An average hotel with overpriced rooms. Misleading pictures on booking sites and staff very noisy in the morning (woke us up every day. Good location. Pictures show actuall view from balcony.

A small cozy place with delicious food.

Absolutely fantastic homestay & café. The hosts Diana & Lahiru are great people and always going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I stayed at the Native for 2 weeks and would definitely consider coming back here. If you are in Weligama, hands down best place to stay. Clean rooms with fans & AC, great & friendly staff and delicious food - with vegan options! Big ❤️

Kombucha is good. WiFi is terrible, even for Sri Lanka standard.

Wonderful, flexible & generous service, high quality breakfast & lunch based on clean fruits & vegetables. Shared 2 dishes w my husband : The Native veggie bowl w a fab sesame tasty salad sauce, buckwheat and fresh veggies w scrambled eggs on the side, and w Fresh avocado on rye bread w tomatoes , onion & chives, plus Choco frappe to drink. Perfect amount of food, high quality and beautiful presentation. The owners are superfriendly and service minded. Chill area in the mini garden, Strongly recommend. Want to come back! The rooms are very clean w AC, smell good , nice location away from busiest streets. Thank you!

Awesome place to have an awesome breakfast. Coffee with coconut milk shot is a must have. Rooms are comfy with a large balcony. No mosquitos in the room!!! Working AC and hot water

The Native is perfect. Great location near the beach but tucked away so traffic nose is limited. The rooms are spacious and clean with good A/C and hot water. The cafe downstairs is perfect for breakfast or a snack. The owners are amazing, cheerful and incredibly helpful. We booked for two nights not extended for another three. The vibe is mellow and pleasant. We were also able to rent a motorbike for the day from the owner. Couldn't have enjoyed it more.

We visited Weligama on a girls trip, The Native was very hospitable, hosting us in a 3 bed room. The room was clean with a/c and a fan, fresh towels and a stylish space. Thanks so much for our wonderful stay, we’ll be back!
