This is the best place to eat in Weligama! The food is diverse and delicious, the prices are reasonable. You don’t have to wait too long for your food, which is unusual in Sri Lanka. It’s a small family business and they are super nice. We eat everyday here, actually twice a day!

Three weeks in weligama I ate in every resturant in town,this one is the best one,the food it’s the best, and the prices !!

We have been in Sri Lanka for 3 months (mainly weligama) and Daylong is by far the best place we have ever been. We came here multiple times a week for the rice and curry. Kanil and his family provide the best service and food. We are sad to leave this place and wish we could bring Daylong with us wherever we go!

Were at this restaurant like 5 times, the breakfast hoppers are so good, best dahl in town! Also very cheap for meal, juice and coffee! Rice and curry also incredible, one of thr bests and massive portions!

Very good veggie rice & curry! The staff is very nice, the prices are good and the portion (rice & curry) is very large! The distance to the weligama beach is very short - well suited for a short lunch or dinner :):)

I know it's a very popular place here, but I can give only 3/5. It's too hard for me being european and stand this SriLankan way of cooking. Sorry. And also pricing policy I don't understand. Better to charge more, but put more prawns in a curry, isn't it? I'm a Karen today 🤣

The best place in Weligama. Curry and rice is really tasty. Big portions and the food is always warm. I’ve tried food in many restaurants but this one is really different. They have good breakfast choices and tasty fresh.

The food was okay. It wasn’t bad but the curry would need a bit more taste. For me there are better places to get food.

Basic setting, fresh juices, excellent food, lovely crew. We’ve spent several days in town and ate here on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times. Way more affordable then neighboring restaurants, great portions and flavors. Curries, kottus, pancakes…you name it.

One of the best experiences in Sri Lanka, I can really recommend the Rice and Curry in Day Long! The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is very kind and friendly.
