Just amazing beach for surfing, don’t go too far down as there is a dirty river run off, it's a fantastic atmosphere to surf for children as well however the vibe across the beach is great and if you want to surf - I will highly recommend.

The only good thing about the Beach is that there is a lot of surfboards to rent. Beach is not clean (as most of beaches during my stay in Srilanka) and water was really dirty - a lot of bags and other trash in the water. Didn't enjoy it.

Long beautiful beach and perfect if you want to learn how to surf. If not then I highly suggest you go somewhere else. The water is absolutely littered with surfer wannabes so you need to look out if you want to go for a swim. Surprisingly no nightlife on the beach to speak of.

Nice beach to surf. Have a lot of training schools to teach surfing to novices. They charge 1500 to 2500 Lkr, as per the customer and services provided. You can rent a surf board from 200 lkr and practice yourself. There is a lot of surf crowd. Coconut water is expensive than usual one. Food trucks are serving snacks outside the beach.
