Beautiful semi-secluded location on a serene bay at the edge of Weligama, just a few minute tuk-tuk drive away from the center. Stunning interiors and art collection (+ books which the hotel so kindly gifted us the ones we were reading as we didn’t get to the ending in time!) - THANK YOU Food is delicious and fresh and made with love. Eraeliyas community and staff is warm and welcoming, tending to our every needs before we even knew what we needed. A special thank you to Sandun and Mohamed Hussein for making us feel like home (with a lot of attention) Definite must stay when in Weligama!

We spent two wonderful weeks over this 2023 Christmas holidays and the 2024 new year. Exceptional experience. Gorgeous villas, lovely grounds, great reef break out front for surfing and a fantastic pool. Can't say enough positive things. Excellent service. All staff were too notch and Sandun was a standout - very elegant man and extremely gracious. Sandun is very customer-oriented and charismatic - hopefully he will be the manager one day! The food was also amazing - the chef is a real star too, very talented with Western and local dishes alike. Highly recommended!

Very good place if you are looking for peace and quiet. Private beach with view of bay where surfers practice. Rooms are great, food is superb. Only negative is that everything goes quiet after 8pm. So if you want to have something to drink after 9pm you have to order tuktuk. I would love to come back.

This place is amazing. Special even. Set away from the hustle and bustle of town and other crowded beaches, Eraeliya is calm, quiet and beautiful. The unique draw is the gorgeous boutique rooms, which genuinely look like something out of a design magazine. The staff are very kind and accommodating, the food is good (including for vegetarians), and the location - manicured front lawn overlooking the ocean, small, beautiful, and unbusy “Jungle beach” within a one minute walk - is pretty much perfect. If you are looking for a place to truly relax and appreciate the amazing south coast, do not miss Eraeliya.

One of the most incredible stays that I've had in Sri Lanka! Everything about the property is perfect from the rooms, to the views, and of course the staff! I stayed here for two nights and it simply wasn't enough. It was the best place to relax while still being incredibly close to everything near by! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable! I loved waking up to breakfast on my balcony with the incredible view of the ocean. Literally a dream destination on its own' you should definitely book your stay!

Great villa for a family getaway. The location is superb with a nearly private beach and quiet atmosphere away from the crowds of Weligama. The villa we stayed in was tastefully decorated, the food was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful.

One of the most serene place we stayed in.!The complete staff was so helpful and friendly.The view of the pool is just breathtaking.We stayed one day in Muhudu villa and two days in Nelum villa.Muhudu is close to beach and u can listen to calm waves all night.We made sure to spend the sunsets near the pool because the best sunset view is in their Resort.Its all about serene atmosphere.The garden is beautifully maintained & You can see beautiful lotus flowers in the property.Will definitely come back again.Near to most of the beaches and easy access to markets.Thank you for the wonderful experience

The place is serene. Breathtaking, tastefull and chic interior, gardens, all surroundings. What a lovely and hard working staff! Although it is common in Sri Lanka that locals are trying to show their hospitality level, but these people are profesionals. That’s who made our first days in Sri Lanka very special. Because why I’m givinig not full 5*? It’s because the Garden Loft rooms. PLEASE, don’t give them for a guests. This is totally not what you’re expecting booking a room in villa like Eraeliya. They’re attached to the staff kitchen and maintenance area outside. Always noisy and rackety. Otherwise this place is luxurious and you need to visit.

Great place , with amazing views and extremely friendly staff. Only thing that can be improved on are the drinks and food . Still good but can be better

Definitely the best place we've been in the world! A magical and beautiful place. Everything is invested and very attentive to the smallest details. The staff is great, pampering and gives the real feeling of a vacation. The chef is excellent and the food is simply amazing! Already dreaming of visiting there again.

We stayed at Era Eliya twice. First time was in Dec-2020 and the second time was in Aug-2022. We chosed the same villa during both stays. The villas are absolutely beautiful and clean. The best thing about Era Eliya is the location. It's a beachside property with an infinity pool so we had lot of water activities to engage in given that some villas / rooms got bathtubs as well. The staff also was very helpful. The stay at Era Eliya is totally worth.

Our stay at Eraeliya was very relaxing. As two avid beachaholics me and my mother had the best mom-daughter time. Food was amazing. The view from Diviya suit was amazing as well. Overall we had the greatest experience. Must say the staff was very professional and nice. My clumsiness would have gotten some of my stuff misplaced unless for the kind staff at Eraeliya!

Spent a refreshing week this lovely Villa around May. A lovely location facing the bay area and the views were just spectacular! My favorite part were the details - both interior and exterior and the amenities in the suite. Such a memorable stay will revisit!

One of our favourite holiday! Beautifully, consciously designed spaces, amplifying the natural beauty of this tropical paradise. Large, luxurious, comfortable, private, quiet room, spectacular views, Great staff, specially appreciate MS. THARUKAs very pleasant & helpful manners. As same as others also always pleasant and very kind/polite. Good food. Menu & salt usage Need a bit of improvement. We did not want to leave and will be back. We stayed at Eraeliya during 12 days. This experience was awesome. The place is very very beautiful and quiet in comparison with the center of Weligama bay. We lived in a perfect villa Nelum that was comfortable to stay with a baby. All Weligama and Midigama places/bars are very close and easy to go. There were no problems with the food for a 2 y.o. baby. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, the design of the buildings and a garden is super cool! The service was above our expectations. Thank you, each member of the personnel, for our wonderful vacation💘 Hope to visit it again!
