I
don't
think
I've
ever
written
a
bad
review
for
a
business
before,
so
this
will
be
my
first.
I
went
into
this
shop
for
the
first
time
today,
having
just
got
a
dog.
First,
I
will
say
that
the
space
is
incredibly
cramped,
and
there
was
so
much
stuff
piled
up
in
one
of
the
aisles.
Then,
I
decided
to
have
a
look
around
at
the
fish
in
the
various
tanks.
On
my
way
into
a
side
room
with
some
tanks
in
it,
I
did
not
see
that
there
was
a
large
step
down
(probably
about
10
inches),
and
I
fell…hard.
My
knee
is
pretty
badly
scraped
and
bruised.
I
got
up
and
looked
to
see
if
there
was
any
kind
of
sign
that
warned
people
that
there
was
a
step,
and
there
wasn't.
The
floor
on
both
sides
of
the
step
are
the
same
colour,
and
I
also
thought
that,
if
other
people
with
poorer
eye
sight
than
mine
were
to
come
in,
they
might
also
miss
the
step
and
really
hurt
themselves,
especially
if
they
are
elderly.
So,
I
decided
to
say
something
to
one
of
the
employees
about
it.
All
she
said
was,
"Okaaaay."
No
"I'm
so
sorry!"
or
even
a
"Are
you
okay?"
I
decided
that
I
was
a
bit
unsatisfied
with
her
response,
simply
because
she
seemed
entirely
unconcerned
and
unsympathetic.
So,
I
called
the
shop
when
I
got
home
and
asked
to
speak
with
a
manager.
The
man
with
whom
I
spoke
was
also
very
dismissive.
He
said,
"I've
worked
here
for
a
couple
of
years
now,
and
we've
never
had
a
complaint
like
yours."
He
said,
"I
don't
know
what
you
want.
I
mean,
I
can
put
up
a
sign;
that's
only
like
five
minutes
of
my
time."
He
later
went
on
to
say,
"Well,
we've
been
open
for
29
years,
and
no
one
else
has
fallen,
so
it's
probably
more
on
you."
He
then
denied
that
he'd
said
it
(I
wish
I'd
been
recording
the
conversation
to
play
it
back
to
him).
Again,
there
was
no
"I'm
sorry
that
happened"
and
no
question
of
whether
or
not
I
was
okay.
He
also
kept
interrupting
me
as
I
was
speaking.
They
may
think
that
it
was
entirely
my
fault,
and
to
be
fair,
I
can
be
a
little
clumsy
at
times.
However,
I
told
both
of
these
employees
that
I
had
no
plans
to
sue
or
otherwise
take
it
any
further;
all
I
wanted
was
to
make
sure
they
took
the
complaint
seriously
and
that
they
would
do
something
about
it.
Every
business
I
have
ever
been
in
that
had
a
step
like
theirs
has
had
a
sign
that
said
"Mind
your
step."
I
do
think
it
was
irresponsible
of
them
not
to
have
one.
I
usually
try
to
shop
at
local
businesses,
but
I
must
say
that
this
incident,
especially
the
attitudes
of
the
employees
following
the
incident,
has
put
me
off.
I
will
not
be
shopping
there
again
in
the
future.
