+ Location is perfect,direct at a beach + pool is perfect,without open time,you can swim whenever you want :) and water is warm + they rent also surfs and provide joga lessons or surf lessons + there are sunbeds with umbrella on a beach and at the pool,what is really fine + breakfast are also fine (but you need to wait for a breakfast sometimes more then 30minutes) + facility arround hotel is stylish - they dont clean rooms automaticly,maybe you neeed to ask for it… - I missed bedside tables in a room -We also missed electric kettle - In description is written that in the rooms are safety box,but there arent. - no wifi in the room

we loved our cabana soo much, we regret we couldn't stay longer. guys who works there are friendly and nice. breakfast is fine. bed was comfortable. mosquito net was perfectly clean and washed. outdoor toilet is cool. place is quiet and peacefully.

Had the best time while I was staying here 🤩🤩🤩. My mornings were kind of: wake up, grab a board (they have a range of sizes), morning surf and back for breakfast (juices, fruit plate, eggs, toast...)YUMMY!!! I used to go for a long walk on the bay in the evenings....to see probably the most stunning sunsets that I've seen of my life. The location it's just perfect, just in front of the beach, I checked the waves from the balcony! The room was really nice, ocean view, quiet and clean. The staff it's very friendly and profesional, it's always somebody around in case you need anything. They also provide surf lessons, boat trips... If the location, price, FOOD, and staff it's good, I can't really think about a better place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka ✨✨✨

Our room is stunning with beach views. You can hear the surf at night which is so dreamy. It takes us seconds to get into the waves. I stayed for 2 nights for surfing and relaxing. Loved the place. We had a little cabin with the bathroom in the back and no roof. In the room we had a safe. Don't think you will regret this. Good food and friendly staff.

We had a great time staying in the green rooms. The owner is a really nice guy and you can rent motorbikes and surfboards there. Best waves are right in front of the hostel. Definitly one of the best places to stay in weligama.

We went there to eat, rent surf boards and chill in our vacation in weligama. Its the perfect place to hang around with the best staff from kitchen worker to surf instructors. The guys are very helpfull and friendly if you need anything. Really enjoyed this place. See you guys and thank you for everything.

Host is very reiendly and helpful, one of theajor pro's of this site Hotel location is great for surfing Rooms are only barely equipped with anything beyond bed and could be refurbished Esp beginner boards are all damaged (softboard coating ripped of, leash holper ripped etc) and not as many board available as surfers in peak times Cool are the surftours with the boat they are offering In total: good place to surf but some investments would be great

Very well located along the Weligama Beach. It is close enough to all the bars and restaurants down the beach and just far enough to be able to have your own beach infront of you. We were able to hire surf boards from the accommodation for a very reasonable price. Accommodation is exactly what you need - good bed, outside bathroom and enough space to move around. There are loungers to lie on during the day which are perfect for those hot tanning days. I would highly recommend staying at the Green Rooms. (side note: don't leave any food in your room as the ants will find it and eat it) :)

We just loved this place! Super friendly staff, amazing and really, really caring and helpful surf instructors, super close to the beach and everyone is simply welcome. Rather you travel alone, with your partner or as a group! To the people who complain about the slow service: come on you guys, you are on vacation. The staff tries it‘s very best to fullfil all the special needs of the customers. Some people just want a coffee before surfing and the omlette afterwards, some want a whole fruit plate or a fruit juice, etc., etc.! So just relax!

In short: Definitely worth it. In detail. Pros: - Very cool instructors, despite their young age - almost personal approach at the beginning of the training - secluded corner of the beach, without all the street noise - You live right on the beach, even Marriott doesn't seem to have such conditions. - If you think that the cabana is not for you, I advise you to reconsider: it does not get very warm in the sun, to wash under the open sky, even in the rain, these are the sensations you want to get from a vacation on a tropical island. - Incredibly cool organized recreation areas, pool after sunset - a must! - Open and friendly staff, always ready to help. the owner, shows his full interest in making your vacation worry-free. Disadvantages: - Lack of minimal hygiene products in the shower, after a fourteen hour flight you don't want to think about where to get shampoo in an unfamiliar place. - Low level of English of the instructors, which sometimes makes it difficult to understand some aspects (but like all activities, surfing is a practice, so without preparation at home and minimal training, you should not wait for a magic pill). - Expensive food/beer for guests, average price among establishments in the area, but even a difference of -200 LRps for a beer will make you more willing to grab it at the bar instead of going to the store. - A ten percent service charge when paying the cafe bill? Why? I already live at your place, it seems like the service could have been included in the price instead of getting a surprise at the checkout. It may seem like there are a lot of minuses, but they are more for the owners, because I wish GreenRooms to be even better and come back to them in a few years to have another good time. Great surf camp with good surf coachens. Location is perfect, just by the beach and a short walk to all restaurants and shops you need. We stayed on the top floor and the room was really nice. Wish we stayed longer!
