We stayed in this beautiful villa for 5 days and absolutely loved it. The way they have preserved the architecture and at the same time modified the structure of the house is so inspiring. The garden and the pool area is breathtaking. staffs were really friendly and helpful is every possible way. We will definitely come back again.

This was a brilliant co-living space- I can barely fault it! I was worried for connection for work but it was perfect internet- honestly! Sri Lanka can be challenging for internet but it was perfect at Colive. Over a week here and it never dropped out, even when town was out of power, the batteries here kicked in and kept working without issues. Rasith and all the staff are amazing- they helped recommend places for food, arranged scooters, taxis, everything! And great to just hang out with in the awesome lounge space. Also so much extra included that I didn’t know before I arrived- there are free bikes to use, filtered water to drink, coffee machine and washing machine. Top level was a huge yoga space up in the trees and view to ocean. Everything was so convenient! Grocery store just 5 minute bike ride away also, and fruit/veg stores 5 mins walk. Location was so quiet, birds, langurs in the trees! Highly recommend as a place to work and stay!

The first place that I stayed in Sri-Lanka. The staff service is really good, Rasith and Arya are really nice people and will make you feel at home. The workspace is nice, the internet speed is decent and they also have a power source generator to keep things running in case of power cuts. The room that I stayed was big and clean, kitchen and common areas are really good too, and they also have a refreshing swimming pool. Regarding the location, there are not many things around, but if you have a bike and is looking for a place to focus, that is perfect.

I stayed at Colive for nearly a month and had such a great time. I have tried a fair few cowork spaces and can vouch that this is the real deal. The place itself is beautifully designed (the owners are a designer and an architect). They have created an environment that is so tranquil and chill as soon as you walk in and has the best workspace in the area (with proper desk chairs!). There's beach with a good surf spot within a few mins walking distance, amazing rooftop, solid wifi and solar powered battery backup power (very useful right now in Sri Lanka!). Most of all the staff are amazing, helpful, diligent, lovely people. Along with the other guests they made the place feel like a second home in no time. I could even order home cooked food from the mother of one of the employees that lives next door, which is delicious...so I did it basically every day. Colive really exceeded my expectations for what was possible for this sort of space for a reasonable price. The setup was ideal for a balanced day of productive work, surfing and chilling with friends. Thank you and see you next time :-)

We had a wonderful stay in Colive! Me and my friends are Digital Nomads and we were looking for a nice and friendly environment with good working atmosphere: and Colive totally matched that! Clean modern style, enough space to work, big pool, good wifi and a rooftop with an amazing view. We also did activities together like snorkeling etc. Colive is the place to go! 🔥

We stayed at Colive for a month from June 24 to July 20 and it was such a nice place to spend a month. We even extended an extra week. They take great care of you and become really good friends. It felt like a second home almost immediately. For work, the wifi works great, there's lots of spaces to work comfortably -- i usually had late night meetings due to the time difference from Canada, but I was always able to take meetings and work whenever it suited me. During power cuts, the solar powered generator kicks in and you barely notice when the power goes out. The views are spectacular from both the rooms and the rooftop and there's a nice pool. Will definitely be coming back to Colive when I'm back in Ahangama.

It was a great time living in Colive! As a nomad I needed a place where I can comfortably live and work and this was exactly what I was looking for. Everything about this place is great — location, service and high speed internet without power cuts) Will for sure plan my stay here next season!

We had a beautiful experience in Colive. It is a place within the jungle and beach with a nice pool. Very clean place and friendly staff. The roof top has a beautiful view that makes you feel relaxed. I fell a sleep there too. Safe and just loved the experience ❤️

You'll be in such good hands if you stay at Colive! Stayed for 2 weeks and it was such a chill place to hangout, do some work, quick walks to the beach. Caring owner and amazing staff taking care of every request and free coffee from Sri Lankan roasted beans. It was great to have a kitchen to cook some stuff when needed. A huge plus location wise is that its next to Manoris Kitchen! I'll come back for sure!

Really cool place to stay and work, only a few minutes scooter ride to the town and beaches. The local food from Minori’s next door is absolutely delicious! But I think it’s the staff that make this place so good. Ira, who is basically like your Mum in Sri Lanka, is so helpful and friendly and organised with everything. And Rasith and the other guys are great as well. The building itself is cool. The wifi was a bit unreliable which made work difficult a few times but other than that it’s great. The even have a generator so during power cuts (fairly common here), that kicked in and we still had electricity.

Had the best week at Colive — it is the best coliving in the world! 💻✨ My husband and I work remotely, and it was awesome to have such a beautiful place to call home for a few days. The team vas very supportive and attentive, the whole house was always clean and the whole design was just perfect, the coworking space was really comfortable with nice ergonomic chairs and strong wifi connections, the pool looked like it belonged to a design magazine, and so much more 🤍 It was also great to meet other likeminded digital nomads. We shared some cool common spaces like a rooftop (where we practiced yoga!), a well maintained garden that looked like a jungle, a kitchen with all the appliances we needed, etc. The coliving was also strategically located in Ahangama, close to the main road but far enough to avoid the noises and feel like we were on our own jungle sea bubble 🫶🏼 We will definitely come back for a longer time!!! 💘

After having spent more than 7 months in COLIVE, I can only say this is not only a coliving, a coworking, a community, a wonderful home to meet like-minded people, but most importantly it is a Family! ❤️ Rasith, Ira, Sumudu are the most generous, heart-warming, loving people you'll ever meet in Sri Lanka (and possibly in the world) and will do literally anything in their power to make sure you're happy and healthy every day you spend here. The space offers a fantastic mix of productivity to get your work done and entertainment to wind down with a ping pong or carrom game, as well as loads of communal breakfasts, movie nights, bbqs and more. On top of that, you're a few mins walking from one of the best surfing spots and the best rice and curry restaurant in all of south Sri Lanka 🏄🏼‍♂️ Trust me when I say you're not gonna regret spending your time here and that the people you'll meet are gonna change your life forever! 🙏🏽

We love this place! Perfect internet connection. If you need to be in Sro lanka and work every day I recommend staying at Colive. The place has a great location. They will arrange for you to rent a scooter or bike and you have all the beautiful places within driving distance. The staff was amazing we absolutely fell in love with them all. We will definitely come back. Thank you all for a wonderful stay! We had brunches, barbecues and lunches together. All the people who were staying at Colive at the same time were like our family. If you are looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy nature but still have a steady and secure place to do your online work, this is the perfect place. Tucked away a few meters from the busy main road, it provides you the calm and tranquility you need, but at the same time just need to grab your board, walk 2 minutes and you are in the ocean surfing “gas station” or in a tuk-tuk on your way to another surf spot. The staff at colive are just amazing, always ready to help you book a day trip to the parks, tell you where to buy anything you need or what is the best chicken kottu! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the office area has plenty of desks and office chairs, with a good wi-fi connection and the living room/ garden/pool is just perfect to relax and battling the heat during the day.

Such a gorgeous place to live. Rusith, Sumudu and everybody bend over backward to make your stay wonderful. The vibe from everyone there is incredibly friendly, and the work and swim routine I had there was unrivalled. So many thanks to everyone, will definitely be back for a much longer stay next time 🙌

This is quite the paradise in Ahangama! 100% recommend, super attentive hosts and felt like I had someone I could be friends with - great for solo travelers . I had trouble sleeping well though with the heat, I’d recommend sharing a few tips on how to best deal with windows + fans at night

What an Amazing co-working space. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay,it was an Amazing experience and i loved the view, rooftop was fantastic and facilities were clean and modern,best place for chilling and working :)

We had an amazing stay at Colive. From the moment we arrived to the day we left two months later, we felt at home. The staff and especially Rasith are extremely friendly, helpful and fun to spend time with. We even went surfing together and caught a party wave. Overall the house is amazing and the price is affordable too. Only negative is, that there is no A/C which makes working a little hard sometimes. Nevertheless, we‘ll be sure to visit again next season.

I stayed in a basic room on the second floor for 8 nights and my stay couldn’t have been any better. Don’t worry about there being no AC, the building is perfectly designed for ventilation and as a result the nights in the room were just right. All the staff at Colive treat you as family and the common areas induce conversation and collaboration. Praying that I will be back sooner rather than later ✨

My friends and I recently attended a startup program hosted at COLIVE, and it turned out to be an amazing week away from home. We had an absolute blast and had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. Ismael, the owner, was incredibly friendly, and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic. I have to say, I've never come across such a friendly and welcoming staff anywhere in Sri Lanka. Throughout the week, we enjoyed eating together, cooking as a group, playing games, and exploring the sights together. It was an incredibly fun time. We are definitely planning to visit again in the future. We just wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for being so awesome and for making our stay so much better. It was truly an amazing experience. ❤

Great co-living place! It has everything a digital nomad could need and a very helpful team that creates a beautiful atmosphere. They are very supportive of local talented community and can recommend you plenty of authentic experience.

We spent 3 nights at Colive and our stay there was excellent! The rooms and shared bathrooms are clean and comfortable and the staff on site are very friendly and helpful and certainly go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. The co working space is very well set up with back up power and the internet connectivity is also super fast. The property is located in a peaceful neighbourhood which is a 5 minute walk away from a nice beach and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance as well. Would definitely recommend staying here especially if you are looking for a quiet location to work from.

Colive is a digital nomads paradise. Right in the jungle, modern architecture and design, very clean, wonderful people and staff and a nice pool. The rooftop is also wonderful and everyone is really helpful. Loved to stay and work there. The WiFi is great and they have a generator which is also working during the powercuts. Had a wonderful experience here along with the sea breeze that blushes on your face washing away all the tension and stress. The surrounding of the place gives a very aesthetic outlook that eventually resets your mood. The place offers uninterrupted power supply which is very convenient for those who hope to spend some fruitful time while also working parallelly. Most importantly, the people in the vicinity are very kind and help with whatever we require.

I stayed 2 weeks with the colive family. Beautiful space, great location but, definitely, they have the best team. I was able to work (with a lot of meetings) w/o problem. There is 1 surf spot walking distance but with a motorbike, you can reach the main ones within max 5 mins. Great place to settle for long term to work and enjoy sri lanka!
