Visited this place as it was very near to the resort we were staying. The owner of this place was very good. We had their fried rice and french fries. Both of which were delicious and the quantity too was sufficient. Service was a bit slow but overall was a good place.

DELICIOUS vegetarian rice and curry! Very sweet people. The even cooked red rice for us. Fresh food, made with passion and love, you can taste it! We wanted to make a picture of the food, but started to dig in when it was served 🤤 So all that’s left is this plate 😂

This restaurant is not as fancy as other places at Weligama, but it has very realxing atmosphere and regarding food, it's amazing! I sincerely don't know who is a cook at the place, but I would totally believe that this is home kitchen. I had cheese chicken kottu for lunch. Compared to kottu at other restaurants, this one was the most moisture that I have tried at Sri Lanka, making it very tasty and at the same time also easy to eat. Other kottu meals were really too dry and it was hard to eat them for me - I needed to drink some water or so. Not to mention that I didn't finish my portion here because the meal was just too big for me. So the place is definitely also suitable for very hungry customers.

This cozy cafe has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, wide choice of European and local cuisine, fast service. The cost is fair for everything and the atmosphere is good. Highly recommended!

Calm place next to the river in the shade. Delicious food (vegeterian wrap with salad/mango and chocolate roti), good prices and very kind service. A bit hard to find, follow the signs!

I have been in this restaurant around 7 times or more. The food is really delicious, their service is great and the price is very cheap and fair. I really recommend the Kotu. Is a simple place, but the food is delicious.

Nice place, wide variety in menu, really tasty and not expensive. We had a breakfast for 2 people (2 dishes, 2 desserts and 2 pots of tea/coffee) and paid 3500 Rs. Good size of portions. Very close to the main road, so it's not so quite and doesn't have a seaview or smth like that, but definitely nice place to visit :)

The food is delish! We had breakfast here and wish to come back. The food was made with care. It felt like eating home. “Mama” and everyone here are super kind. The portions are big, and one tea pot is more than enough for two people. The place seemed to be going through some renovation but it didn’t bother us. Also, it wasn’t super easy to find it, but I’m glad we did! Definitely recommend 🌸🍀

Best place ever ! Homemade food for a good price, right next to my hostel, there are always open and happy to cook and serve you + you can take away! They also have a very peaceful garden I you want to dine in. Go to mama’s!!
