We saw the fresh fish being brought in so decided to stag and eat. Ordered a couple of grilled snappers, than sat down and ordered a couple of drinks. Only afterwards i started to read the reviews, and became worried. Actually had a very good experience. Delicious food, good service, fair prices. The grilled snappers with sauce chips and salad were mouthwatering! We paid 2200 LKR for both fish with side dishes. As a negative, there were a lot of flies - which was a bit annoying.

Few things frustrated me. I ordered a pizza with sea food bacon and chicken pineapple., i got with chicken and some fish. We gave 5000 rupy for a 4000 meal we asked for change so we can pay tip. We waited 20 min so they bring the change. We got tired of waiting and left. Not sure if was in purpose. The waiter was nice.

Honestly I tried it before seeing the bad reviews and I’m glad I did We chose our seafood and asked them to grill it for us (fish, jumbo shrimps and lobsters), the food was amazing, staff attentive, they gave us complimentary drinks and even dropped us to the hotel as they did not have card payment Yes they do charge 10% service fees but I’m really okay with it

Got the grilled prawns… the sauce or whatever that was is not tasty. The music at the evening is really loud and uncomfortable, on top they are the guys with the fireworks! All the dogs from the beach got stressed and came barking!

I didnt eat anything, because I just chilled there for my beach day. Drink were fine and reasonably priced. Couldnt say anything bad about the service either.

So much happening and entertaining place just on or right to next Mirissa beach. Dine, drink, music and dance.

After 3 weeks of excellent restaurants, full trust & just a breeze in Sri Lanka we got to admit that we just ran into nothing but a tourist trap. The guys at the seafood counter are really nice & I believe it's not really their fault, but then again..😬 We've eaten so much seafood by now...We've stayed in Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna + many place inland. We're normally paying 8-11.000 Rps for the full seafood, with a large fish, prawns & squid & this time we estimated that our meal for 3 persons with drinks (1 beer & 6 soft drinks) would cost us 13-14.000 Rps, as we had chosen more seafood than usual & had agreed on the price already. We also ordered a vegetable curry, which came as a couple of spoons of vegetables & the whole plate just full of white rice (which we don't eat). We had to order a new one & told the staff that we would pay for another serving as we had not been precise enough (!!) with regards to the rice. The bill came at 22.150 Rps (& each & every item only had a US$ price) & 10% was added in service charge. This price is more than double of several of the seafood places we've eaten the past 3 weeks..😱 We had been so "careless" to order soft drinks without looking at the menu card & they now turned out to be 700+ Rps (2 US$) per piece, even a soda water which normally cost 200+ Rps. Anyway, we complained a little, paid & left. We had actually agreed to come back tomorrow, as the seafood was nice, but this is nothing but a typical tourist trap & we would not recommend this restaurant to others. Prices need to be changed to Rps in the menu card & on the bill, while drinks prices need to be adjusted to reflect other restaurants in Mirissa.

They had a variety of seafood on display and I was able to choose what I wanted and they prepared it on the grill. The lobster was quite good. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was fairly quick. Prices were reasonable too considering the tourist centered area. Would definitely try to visit again.

We ordered one seafood pizza and one French fries for our lunch when doesn’t have so much people at 1:15. And we waited nearly one hour and confirmed with the waiter 3 times to check whether he forgot it or not. After 1.5 hrs, the French fries comes with a long curly hair inside. We left without finished it. Pizza ok but service bad. Not come again.

On the beach, great atmosphere and excellent food. Not cheap.

It's the best seafood on the beach, free sunbeds during the day...we were here almost every day. The best employee is Isuru ....you are in our hearts can't wait to see you in Greece.

Nice location and good view and that’s all about this place. The prices are so unreasonable for what they offer. I can have a better meal at the same price anywhere in Europe. The fish is okay, the small salad consists of a bit of dry shredded cabbage and the rice is a portion of a child’s which is dry and unseasoned not worth your money, Be aware of the 10% service charge as well and no option to pay by card 5500r was the total cost of one plate of dry food and 2 beers

We’ve been here for beers, for lunch and for dinner and we do not agree with the low rating - the staff was always available when we needed something, they have nice tables and sunbeds on the beach and we personally liked the techno music they played. The food (devilled chicken/fish, grilled fish and fish curry) was very good, meal sizes were big enough and came soon enough after ordering. It was actually the cheapest restaurant for food (and beer) we found on the beach and definitely the best value for money. Most times we were the only customers so don’t let that scare you away - we highly recommend it!

We were invited to party: awful music, but drinks and fruit plate was very good. Payment accepted only by cash. Service is very good and place was very clean, close to the beach and with extremely nice atmosphere 😍 All prices are shown in USD and everything is quite overpriced 😬

Nope. This is a classic tourist trap. Just the location is remarkable but nothing else. I had a giant prawn and they cooked it so badly and for so long that there was almost nothing left to eat. A piece of "meat" smaller than my pinkie. I basically paid 1500 rupees for chips and salad. Unbelievable! a sea food restaurant should prepare sea food much better. Beer arrived fresh but not cold. Staff look even annoyed that they have to work. And they take ages to take away the empty dishes. I do not recommend this place. You can eat much better somewhere else

Great location to watch the surf. The sunbeds are free, at least if you buy something. No one is really caring about you, so you will not be forced to buy stuff, if you don’t want to. BUT if you buy food and drinks, it is not good and also overpriced. We paid i.e. for a mixed fruit juice ca 1300, which is the highest we have seen in whole sri lanka. Not sure if that is the real price or if we just got a „special price“. We didn’t come back after that bill…

I really love this place. Very chill and the servers are taking care of you. The food is tasty and fresh! The sun matress are comfortable. Thanks a lot for your professionalism :)

It is rare that I write reviews for restaurants, but this one is defining worth doing. The reviews are so low, but I don't see why. It really is a great place where you can enjoy amazing food or drinks in a relaxed and chill atmosphere at any time of the day. The food itself is on par price wise with the rest of the beach, but the portions here are considerably larger than the neighboring restaurants. Not only that, but the staff is on top of their game, especially Isuru who is singlehandedly the one who convinced me to give this place a try and was always friendly and kind even in following encounters after that. He feels like the face of the place and I couldn't ask for better in terms of service and friendliness. Would recommend anytime. Keep up the good work

Not the best food...pretty boring "tourist" food. Wanted to charge 3% for credit card...high prices. Cold potatoes with average Calamari. Would not recommend. Worthy of its low rating.

Not sure why the reviews are so low. This place is lovely and the Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious. For 2000Rs one portion is plenty of food for two people. Loads of seating options right on the beach too.

Okish place. Next to the beach, clean area, a lot of sunbeds to choose from. Drinks price is ok but the food needs improvement. Service slow.. Too slow
