We discovered this gem while looking for a local place to have brunch. The service was impressive and the food was amazing. From the starting plate with the assorted croissants, to the amazingly tasty assortment of butters, we were pleasantly impressed. Will definitely be visiting this place and enjoy authentic French cuisine and ambiance! Oh, and definitely try the crème brûlée! It’s out of this world! Lorena’s Restaurant is the best.👌❤️

FOOD NOW Is SUBPAR, we’ve been going to this restaurant for 15-20 years to celebrate our Anniversary every year, Pre COVID. Here we are celebrating our Anniversary at the new location. this is our first time visiting new location. The level of service , experience, atmosphere Food Everything! Horrible! They Fell so much off that it is Astonishing! My food was inedible! How can you have olives and Glutino crackers that you can get from ShopRite, as an appetizer at a fine restaurant? Really? Ultimate Fail! 👎 We were So dissatisfied disappointed ! Ruined our Anniversary! had nothing but glutino crackers to eat. Manager came to table . told him how I felt,, he did nothing! I don’t really care, we paid for my husbands meal which he also communicated was not the same We just left! Good thing we went to the Polo Bar in NYC yesterday ! Now This is a fine restaurant! This place here Lorena’s clearly IS NOT!!! ! This is one the same caliber as Bonefish now! We WILL NEVER Be BACK!! 🤢🤮

What an amazing restaurant!!! We hosted my sister's bridal shower lunch here and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with events at restaurants. Jose, the manager, and his staff were very courteous and the food + desserts were AMAZIIIING!!! We all had clean plates at the end. ❤❤❤

The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly. The oysters were not as fresh as expected but distinct to the taste. The main entrees were good. My wife had the Salmon toast. The onions could have been cut in half instead of a whole slice to balance out the flavors. Beside that the presentation and taste were spot on. I had the petite ribeye frites medium rare but came out medium well. The butter on top of the steak is a little over powering with the blue cheese if you let it melt completely. My son had the macaroni and cheese which was very good. Onto dessert, we had creme brulee and the raspberry cheese cake. Out of the two, the creme brulee was the best which took us by surprise since it did not look like your typical brulee but the coffee flavor paired with the white chocolate crunch was delightful. The cocktails were delicious and carefully curated. Over all it was a great experience paired nicely with a live jazz band .

We were a party of 8, plus 2 children and went to Lorena's for brunch on a Sunday. The service was good and attentive to all our needs, including helping us with 2 high chairs. The atmosphere was lovely since there was a small jazz band playing during the time we were there. The food was a good quality, but not excellent, where the price doesn't quite match the food delivered. All the food and drinks were delivered in a timely manner, and servers all friendly. Saying that, we would return to eat again.

Oh. My. Goodness. Easily the best meal of my life, and the service was fantastic. Every single person we interacted with was pleasant and eager to help. The ONLY very minor complaint was that the crème brûlée was a little over set. Otherwise everything was absolutely perfect, including the cocktails!

Crazy good. Every single dish was a hit. And there were about 20 in total. It just kept coming. Mind blown. The juice pairing was creative and showed love and care for folks that love great food but cannot or don't want to drink. The kitchen was running like a well oiled machine and it was super fun to get a quick tour around the place. Experiences like this make you grateful to be alive and able to afford this.

Arthur C Clarke said that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". This is how I felt when confronted with the offerings on Geranium's winter menu. Food that is a genuine culinary experience, made up of tiny, laboriously created layers of flavour, some so minor that it defies belief / is indistinguishable from magic. Everything was impeccable, attentive service at every stage, considerate and respectful timing. An introduction to the head chef himself, a spacious restaurant that gave everyone plenty of privacy and room to appreciate the experience. The booking line was remarkably responsive and even accommodated a last minute time change for us. The wine range on offer was stunning. Never before have I felt like my taste buds were exhausted. After this meal I was worried that everything else would seem bland by comparison for the rest of my life. A fantastic, delightful, exceptional, lavish, delectable range of flavours that I've never experienced before and may never again.

Place seems extremely popular and was packed. Expect a wait if you don't have a reservation on peak times. Both the food and drinks were great and the service was quality. Definitely recommend going if you would like to have a nice meal.

When I visited a French restaurant the first thing I try is French toast. I have ordered french toast and it was so delicious and huge portion. The restaurant serves French toast 🍞 during the weekends only at brunch time. I highly recommend this restaurant because it is so classic, and it is suitable for a 👫 date.

I made a reservation Saturday night 3/19 for Sunday lunch 3/20, but I got an email thanking me for dining there for Saturday Lunch. I figured it was a mistake, so we kept our Sunday lunch date. When we arrived the host of course didn't have us on the list for Sunday, but he sat us anyway. We sat down and had a nice lunch even did dessert after having a decent plate of food (I had the pasta with the short ribs, not bad but a little acidic just needed a sweet element to complete the dish. A good time was had by all however the reason for my 3 stars is because our waitress over charged us. No one was drinking at our table, but we still got charged $14 for a drink from the bar, may be an honest mistake but she was way too organized and on point. We didn't even notice the charge until later on Sunday night. I tried calling the restaurant Monday morning, but no one answered. I was there with my kids, husband and mom and we're all tea and cranberry juice drinkers, definitely no alcohol so being charged for a $14 drink is crazy. My husband said it was a cheap lesson, Always Review Your Bill Before Paying because you never know what you're being charged for.

Restaurant Lorena’s is a truly fantastic white table cloth dinner experience. The service and setting was delightful. It felt very upscale but in a welcoming way. The food was creative and flavorful with a unique twist on the classics. I would highly recommend the restaurant if you want a great French inspired restaurant.

I went to Copenhagen in March 2019. I’m posting this in December 2019. I can’t get Geranium out of my head. It was my best meal of the year. A little hard to find. (When the taxi drops you off at the football stadium don’t despair. You’re in the correct place. Go inside. You’ll very quickly forget there’s a stadium attached.) I went for lunch. I dined alone. I’m so glad I did! Incredible culinary experience. Worth every memory.

Really enjoyed the food and the lovely atmosphere, but I would have preferred a slower paced meal. Many people like their food served quickly, and the time between appetizer and main course was too short. I prefer a bit of time to digest, enjoy the company of my companion before my main course as well as time before being asked about dessert

Regular customer for years, have loved the food, staff and have had many fond memories. Unfortunately, Lorena’s is turning into a very expensive Starbucks. Dining experience is as important to me as the food. While trying to enjoy an evening out, a patron decided to put her laptop next to me and proceed to conduct a 30 minute interview with M&T Bank. I asked the hostess, bartender and even Chef Umberto if they allow this behavior, apparently they do. Totally unacceptable for a legendary establishment.

Brilliant with endlessly luring flavors, some from my childhood, but many a first for me. The simplistical and easy approach to modernity yet rooted in tradition. My Mother and I were thrilled.

Went here recently and it was good. The portions are good size for individual. We ordered some appetizers to share. Their salmon tartare is good, the butternut squash hummus was delicious, escargot had good flavor, the pork chop was so juicy and flavorful, the duck hmmm so nice, the mushroom soup was very good and the filet mignon was spot on. Would return here again. Cozy town center and street parking.

The food was great and we found the menu pretty exciting with a lot of french favorites. The wine list was really good for the NJ suburbs. Lots of interesting bottles and wines by the glass. I was not impressed when a $20+ red wine by the glass was served in a white wine glass. That's not right if you're trying to portray yourself as a serious restaurant with a serious wine list. We also found some of the decor and furnishings in need of a spruce up. The leather chairs in particular were beat up. Overall a good spot but needs work to be great.

All around great experience. The atmosphere was business casual but welcoming, our waiter Laura was so friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely delicious. I even brought home a dish for my husband, and he can't wait to experience Lorena's for himself. At a time when restaurant quality has fallen off, it's so refreshing to know places like Lorena's still exist! I will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious meal. We got 3 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. We loved every bite. Warm cozy atmosphere in the bar area, yet very chic and upscale decor. Service could not have been any better, everything was seamless. Noise level was incredibly low considering how busy the room was. We drove 45 minutes to try this place out and it was absolutely worth it. Very lovely experience all around.

Perfection! From beginning to end. The bone marrow and crepe starters were both great. The crepe was earthy, rich and buttery and light all at once. The bone marrow !! Chef's kiss. Both are a must-order in my opinion. The salmon was a beautiful marriage of flavors and textures. Ahh and the coffee Panna cotta , nice light ending to the meal even while being 'thanksgiving day' full. Our waitress was super sweet! The cucumber gimlet is very refreshing and a nice starter. I recommend it all.

Lorena’s is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in NJ. Some of my favorite meals the fillet mignon and the pork chop. Soups are very good. The rib eye is ok. I feel like the duck needs improvement. The cheese burger and burrata salad are nice. The cocktails are always good. The butternut squash roast is a very nice vegetarian option. I feel like their complementary bread takes away from the experience, never warm enough so it lacks freshness. Baguettes can be tricky after they are exposed to air for a while. The service is always very good.

Have been here for both lunch and dinner and both times have been excellent experiences. The staff is warm and welcoming and the food is delicious. Particularly spectacular dishes are the Butternut Squash “Steak” (seasonal) and the Seared Hudson Valley Foise Gras. The cocktails were also creative and expertly made. Highly recommend!

This is a good local restaurant on the upscale side. Pretty expensive! Full bar, nice menu and service. A little uncomfortable seating on the booth benches, you are in too deep seating on them. The food is good, it's just nothing special about it. There is no dish that we tried that I want to come back for. All of it is nicely cooked but, escargot was completely under seasoned. The burger was properly cooked but, it didn't' have any crunchy elements like lettuce or onions or tomatoes? The scallops were nice and soft, but the sides were not crunchy at all. I guess if you are going to pay $150 per person you expect much better food, it's a little attention to detail that makes restaurants from being good to being great.

Ooh La La! We loved the food, ambiance, service, and location. A night out or special occasion, this place is a must try! For the exception of the petite ribeye, everything else was amazing. They made up for it with a couple of delicious desserts on the house. It was a happy birthday for me at Lorena's, thank you! We'll be back..

The experience was truly a fine dining experience with professional staff yet a bit of a cold demeanor. The hosts were definitely warm and congenial but the chefs seemed detached from the food they were serving and didn't have a genuine connection with Denmark's food culture. The tastes were complex yet bright so that was a definite plus on the whole evening. Plus, the hosts brought us through the dining room and wine cellar for a tour. Unfortunately, the bread was underbaked which shouldn't happen at a top class restaurant.

Geranium has set a very high bar for restaurants in Copenhagen. Its location at the top of a stadium is interesting and intriguing. The team has managed to make the location work very well. The welcoming crew on the ground floor wasn't expected but was a great human touch to the experience. The dining room was bright, airy and well decorated; tables were well spaced. Most dishes were almost too pretty to be eaten. The starting "autumn leaves" snack was one of the prettiest dishes I have ever seen and eaten. The flavour captured was so intense in a paper-thin tuile. Some dishes were finished at the table which created theatre through the meal. One of the most surprising aspects of the meal was the large number of desserts. I was very concerned when I read the menu however my fears didn't materialise as the desserts weren't mostly not sweet.

(Translated by Google) Apparently forgot to present my review of this gem MIT visit was made for a few years but is still relevant. Tasting menu is well balanced with clear pure flavors where the subtle is the big! The wine package as well as some nature lovers but they played well with the dishes this time, we were served a quiet champagne which was surprisingly good. The dinner contains various elements that make you sit on needles for the next dish! 👌That a dish was served in the kitchen with Paul B. In bronze, silver & gold and team picture with the kitchen brigade is just so good. 🙏

(Translated by Google) An all-round perfect experience. Breathtaking wine list and every course a delight. The service simply puts you in a good mood and a tour of the four kitchens and two guest rooms is a must. it is served in a guest 'kitchen', but little is cooked here - to a large extent this is already happening behind the scenes. But it's still fun to watch and the fact that a different member of the team always serves you a course provides even more entertainment and variety. On a nice day, you are guaranteed a good mood and a perfect day in this light-flooded, bright room with the beautiful real wood furniture alone. Any time. (Original) Ein rundum perfektes Erlebnis. Jederzeit wieder.
