The place that made us feel most at home in Weligama thanks to the lovely owner who nurtures this place with her love and touch! Ideally located across the road from Weligama beach, right next to other popular hangouts like Hangtime and the Playground. The host also connected us to the best surf teacher in town! Can't wait to go again for the new season opening!

An absolute joy to stay here. Reasonably priced, excellent food, beautiful rooftop and you’ll meet the nicest people. Only steps away from the beach. Rubi - the owner is a lovely spirit and creates such a lovely experience. Yoga offered twice a day too! Will be back ❤️❤️❤️

I‘m actually sorry to be writing this review but the room we got was just unbearable. Avoid being in one of the ground floor rooms as they are very moldy and humid with an old a/c which was dripping the whole time using it. Bathroom was also very bad. Pro: The yoga in the morning was very good. The host was also friendly and cooperative when we voiced that we were unhappy with the room which was positive. We left earlier than planned because the room was so bad.

Love this place! The story of the friendly owners is inspiring, the vegan and vegetarian food is uniquely amazing and the atmosphere is great (and they have very good WLAN, despite the common instability in Weligama)!

I don’t know where is my review from the last year. But our stay was bad. As it has been said first floor is moldy. Music from the bar next door is so loud that you can’t sleep even with the earplugs. Hosts are very-very nice and vegan caffe is super good. But don’t stay there if you’re looking for a quiet place with morning yoga! P.S. i really miss my Havaianas that has been stolen from me there 💔

It's a beautiful place with a very good vibe. The breakfast and lunch are so food! I love the vegan breakfast here! It's a perfect place to chill or work. I recomend it 100%

When Rubi and Nura opened up their doors to us, it was not only to get into a beautiful and comfortable hotel, they also opened up the door to their hearts and they welcomed us to become part of the international Island Sisters "Familia". I'm more than grateful for the time we spent there all together, for the amazing food we all cooked together and for all the help they provided us. I'd definitely recommend Island Sisters to everyone, the rooms are incredible, spacious, comfortable and clean, the food is super delicious, nutritious and healthy and you'll have lots of love, laughs, happiness and friendship forever. Family <3 - I came to Island Sisters the first time because I heard they had a good Open Mic night on Sundays. I had such a good time I kept coming back! The food is amazing, great coffee and vegan cakes, wonderful and thoughtful events (open mic, jam sessions, movie nights, pranayama, yoga, full moon ceremony, writing workshops, and more), and the people (and dogs) that you meet here . . . wow. The rooms are great as well :) And you're in the heart of Weligama, so you can walk to the beach in just seconds. You could also walk to other places nearby to hang out, but why bother? You are already in the best.

Amazing vegan & vegetarian food. I could have chosen so many different things off the menu as it all sounds great. Would definitely go back again ♥️
