My mental health is really suffering at present. I called early in this morning having been waiting in the queue for 35 minutes to be told there are no appointments left for today. I than asked if I could make an appointment for another day and the receptionist said no, you must call in the morning. What happens if I call in the mornings and can never get an appointment, what happens then? This is causing me more anxiety!!!

I only gave 2 stars just because the lady receptionist from Audiology department, everytime when I call this lady always not in good mood she is answering like I have distracted her from other things. Not healpfull at all. Always not gave enough time to be able to explain what I have to... Just awful 😞

I arrived on time for my appointment, there was no one at the reception, for 15 mins. , than when they arrive , they seem very un bothered. Send me to my location and ahead they say after waiting 1 hr that it was your fault for being late to the appointment so you have to wait. The negligence of the staff and behaviour is appalling, and have never been to a place that was so un professional in my life.

Been a patient here for around 12 years. The nurses are brilliant, the GPs aren't the best in terms of empathy. Some receptionists are nice, some are rude. All balances out I guess. Convenient that it has lots of departments in one place. Parking is free for an hour and a half.

Not really happy with the Lyng as I’ve never had a problem going here before, I understand due to covid-19 there’s been a lot of changes but I’ve been ringing and ringing to get a appointment for my implant to be removed as it’s becoming very uncomfortable and it’s expired, keep getting told I will receive a call on a set date but I never get a call. I’ve called them to make sure they have the right number but still no call or appointments. Everywhere I’ve called keep telling me to call the Lyng but I’m not getting anywhere at all.

Awful Doctors no appointments for 3 days straight. Phone lines busy and max queue 8am. Oh use a walk in or dial 111 alternatively come to the surgery for 8am. This is no good to someone who works from 7am

Booked an on line appointment for 3.40pm, no joy so called at 4pm and was put into a queue and at 48 mins was next in line and at 60 mins the phone went dead. Had this problem last month, they are a joke. Changing doctors

Visited Audiology. The team we saw were amazing. Empathetic and understanding and my relative came away with new hearing aids which will have a positive impact to them day to day. Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is the receptionist in audiology. She was impatient and shouted rudely repeating her request. When working in audiology where patients are likely to be there as they have problems with hearing plus a screen to listen through I think she could be a little more understanding. I have full hearing and I didn’t hear her original request either.

Receptionists always have an attitude especially in the family planing department, don't want to feel judged the moment they awnser the phone, I have opted twice now to remove my contraception at home then go here. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Appointment visit for blood test. I was told parking was free but on returning to my car I received a warning notice about parking which was a little worrying because I still have no idea with what I had done wrong. The staff in the Lyng were very polite and helpful.

Why when I ring your phones are always switched off. I’ve been trying to make an appointment all day and the phones are off but they say there open online.

I went there this morning for blood test. My appointment was for 8.15am. I was there at 8.05am and I was seen more or less straight away. Phlebotomist was lovely. I even joked with her that my blood was flowing like a fine bottle of red wine - which is unusual for me as normally trying to get blood from me is like trying to get blood from a stone!! She laughed about that. Great service.

Would give 0 stars if I had the option to do so. Over an hour on the phone to try book an appointment, got down to position 1 and was just ringing out for another 15 minutes, before being cut off altogether. This is a regular occurrence, and you wonder why patients get angry with the receptionist. ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!

Writing on behalf of my partner, Staff are polite but getting an appointment is like winning the lottery, you physically can’t get one unless your very lucky on that day!

Whenever we call at 8 or even start calling before it always says the capacity is full please call later. We can never get an appointment l, not sure what to do and how to speak to a doctor especially when need to discuss about something serious.

Lyng centre for Health and social care , a purpose built facility to serve local community right at the centre of West Bromwich, Birmingham. The centre accommodate more than one GP surgeries and other NHS services. Ambience in and around the centre is above average compare to other local facilities of Sandwell. Ample parking space which is free for couple of hours.

Called up to get my repeat prescription and 3 hours and 30 minutes later I’m still on the phone in a queue… absolutely ridiculous. If there was a choice to show photos I would.

The receptionist staff are always friendly and happy to help. Dr Arora is helpful and listens carefully with patience. He’s always very supportive of our needs.

Excellent service with friendly staff but there is one point that I’d like to mention. Many people wait outside the door for taxi’s or lifts from family or friends. Why can’t you put a bench or two for people waiting, many of whom are older or have medical issues which make standing an uncomfortable experience. Benches would be a much welcomed addition.

The service here is horrible especially when it comes to mental health they are literally the worst a doctor literally laughed at my mental circumstances they try to stop you from getting help because of there only ignorance they don’t recognise how much they harm people with this type of behaviour.
