understand people who have special needs they just enjoy slagging people with special needs off they don't have patience for complete beginners who haven't got a clue what they are doing they just have a go at you for every mistake you make and don't give good advice worst shop for fish in the west midlands they have attitude problems instead of helping they just criticise
