This hostel was great! The location is 5 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from a bunch of great restaurants/shopping. The manager was super helpful and gave us a lot of great recommendations, the food is pretty cheap and really good.

This hostel has only been open a year or so and it's been kept in superb condition. Everything is very clean, spacious and well-kept. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The 8 bed dorm I was staying in had an ensuite bathroom with a very powerful shower. I stayed in a fan only room as it was cheaper. Each bed has a power socket next to the pillow and a small light to read in the evening. Plus, you are allocated a huge locker and given a towel upon arrival. Breakfast wasn't included but they have a range of breakfast options available between 7.30-10am. They have a huge rooftop which looks out onto the ocean, perfect for some yoga (they provide a few mats for you if you don't travel with your own) or to read a book. Yakoob, the owner is super lovely and always on hand if you need anything. He can help to arrange tours and transport if you need. I only planned to stay a few days and I extended for two weeks! It's away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Awesome little place with nice rooms and good food. Across the street is a literal surfers paradise, surfing school and one of the coolest atmospheres you'll find.

Clean, new, comfortable hostel! Rooms and lockers are big, its close from the beach and local shops and the staff is super nice and helpful. Great place to stay to relax and surf while in weligama

I was only supposed to stay in this hostel for a night, but ended up extending the stay for 5 nights. The hostel is really close to the beach (5 min walk) and a nice 15 min walk to the city centre. You even have a great beach view! I loved staying here, the staff was really nice, the rooms clean and comfortable (cleaned daily!), there’s an option of even doing laundry and hanging your clothes outside! I loved staying in the rooftop - common area, chilling and meeting new people, and there’s a fridge if you want to store your food or drinks in it. I also ate in the restaurant there and the food was really good and reasonably priced! I would recommend staying there for sure! Oh and the best part - the breakfast is included in the price (great, yummy food everyday) and it’s different everyday! 10/10 from me!
