I was THREATENED AND INSULTED by the staff! The thin man with the beard and missing teeth treated me very badly today. I borrowed a bicycle from Baba's for 3 days, the owner of my hotel recommended this place to me and brought me there on Thursday. On that day, the man said that the bike costs 300 rp per day but he will charge me when I bring it back. This morning I came again to bring back the bicycle after 3 days. The man now wanted to charge me 4 days and 350 rp per day. He had written down the wrong date (Wednesday) on a piece of paper (which I neither saw before nor signed). But I was able to prove him that I had not been to Weligama 4 days ago, bc I was in Mirissa before and showed him my hotel reservation on my phone. But he still insisted that he was right and threatened to beat me and wanted to call the police. Well after he threatened me I better should have called the police. He became really aggressive while talking and also said to me why I came to his country if I had no money. I went to my hotel to ask the hotel owner to help me. We got back to Baba's to confirm that I borrowed the bike 3 days ago. The hotel owner was there with me that day. But the man still insisted on charging 4 days and 350 instead of 300 rp. In the end I paid the money he wanted me to pay to get my ID card back, which I left as a deposit. Avoid this place, these are lousy cheaters!

One of a Restaurant opened 24 hours in Weligama, foods are average in taste but prices are little high compared to other places in Weligama due to the located place. Mainly targeted foreigners but most of the times locals having meals.

A pretty nice local place, but the service is slooooow. The food is pretty good, though not amazing. If you have time it's a nice option for local food.

Sooooo i was there many times but with a local guy. Now i wanted to bring my friend there (white girls) and we need to pay a LOT MORE than usual. I don‘t understand that. We payed a lot and they were really angry with us. So we are not cöming again.

This place is over priced and not good quality. There are so many better places in Weligama than here.

Bro if you cheat, don't display the normal price in sri lankan - and then you show me the foreigner menu with double prices. You think I am dumb? Prices like you are on a beach not the dusty main road.

If it were possible I would give them ZERO stars. So expensive and I think they are drunk because they scream so loud in our face and do not want to accept that he did it wrong. Never Never again, I definitely do not recommend this place!

This was my worst experience in Sri Lanka. They want to rip someone off! I can not understand the good comments, certainly bought. Sad that such a store still exists. I do not recommend this experience to anyone.

I craved for some roti. The banana was quite nice while the egg one was the worst I've ever had, too oily. The papaya juice tasted only like water with a bit of papaya flavor. Like the other comment said, skip the juice! Overall not very appealing, the staff doesn't seem much motivated.

Roti’s were good, but nothing else. Roast chicken wasn’t good. service was slow, and they wouldn’t let us pay for what we ordered and simply cross off what we got. Not good for groups.

Terrible place. We waited for an hour to get our food . Wouldn't recommend if your hungry (we we're). The place wasn't crowded and we didn't order anything special.

We used to wait a cup of coffee for 40 minutes, 3 dishes for more than an hour. Joking at you after leaving the cafe. Curry fish and curry chicken are just one piece of fish and one piece of chicken. I got the littlest portions of the whole island there.

Don't come here, especially don't rent anything at this restaurant. They will cheat you. I rent a motor bike, i did not make any crush or accident but they reqeust 3500rupee for side borken. I swear i did not make it. Go other places, you can use much better bike at same price
