I've had takeout from here 3 times. The first time it was amazing. The second time it was bad. The third time was mediocre. The quality has fallen off a lot from the beginning. On my 2nd order, the tandoori chicken was dry and overcooked, it practically cracked apart, and all of the food tasted old. That order was a Sunday morning so I suspect it was older cooked food that was reheated on Sunday morning. On my recent third order on a Saturday evening, the food was again poorly prepared. Attached an image or "Hariyali Chicken" which is cooked in their tandoori oven. I'm not sure how the chicken could be this white and greasy with stringy bits after being cooked in a tandoor oven.

We have been looking for an Indian restaurant ever since we moved from New York and have finally found it. This is it, the search is over. The food was super delicious! Everything we ordered was amazing. Service was top notch and all servers were friendly and attentive. One of the owners came over and introduced himself and told us the history of the restaurant. Super nice! You get a lot of food too, we had some leftovers and ordered more to go. We will be back real soon and recommend this place to everyone!

Went for a dine-in experience. Loved the service. Staff were kind and friendly. 5/5 Tried Hyderabad chicken curry 5/5, Garlic naan 5/5 and Special Chicken biryani 4/5. Everything tasted delicious and portions were good enough for 2 ppl. Got Qubani ka meeta 2/5, for togo and it’s not upto the mark and not sure if I’ll try it again. Prices are reasonable. 5/5 Totally recommend this place and will be back.

Had a great experience at Hyderabad Spice! I’ve been to this restaurant years ago, so walking back in was quite a surprise. It’s now under new ownership, and one of the owners stopped by to tell us about how they replaced all the walls, flooring, and seating. We also learned a bit about how the spices for the biryani are made in house, which brings me to this point: definitely get the biryani. We had the Paneer Biryani (med spicy) and it was great! We also ordered one in mild, but that wasn’t as flavorful (for our group). We had a Samosa Chaat, which tasted great as well. And finally we also ordered some Paneer Bhurji and garlic naan. The naan was soft, perfectly warm, and really flavorful. This is definitely somewhere I’d come back to.

Amazing food, it was my first time here and will definitely come back here again. Will also recommend this place to my friends and family. Service was great. Food was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Best thing I had (which is not something usual) is Chetinnad Chicken. Must try, it is a very unique dish.

This place has been on our radar for a long time and guess, the search for delicious Hyderabadi Dum Biryani ends here for now. An impromptu plan to go out for dinner on a gloomy sunday evening was much needed and this was the best decision we took to dine out at Hyderabad Spice. It all started with a very warm welcome by Mr. Satish Reddy, one of the co-owners, who stopped by our table to chat with us and this did give a great start to the dining experience at HS. We wanted to try out options from the wide spectrum of offerings, they had on the menu and ended up ordering Samosa Chaat & Tandoori Chicken for our starters. Samosa Chaat: Absolutely loved the varied flavors of this dish, an array of Sweet, Sour & Tangy flavors ready to tantalize the taste buds. Findings a good plate of Samosa Chaat is always tough and this did not disappoint at all. Tandoori Chicken: Imagining Tandoori Chicken without the overload of red color is always a dream and guess, these guys know that very well. Succulent pieces of chicken laced with perfect marinade, cooked to perfection. I could not stop myself from devouring the delicious goodness of this amazing Tandoori Chicken. All it took was few moments, before I went from Fork & Knife to using my fingers to dig into this delicious Tandoori Chicken. Sorry KFC, this was the Actual FINGER LICKIN' GOOD Chicken. What started on a high note went a few notches higher with the Round 2 of the Order, Special Chicken Biryani, Egg Biryani and Chicken Hakka Noodles. Chicken Hakka Noodles: Kids absolutely loved the Noodles, only grouse wish it was less soggy. Said that, kids cleaned out the bowl and that was their STAMP of APPROVAL for this dish. Egg Biryani: Seldom seen places make the Egg Biryani the right way. All the places I order Egg Biryani till date were few boiled eggs dumped into the Biryani Rice, lacking the flavors it should have. The Egg Biryani at Hyderabad Spice was way different as compared to the other places. Perfectly Sauteed Boiled Eggs with flavors seeped was the star of this dish. Every time I sliced into the egg, the flavors were deep ingrained in the egg. I can go on and on about this dish... to cut it short, this was EPIC and I would love to go back again for this. Special Chicken Biryani: Delicious Chicken Biryani filled till the brim with Special Chicken 65 RRR, which was a delicious twist to the iconic biryani. Overall, loved the food and the hospitality at this place. Kudos to Mr. Satish Reddy for making everyone feel welcomed. This is the first of many more visits to come in future.

Was craving Indian food for dinner and noticed this place had a 4.8 rating so expectations were high. I’m not sure why this restaurant has such a high rating. Ordered the saag paneer and goat vindaloo. Saag paneer was extremely watery and the goat vindaloo was mostly carrots and cardamom. Should’ve just taken the drive over to Edison instead for better Indian food.

We were visiting from out of state and had a big family dinner here. Everything was fantastic! The chicken tikka (pictured here) was well cooked and flavorful. We jumped in to the rest of the food so quickly cause it looked amazing; forgot to take pictures of course. Very friendly service too. Look forward to coming back again!
