This spot is tucked away and is a great spot to spend an afternoon/evening. For families, there are heaps of seating options, all located in the outdoor, open air restaurant. Kids are welcome and made comfortable with menu items that are kid friendly and crazy straws in their drinks. The location is very chill, relaxing and well thought out. Staff lovely and really attentive. Beers and food are a great price, area very fun to chill in and staff great. There are toilets, taps and shower Highly recommend.

Amazing roadside juice and curry restaurant and takeaway. Everything fresh and tasty, owner is super-friendly. My Fry Fish was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka.

Incredibly tasty, varied and generous curry, beautifully served in little clay pots. We added a fish curry which was also delicious, and spicy (at our request ). He topped up some of our bowls when we emptied them, and we left there feeling very full! The lassi was also yummy.

The most delicious food in the most authentic atmosphere you can think of. We got welcomed so warmly. Before we sat down even the floor got swept. We ordered kottu and vegetable curry which came in a variety we never tasted before. We ate all over the world but honestly in this small hut beneath the street we found our food heaven. Service is excellent by the way! 1000% recommended if you are looking for something really authentic and delicious!

Highly recommended! We had a lovely breakfast and a egg&cheese sub. Very tasty and served quickly (much faster than othet places). Also the watermelon juice was the best we had in Sri Lanka so far. Dont overlook this bar!

Can't beat the location, overlooking a popular surf point and lovely stretch of beach. Friendly staff and tasty food, good portions. Plenty of seating inside the restaurant and on the beach. Always visit for a strong cup of local coffee and the view. Sumith was a hard-working soul and has left the place in the capable hands of his daughter and family. They continue to do a good job in their landmark truck.

Walking around Weligama I decided to stop over this front beach restaurant. I’ve been few days in the country and was expectant to try the Sri Lankan curry which turn up to be was the best option ever. The food was very tasty and delicious. The staff were very friendly and efficient…. And what about this view .. 🤩

Great little cafe right on the beach. Food was just what we needed and the menu has everything from Sri Lankan dishes to Chinese, Pizzas and burgers. I had the club sandwich and my hubby the chicken cheese burger - perfect! Washed down with a couple of Lion beers, we are now both fully satisfied. Service here is also very friendly and fast. Good prices too. 5 stars.

This is my best place in Weligama ⭐️ I spend 2 weeks in Weligama and ate here so many times 😅 The staffs here are so nice and food very delicious. I like especially rice and curry and devilled prawns 🥰 Thank you guys! ❤️

Great location with super friendly staff. The Food was super fresh. Be sure to tell them how you want it cooked however, since they might be overly careful and overcook it.

I came here at 22 in the night, very hungry, searching for a proper rice and curry. They were already closed but they were so kind and lovely that they prepared a rice and curry for me!!! And what can I say: it was amazing!!! This was such a beautiful experience! Coming here starving, craving for rice and curry and got these beautiful people and amazing vegetable rice and curry! Definitely will come back!

Excellent place! Very tasty, very fast, very hospitable))) we loved this cafe so much that returned again and again. On the sunset we chose table on the sand near the sea, on the afternoon we were inside to hide from the sun. Money exchange is not a problem - this is a plus!

Best Mango Juice in Weligama! Also the vegetable Kottu was very tasty and arrived soon! And the best thing about it - they have a puppy!

The food was average but we got it fast and the portion was big.

The place is in a good location, near the beach. The service time was okay, the staff were friendly and kind. We ordered two juices and a pizza. The juices were just ok but the pizza was not good. Maybe the other dishes are better but we don’t know!

Great place with friendly staff! We had cold juices and drinks every day while taking a break from our surfing lessons. We also tried the prawn kottu and the mixed salad which were delicious! And we never waited too long to get our orders. Definitely recommend it!

The location is great but worse ChopSuey I’ve ever had. One would imagine that being a beach club next to a fish market their fish would be fresh.. I got dried shrimps and dry chunks of fish instead, got a stomachache just after a few bites. Slow and uncaring service.
