A treasure trove of a store with a great relaxed atmosphere that brings out the spender in you even if you had no intention of splashing out. The stock they hold is comprehensive on many levels for even the most discerning of collectors. There's something for everyone and visiting is well worth it even if just to find something new. Parking is opposite the store and cheap enough for a city centre.

Used to love coming to this store when it was in the old location although I know that location had its faults especially accessibility wise and the new location is a lot more accessible and spaced out , and the old store had a good collection of different items , but since it’s been moved we’ve been super disappointed with the lack of stock especially the lack of table top board games which we used to love coming to browse in the old store , now it’s just mostly funky pops and loungefly bags , if you like that sort of thing then fair enough but doesn’t seem an awful lot of anything else unfortunately , and just is not how it used to be . Heard others whilst in the store commenting similar things , also the guys on the till just seem zoned out and pretty unfriendly , and several times we’ve been in and heard them talking negatively to each other about other people they work with which is just rude when serving a customer . I think the Birmingham store is just way superior to this one

Vast range of comics, graphic novels, and anime related paraphernalia. Mostly stuff that you can find cheaper online though, but out of convenience it is good for browsing and buying the odd item.

Choc full of everything you could want! A whole wall dedicated to Funko Pops if that’s your thing; comics & graphic novels from floor to ceiling… a geeks dream! Personally, not enough Star Wars merch but plenty of other stuff catered for.

I have to say I much preferred the shop in it's older location it had much more of a independent vibe to it,very much a hang out space for comic and manga enthusiasts, the new location has downsized considerably all the great stock that gave forbidden planet such a unique atmosphere...I do find it concerning that pop figures are starting to take up the majority of shelf space in store with each passing year....

Good space shop and grate for wheelchair access and lot to look at and chose from but unfortunately they have lost star for price of things in the shop are to high and cheaper online and floor was sticky like it’s not be clean in ages or someone spilled something they didn’t clean up. But good shop and good figure.

I've been coming here a long long long time. It's the go to place for gifts and presents for many of my friends/family. The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable about all the products they sell and the media franchises they represent. If you're a nervous parent you'll find the staff very welcoming and will be able to answer any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, and then advise you in choosing something suitable within your budget.

The shop has a reasonable range of graphic novels and new comic books, with a few back issues available. It also has ton of Manga and acres of plastic toys. There's a friendly team of staff with a good knowledge of their stock. It's currently one of the very few reasons to bother visiting Wolverhampton.

Very cool place, maybe in years time it will expand and get more manga and light novels like Classroom of The Elite or Konosuba! Other than that it's got the main ones and a couple underrated ones too! There are also plushies and cups that you can buy which is cool.

First time visiting the other day. Really nice, clean store. A lot of different variety compared to other forbidden planets in the area (Birmingham). Nice selection of Gunpla.

Overcrowded, too hot, overall though quality products are wonderful. Geekcon was on in the main centre so that would be the reason why it was overcrowded.

Love the store, they have a good variety of products. I do miss the other store just due to the fact their manga collection had reduced massively- but it's nice to see it being busier and getting the custom they deserve 😊

An interesting store, bit of a down grade from the old store they had. I'm disappointed however that I couldn't find anything related to Mr Osomatsu an awesome anime I watched on Crunchyroll The doctor who Daleks they had on sale looked like abominations, would be nice if they got more doctor who stuff in. Oh and More Seven deadly sins stuff would be cool.

It's good now that it has moved ' and now wheelchair users can now get in' but in my opinion and mine only it is that it has one or two Dr Who items and in my opinion that is very bad well I am a Dr Who fantastic so I would say that

Have been going to this store since I was a teen (I'm now 35) and have always loved it. The old store was sentimental for me, but the new store is amazing and looks great. The products are brilliant, and they have a great range of items for many interests. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and helpful - the customer service has remained to a high standard all these years. Also, the short, bald guy with the beard who works there is quite fit.

I came into the store after seeing a Star Wars post on tic toc which he adores and knew it was the right thing to do for my son, I got him the most marvellous gift for Christmas. In fact I saw the lady with the beautiful golden hair on the video and it was like seeing a celebrity, I was chuffed. Everyone was so engaged and chatty, unlike the pound land where you get grunted at. I told the kind man who served me I was going to go on and write a review. so here I am. It's a wonderful store, full of treasures and a very enjoyable shopping experience will be back for my son's birthday. - Seasons Greetings, Mary-Annette
