My weakness is food. It was really good / delicious. Served hot on demand. Staff was well mannered, helpfull and friendly. I will fail if I do not say about courteous behaviour of reception and the room allotted was clean. Location to beach, other sports is marvellous. Really enjoyed our stay. I will strongly recommend fir stay at least once.

What a special place! We ended up staying for the whole time in Midigama. It is such a pleasure to stay here, the house is clean and tidy, the rooms are comfortable and dining area and roof terrace are great places to hang out. What makes it so special is the family and friends who run the place, friendly and fun to hang out with, so many jokes and good times with these guys, feel like I left some real friends behind!

It was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The room was very cosy, spacious and clean, with the shelf cupboard and hot water. The view was just stunning: the turquoise ocean water just a couple of meters away. But the most amazing part was a breakfast: every day huge tastiest portions of local breakfast with lots of different fruits. That was my favourite part of the day!:) And of course very nice and helpful owner family. I will definitely come back!

Was a GREAT Place to stay! We spend there 3 weeks for Surfing and it was the best relaxxed place ever!

Recensione New Ocean Vibe Super nice family running this little nice place! Super kind and always helpful little family running this nice place right by the ocean, just at 50mts paddling from the surf spot Lazy Right. The owners are very good people! Kumara, Thushari, Lakshan, the  little Shashen, Sarát and the Bull the dog will all do something to make your stay special! Right in front of the guesthouse there is a private tiny sandy beach which is the starting point to paddle to the line up. Very strategic position if you are there for surfing. In general the space is pleasant, nice and clean. Our room got a garden corner with hammock, table and chairs. You have space for your boards in the garden, outside shower (of course you have one in your room also!), nice big common terrace with a big table where they serve breakfast (every day of the week there is a different and very rich breakfast menu all with local dishes! Do not miss the breakfast!) and Kumara and Thushari will prepare yummy meals if you fancy it! That's a special highlight about New  Ocean Vibes: we had dinner almost everyday there as the food was super delicious, fresh and homemade at super fair prices! We tried other restaurants in the area, but to be honest, we've never found the same quality, freshness and...quantity we found at Kumara's! If you need some tips about surfing, best spots, board rentals or anything else, the young and helpful Lakshan is the guy to talk with! He will help you as much as he can with all the local best tips! When we'll be back to Sri Lanka, we'll choose New Ocean Vibes again! Good job guys! 100% recommended!!!

Kumara’s son gave us plenty of precious tips about the various surf spots, and even helped us out with our board rentals. Also, the homemade food they prepare is simply the best we’ve had in our whole trip, everything was fresh and incredibly tasty. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody who’s looking to surf, relax, and eat real food.

Me and my partner spent 14 days in this lovely guesthouse facing the sea, we've been so happy to have found this b&b,it has a nice garden in front and and in the back of the house where you can comfortably leave your surfboards, there are 2 outdoor showers that were so good after coming back from surfing! Our room was with garden view with our small patio with hammock, table and chairs. The room was clean and fresh thanks to the ceiling fan. The position is amazing, you can have a swim from the little beach in front of the guesthouse, and if you surf, it has an easy access to the surf spots that stucked us there!! But most of all, the hosts are incredibly welcome, the family running this place is so kind and always taking care about their guests, we had breakfast after surfing and it was the best food aver, every day different traditional food and so plentiful! We also had the most of our dinners with them, barbecue with fresh fish and different kind of rice and curry, everyday was delicious!!! We want to say thanks to this family because they made us feel at home, thank you for your smiles , your kindness, your open hearts! We'll be back for sure, and we recommed New ocean Vibes 100%!!!
