Newly opened food truck serving vegan ice cream in coconut shells covered with banana leafs. The ice cream comes in differents flavours (changing on a daily basis). I had pineapple/passion fruit. The ice cream comes with fresh fruit, caramelised lentils (first time I had lentils in a sweet version, which was very good) and coconut flakes. The concept is based on animal free and sustainable/reusable products (2 thumbs up!) RS 700 is not cheap for ice cream, but for me it was worth every rupee and I love to support full vegan initiatives.

100% vegan, independent, local family run enterprise that opened in 2019. They have one truck permanently parked in Weligama and another at Arugam Bay. They have a big selection of "Nicecreams" - blended frozen fruit that becomes creamy and delicious. They are topped with more fresh fruit, caramelised lentils and coconut flakes, and served in a coconut. Really delicious. Our fav so far is the Island Breeze

For almost 5$ I expect much more but it was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it :( looks really nice but tastes absolutely horrible :( crying after my money could have bought something better :(

Pure vegan place, gluten and sure free. Tried the chocolate dream nicecream, was amazing! Made of banana, mango, dates and cacao. Sweet and creamy, better than milk icecream. Served on a banana leaf and topped with pineapple, coconut and caramelised lentils. Super good, highly recommended.

I have been here a few times now and I always feel like it's a good idea, but to be honest everything just has no taste. It's bland and not worth the money for. Sucks because you almost want to like it because its super trendy looking and a great idea, but its just not good.

It's great to have a organic, vegan and sugar-free ice cream option with generous portions. However, the prices were quite high. It was super tasty and nutritious.

Definitely the go-to place if you’re looking for generous portions and aesthetic instagram shots! Nicecream is served in a coconut and can be eaten right on the beach. We’ve had both the Island Breeze and the Cocoa bowl and loved both! Best smoothie bowl we’ve had in Sri Lanka!
