I went to tour this facility and spoke to 2 different employees, who told me they had availability. The facility itself is a bit dated however much better than what we are currently experiencing. I started the process to transfer my loved one and then got a call from some very rude women who told me it wouldn't happen for a few days. I waited 3 days, nobody called me, so I called back and got the same rude person, who then told me they had no availability. When I toured this facility there were several empty rooms. So this is because my loved one doesn't have the right insurance. So this facility could look like a castle and I would rate it less than one star, due to unprofessionalism and discrimination for not being wealthy. Shame on you HEIDI!!!!!

PLS DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONE THERE. My father fell twice, left in urine overnight, passed out from dehydration, bugs, and the staff are clueless.

I've given this facility months to return my many many calls. And they have not. They administered medication without consent and when negative reactions resulted and we asked what changed they said that nothing new or different had happened that day or the days prior. Weeks later we found paper work in a pile of dirty clothes they handed us that showed they not only lied but that it was given without approval from the medical proxy and power of attorney. The medical assistants and Alex the PT were amazing Nurses, specifically Anna were cold and unapproachable

Jersey shore rehab is a great place to put your love ones when they are not able to be home. The staff is caring and supportive. I like all the services that are provided by this facility. They have doctors who are able to do consults on patients who need extra help. When I need help I reach out to the director of nursing or the administrator who take time to answer all my questions.

Very clean facility. Have had a few instances where gross negligence by staff was experienced. One time my mother was left passed out in the heat outside unattended!! Also, something needs to be done about the inconsistent delivery times of their meals. Furthermore, being at the end of hall, meal is later and often times cold and missing an item due to running out. If one of your loved ones were nearing their end of life, wouldn't you want for a better, more comfortable ending? If it weren't for my sister, her daughter, none of these issues would EVER be addressed. Even then, does not assure that it will be rectified.

Jersey Shore Center (Genesis) is an excellent facility. My sister has been there for several months and is receiving superb care. The staff is very professional and caring and takes any new development very seriously by informing me anytime day or night. Reggie (a male nurse) among many nurses and aides, stands out with his most respectful and caring demeanor. He’s so kind and never too busy to listen to many of my concerns. My sister, Marina praises him highly and I’m always comforted after talking with him. Genesis is great and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate and caring facility.

My grandmother has been at this center, my family and I can only say positive things. The staff is very professional, but also friendly and compassionate.

I had my loved one stay here for rehab following the hospitalization. The staff was outstanding to making sure our needs were met. The nursing staff made sure all medical information was provided to us up to date and rehab services helped him return home independently. Social services helped us transition him back home and we would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehab.
