A truly unique food experience in Weligama. We had the fish and the chicken taco and it’s by far some of our best taco experiences and trust me, we’ve had a lot of taco! The family owning the restaurant are lovely, the excitement and love that prepared the food is magnificent! I hope for everyone to experience this little gem! Thank you so much! Sooo you know how you read everywhere that this place has the best curry? This one is my absolute top. We also tried chicken tacos 🌮 very delicious as well. Highly recommend especially considering such good prices here!

Best Rice and Curry in Sri Lanka We stumbled across this small restaurant on the front at Weligama. A small family run business with a friendly welcome and a great outlook towards the beach. The food was amazing. My wife and I both had Rice and Curry which was freshly homemade I had fish and my wife had chicken. Curry, rice and five curried veg dishes plus poppadoms. We were both amazed at the taste portion size and the friendly welcome. Not to be missed!!!

We had the tuna, chicken, and mushroom tacos- they were amazing!!! They make the tortilla fresh in house. They are epic- form enough to hold the filling without going soggy, and large enough that you feel like you have eaten a decent sized meal. The Sri Lankan owner is lovely and keen for a chat. While this place has only been open for a short while and doesn’t look like much from the outside, I can honestly say it’s worth visiting!! I’m a professional chef who spends a lot of time in Mexico and Miami eating tacos, and these absolutely fit the bill! They have a great Sri Lankan spin on a Mexican favourite and they succeed!! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the third taco plate because we ate them so quickly 😂

Had the nicest meal here - the men working here are so lovely and friendly. Such a cute, intimate setting. We had the kottu and chicken tacos. Both absolutely delicious! Nice to have something a little different (tacos). The staff member even got on his motorcycle to get us a drink we didn’t have!! Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute must !! A good selection of Sri Lanka classics and Sri Lanka classics in taco form. The food is incredible, fresh, tasty and filling, not to mention cheap >2000 rupees for a main The family who run the place are lovely, and made us all feel right at home. We came three times and they even remembered one of our parties regular order. If you're in weligama and fancy a twist on the Sri Lankan classic, give this place a go. You won't be disappointed!

Delicious local tacos, had the one with shrimps (already peeled, so you don’t have to worry about it) and tuna, both superb. Would be great if the place would offer smoothies/juices in the future too.

Wow, the chicken tacos are amazing and the chicken curry was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka so far. Friendly and polite owner explained the menu to us and help us choose. Will definitely come back

Really good Tacos!! Arguably the best tasting in Sri Lanka with many flavours to choose from. The table next to us had curry and rice which looked amazing too!! Such a lovely family owned restaurant where you can see the food being made fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Atmosphere is five stars because it is so basic. The chicken tacos weren't very mexican-ish, but they were very delish. Nice people, too.

Vegan friendly 🌱 They make super delicious Sri Lankan Tacos. The Moju Vegan Taco is so good! But it’s not so filling, so we ordered the veg rice & curry on top - which was amazing as well.

Little family restaurant serving local food. Had the tuna curry with steamed rice. It came with some veggies and lentil Dahl. Taste was really awesome, definitely the best curry I had so far during my stay here in Sri Lanka. Full recommendation!

Best food we’ve had in ages, traveling or back home. And it’s extremely affordable, cozy atmosphere, small and family run restaurant. Think of it like this: Do you want to try Sri Lankan dishes made with a mothers’ love put into the food? This is the place. V, the son and his father will take care of your orders and needs, and even have a friendly chat with you while you wait for the food. So far we’ve tried the Curry and other rice dishes - amazing. Tomorrow we’ll try something else on the menu… Maybe! Thank you V and family! (And thanks to our friends who lived in Sri Lanka for 6 months, for this amazing recommendation).

Very tiny restaurant yet tastier the food. I tried Tuna curry and chix tacos. The chef is a youngster with a beautiful presentation to his food.

One of our best dinners in Sri Lanka. The tuna taco is a dream, I am still thinking on the flavours....delicious! Chicken and prawn tacos are also good...but tuna taco....the best!! Very friendly owner. If I could, I would repeat for sure!!

I came 10 min before close and ordered veggie rice&curry. They took my order and cooked it about 30 min. Waiting worth it. Delicious mix of tastes and mild curry. Family run place means friendly service, yammy and not expensive food. There is only 3 tables in the small room, so eat and go.
