Just arrived home from kick up the 80s what a fantastic gig it was , unfortunately our night was spoiled by rude security staff , the big fella that stamps your hand on entry. We arrived and unfortunately I had mistakenly deleted my email of proof of ticket purchase, I gave my name to the owners son who confirmed my two tickets were down on the entry sheet . Whilst I was talking to the gentleman, the security intervened and ask me to stand back ? How rude and I suggest this security guy needs lessons in manners . Later in the evening my partner went to.the bar to purchase bottle water , to be told they had sold out ( fair enough was busy ). She asked for tap water , to be told that would be 40p for a pint . By law in England & Wales tap water should be provided free of charge on request, robin sort yourselves out , because your not above the law !!!

Went to see the Beatles tribute on Christmas Eve 2022. The band were fantastic but the venue seems to be in decline. Despite buying several pints I was refused tap water by management which is breaking the law. The carpets were stickier than ever and the pints were Birmingham prices. Used to love this place but will stay with the Riverrooms in Stourbridge from now on.

Another Brilliant night at the Bon Giovi gig, 4th November 2023. This place is fully recommended for a fantastic night out. Fraser (the new owner) is a down-to-earth guy and very friendly. See you soon!

Went last night the so called owner had attitude towards people he told one of us no football shirts he ruined our night we were told to get there early if you want to get a seat we did and was told to be early the guy didn't know how to smile I loved this place but I will never spend another penny here again we were at the front of the queue and the guy though he was better than us and sent us outside but he let others to the front make of my review what you like but a lot of people were saying how he come across as arrogant. And I appreciate he has spent 100s so of thousands of pounds on the place but he needs to learn some manners. Overall the place is fantastic. Just 16 of us had our night ruined by his attitude. But 10 /10 for the venue.

We booked The Robin very last minute after being let down by another accommodation. The room was very basic, however it was the comfiest sleep in a great bed, spotlessly clean and the girl at reception could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again. Thank you @the robin

Venue is nice and intimate for gigs. Drinks are cheap. It's quite dated however this is reflected in the low prices, you can't have it both ways I know πŸ™‚

Went here for a charity gig after years of not going here. The layout has changed somewhat and they now serve food outside to the rear although in this instance we didn't have anything. The acoustics are brilliant and if you want to forget this world for a few hours then it's quite easy to do so. Staff are brilliant, they've got tables and benches now which is a blessing for us older people.

This venue is a classic staple in the West Midlands! Possibly my favourite in the area. Seen some great bands here, had some great nights playing here too with my band! Can't complain!

An overnight stay after seeing the band Dare that was showing in the same venue, Dee was very friendly when booking in and helpful. We was lucky to get a room only 8 available for the price it was great for a one night stay room's are basic. White bedding and towels was spotless. Very convenient if you're at the Robin venue entertaining, but don't expect a lot. Rooms have shower & toilet + tea making facilities. They're clean (ish) but very basic. No breakfast available either. Car park at back of venue is also OK to leave your car overnight - despite what the car park signs say. Double bed in my room had collapsed mattress on one side - hard one side & sunk on the other. Very uncomfortable nights sleep tbh! Very pleasant staff but receptionist gave us the wrong gate codes. Only discovered this at 1am when trying to get back in. Fortunately, someone inside saw us & let us back in. Otherwise, could have been locked out all night! Maybe that's why someone was banging an external door like crazy at 3am... & woke me up!!

Never been before, great venue. Spacious, friendly bar staff and a great stage. The Vapors supported by Humdrum Express and Pure Gold Babies. Β£13.00 total bargain and will be back for Spike, UK Subs and gutted I missed Toyah.

I love the Robin2, I have been there lots of times, I have seen lots of shows since my first visit for the Trevor Burton benefit show. My only regret is that I didn't discover this venue years ago.πŸ‘

Went for a gig. They were a little late starting but it was a great gig. Little bit of a line for drinks but they have a great variety of drinks, and enough seating and standing space. I've been there a few times.

Didn't stay at the hotel. But the Robin 2 club is excellent. The staff ate friendly and helpful as I am in a wheelchair. They even have a section of the bar that is a lot lower for wheelchair users which I find brilliant πŸ‘
