Macy’s
is
THE
hub
of
Herald
Square.
With
so
many
departments
and
floors,
you
are
guaranteed
to
find
something
to
take
home-
even
if
you
promise
yourself
that
you’re
just
browsing
the
store.
Although
you
can
easily
shop
online,
there’s
nothing
like
actually
touching
the
fabric
of
that
great
jacket,
trying
on
those
super
cute
boots,
or
having
that
great
fragrance
spritzed
on
you
so
you
can
smell
extra
fancy
and
high
class
while
shopping
for
your
children
or
your
man.
(FYI-
the
Men’s
department
is
phenomenal!).
Check
online
beforehand
because
the
prices
are
unbeatable
when
shopping
during
a
sale
at
Macy’s!
As
a
native
New
Yorker,
I
make
it
a
mission
to
bring
my
mom
to
Macy’s
every
year
to
view
the
Holiday
window
displays.
Each
year,
there
is
a
new
theme-
and
they
are
as
beautifully
creative
as
mesmerizing-
to
both
children
and
adults.
If
you’re
visiting
NYC,
definitely
stop
by
West
34th
St,
and
swing
by
Macy’s.
Especially
during
the
Holiday
season!
They
actually
decorate
the
windows
and
interior
for
different
seasons
and
occasions,
so
depending
on
when
you
visit,
you’ll
get
a
one-of-a-kind
view
of
the
store.
Even
if
you
don’t
buy
anything,
there
are
cafés
upstairs-
tons
of
items
to
inspire-
and
the
old
wooden
escalators
that
are
definitely
reminiscent
of
Macy’s
younger
days
(my
mom
calls
them
the
“Titanic
Stairs.”
😂
🚢).
They
are
eerily
fascinating-
and
feel
like
you’re
on
a
museum
ride!
✨
There
is
outdoor
seating
available.
And
lastly,
there
are
restrooms
throughout
the
store
open
to
the
public.
Because
when
you’re
shopping
in
NYC,
these
are
ALWAYS
important
to
locate.
