We enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Pool is great, very quiet so almost to ourselves. The breakfast was great, best so far in Sri Lanka. The team were helpful, the whale watching trip they recommended was one of the best experiences. The hotel is set away from the main street so more relaxing. Watch out for the noisy peacocks though. We would return here.

Do not go here... Place is poorly finished, superior room had broken windows, bathroom full of mold. Mirissa suffers from a lot of power blackouts, rendering your airconditioning useless... Staff is unfriendly. Overall this was a major deception... There is barely any water coming out of the shower and during a blackout only cold water drops are available

This is by far the worst place under the sun. Horrible service, terrible room conditions and showers nor air con works. Extremely disappointed. The photos were probably taken elsewhere. Not maintained and a complete rip off. Terrible overall.

We had 3 night at the pinapple retreat and we loved it so much. The guys that run it are so nice and helpfull. They have a great looking place on their hands. The pool was nice and clean and big as well. Rooms where big, luscious and clean. They only served breakfast when we stayed there, witch was great, but the place is not completely finished yet. They still have some things to install they told me, but the place was running smoothly. Very service minded people that would move mountains for you! Highly recommend this place if you are in Mirissa

Quiet place in a 15-20 min walk to the ocean with a nice pool and rest/dining area near it. The property consists of several buildings, some of them have exit just to the pool, some on the second floor and 3 budget rooms, that we used, in a separate small house behind the fence with a private garden. The fence helps to keep shade, but almost blocks wifi, which is still good in a common area. Bordering peace of jungle provides you a full set of bird and monkey voices in the morning, you can meet some peacocks in a day time also just near the pool. Owners are a young couple, very affable people, speak good English and always nearby. We liked the place, but as they've started not a long time ago it still needs some minor improvements which could be easily resolved. In a budget room we didn't find any shelf/bedside table which is absolutely needed in such a small room. As well as an anti-mosquito repellent. Also there was some noise from the pipe station at the backyard. But still it has ac and private shower. Included breakfasts are simple (toasts, eggs, fruits), but sometimes they have a cook at the morning and you can try srilankan style meals. At the moment google shows this place two properties before the actual place.
