Beautiful restaurant. From the moment you drive up its so nice. It's also a catering hall so it's huge and luxurious. The service was impeccable and courteous. Food was great and the Bartender knows how to make a cocktail. Highly recommended.

Patrick Lopez was my wedding planner, from the moment we spoke he reassured me that my wedding would be over the top, well he told the truth. Patrick is professional, caring, patient knowledgeable, precise and welcoming. Patrick and his staff executed my whole wedding with easy and sophistication, the warm and sincere words at the ceremony were beautiful. Now the food is above good it's excellent, exceptional and delicious this is just the cocktail hour when I tell you the main entrees exceed the cocktail hour without exaggerating It was exquisite, the venue has a palace feel like royalty, to any bride/groom looking for a venue Villaggio will not disappoint you, I really want to get marry again just relieved that experience. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Il Villaggio about two months ago, and we’re so pleased with our venue selection. From the moment we first stepped into the building, we were impressed by the atmosphere. The ballroom is beautiful, and didn’t require much else in terms of decor. It was also wonderful that the ballroom had LED lights built in, so we didn’t need to worry about those, either. Patrick was so helpful from the beginning, and it’s obvious he’s a seasoned professional when it comes to weddings. He also truly cares about both the wedding couple and the guests enjoying themselves, and it shows. Il Villaggio does only one event at a time, so the staff was focused entirely on making our event the best it could possibly be. The day of our wedding, the staff regularly checked on us if we needed anything. It also seemed like our guests really liked the waitstaff as well. My husband and I were concerned we wouldn’t get to eat much at the reception, but the staff was already ahead of us. Shortly after we arrived, Gloria brought us a spread of most of the cocktail hour food to eat in the bridal suite. For dinner, we got all three of our chosen entrees, and we were given takeout containers for anything we didn’t finish. The food was all delicious (my husband is still raving about the Little Havana station in particular), and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Il Villaggio provided fantastic value for the money, and the staff is top notch. We’re so grateful to Il Villaggio for helping make our wedding day a success, and we highly recommend them for anyone wanting to hold an event.

we stumbled upon this place and it is so kitchy and old school. the service is outstanding. the drinks come really quickly and the waiter is always there when you need them. red velvet seats, super high ceilings, very crowded early on a Saturday night. The banquettes are super comfy. outstanding tuna delicious! veal super large portions on glasses of wine. really enjoyed it.

We come to Il Villaggio for late lunch early dinner and drinks every couple of weeks and we love the place. Dennis the Chef is just the best there is and the bartender Jimmy is always very welcoming to everyone. Friday August 11, 2023 we had our wedding reception here so I am writing a review to cover that. We eloped in April and decided to have a family celebration so we met with Chris who handles all of the weddings. Chris and his staff made themselves available whenever we needed anything. To answer questions, aid and assisting hiring vendors, panning menus, decor etc. This is a very well oiled machine that the Owner Ralph has put together. Our guests commented over and over again how elegant the setting is here. Ours was a more intimate crowd of 57 guests, however, they absolutely accommodate large full scale weddings in their grand ballroom which is also very warm and well appointed. Very inviting and elegant. The staff was on target all evening long from the servers, to my bridal attendant Angie, the bartender Steven, the Maitre D Leoand of coarse Chris and Dennis all doing their special part to make us feel like family. Our entire family raved about the food too. We had a five hour continuous cocktail party with vast food choices from around the globe. Aside from what we would love which is a lot of Italian delicacies, we had a Southern Comfort Station and a Havana Station that the guests went crazy for. They added a unique twist with different food choices. Every table we visited the plates were full of different foods everyone was trying. Guests said this was the most unqique selection and they could not decide so they ate as mush as they could have everything. First hour featured a raw bar of oysters, clams and shrimp that were fantastic. Lots of chafing dishes eggplant rollotini, sausage and broccoli rabe, meats, chicken IlVillaggio, pastas, salads, antipasto's, mozzarella, lamb chops, spanakopita, egg rolls, shrimp tempura, coconut shrimp etc. etc. The list seemed endless. The nest four hours were caring stations, homemade pastas, sides, the specialty stations, veal, chicken beef, prime rib you name it. All along keeping the bar flowing. The entire evening of music by Phil and Mary from NY Sound Machine was awesome, the photographer David Miller made sure to capture the festivities, the cake from Callandra's in Fairfield was fresh strawberries and whip cream just delicious! This was a night we and our family and friends will never forget, thank. you for making our dream wedding so perfect from the beginning of the planning process to the end! And we did this in a very short window thanks to Il Villaggio. Photos to follow...

Recently had a private dinner here for my mom's 60th and I can't say enough great things about the food, but most especially the staff and the service we received! Given the rise in COVID cases, my mom was very uneasy about the thought of indoor dining, but we couldn't let her 60th go by without a proper celebration. The staff was soooo accommodating and they were so attentive with the service. Food was excellent and my mom really enjoyed herself. Thank you so much, Il Villaggio for making this so special for her (and for us!)

Shout out to Chris the manager for accommodating me as the DJ for the wedding event this past Sunday. The event went well and the service rendered was good. Thanks for making my first time playing at this venue enjoyable.

The atmosphere is fantastic! We got our drinks in 2 minutes after we ordered🤷‍♂️! Waiters were very knowledgeable and fast responding! Food exceeded my expectations. 5 stars

We went here for the first time for a very special day. It was my son's college graduation and we went with family after the ceremony To celebrate. The food was phenomenal, the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back!

This place is so stunning! Came for a graduation party and was blown away by the service- especially the bartenders. I asked for a mojito and he ran to get some mint right away (the mojito was delicious too). The service was very attentive and kind and the food was delicious. My filet was cooked perfectly and the pasta was definitely Al-dente. Would really recommend this spot for a party if you’re looking!

We booked our wedding on May 2020 then covid happened. We talked to Patrick to moved our date to September 2020 and he was very understanding and granted our request without any changes to our contract. Because of the restrictions, from 185 guests we went down to 60 guests. He was kind enough to only charge us for the 60 and kept our credit for future use. At first, we were worried that we won’t be able to use it. But 2 years later, we got in touch with Patrick and ask if we could use the credit for our son’s first birthday. Without hesitation, he said yes instantly and accomodated all our request. Patrick and his crew gave us an outstanding service on both our wedding and son’s birthday and both events turned out perfectly. All of our guests loved the place and the food. Patrick and his crew are very professional, accomodating and very friendly at the same time. This place deserves more than 5 star! If you are looking for a place to have an event, we highly recommend you check this place out and talk to Patrick!

8/5/2022 Had the best day of my life with Il Villaggio, and specifically Patrick, hosting my wedding. From first touring the venue to all of the follow-up meetings, Patrick was always so real with us and doesn’t try to sell what’s unnecessary. All of our questions were answered with years of experience and being my own wedding planner, I was able to trust him and his staff to execute my vision. He officiated our ceremony, cocktail hour was the best buffet, and dinner shocked guests who did not expect it to be so impressive. The ballroom is glorious and the whole night felt like an absolute dream. I truly felt like a princess, was able to let go of all the little stressful details, and enjoy my day. No one wanted the party to end, and our guests continue to say that it was one of the best weddings ever. We thank Patrick, our Maitr’d Leo, and our sweet bridal attendant Yvetta for everything!!

Il Bellagio is not only the best, it is the only one, unsurpassed in quality in every sense of the word, from the kitchen, waiters, parking, very polite people who are always willing to help you have the best of experiences. I celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday and I have nothing more to say that I had the most pleasant experience, everything turned out like a dream. Thank you, long live "Il Bellagio"

I loved the place, the atmosphere, the service, my mother, all the waiters are super good, the bartender is a sweetheart, and of course, I will return. I am a lover of good service and good food, and Italian food will always have a special space in me. stomach.

We just attended a party last Saturday . The waitress assigned to our table needs more training. All tables got bread , we asked her to bring some. She said she will ask. ??? What does it mean ??? Then brought small sliced bread that 10 people has to share. Meanwhile the other tables are getting whole bread. Other tables got coffee when the cake was served. I waited so long until I have to knock in the kitchen and found the our waitress standing there. So I asked her why she’s not serving coffee. She was not happy that I had to ask. After a few minutes she came out and just gave us the sugar and left, I saw her standing again In The corner no signs of giving us the cream, should I ask for the cream too??? and seems like she’s not gonna come back to serve the cream, so again , I have to go and get it. service was very poor. The food would have been better if the portion is ok, it was served so late only to get 3 strips of what they called steak??

Il Villaggio always has a huge selection of delicious specials on top of their many menu choices. I typically enjoy their generous portions of fresh fish, which was happily prepared in the health conscious way I requested. I especially loved their lobster salad, which had a whole lobster, out of the shell, sliced, and reassembled on a bed of greens. Service is warmly attentive and professional. Desserts are excellent, too, with my favorites being the tartufo and in-house made tiramisu. It's also worth noting that the restaurant is in an impressive building dedicated entirely to the restaurant. Overall, it is an outstanding restaurant.

Had my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here. This was a destination weekend celebration for us and we were not disappointed. Fantastic food, atmosphere and making everyone feel special; can't recommend this place more!

Disappointing! We went for Christmas Eve for a nice, relaxing, night out and unfortunately it was not at all. The staff was rude and disorganized delivered the wrong meals, drinks, even argumentative, they just could not get it right. It felt as if the plates were thrown together with little thought from the kitchen, Overall a terrible experience and understanding it’s a busy time of year, it doesn’t excuse this level of poor service. I would not go back again with so many other restaurant options in the area.
