The hostel is new, clean and you feel like home. There is air condition and the beds are really comfortable. Nice people around and good atmosphere. Staff are super chill and helpful. They are just chilling around and ready for a talk. If you want a local experience go here! Street food and fruit just at the end of the small road. Can only recommend this hostel - you won’t regret.

One of the absolute worst places to be staying in. The hosts do not care about the visitors at all. All they do is roam around aimlessly, smoking or on the phone. We booked the place along with dinner for the night and breakfast for the next day morning but we received neither. Further, part of our group had to stay outside for hours as the room was not ready even though they said that it was. It's such a shame as the location is absolutely good, and they ruined our vacation experience with poor service.

Worst experience so far. The host did not pay attention to the local customers. The booked room was not available at the time of arrival. Had to wait for 3 hours to get the room arranged. Stayed there for one night. Promised to provide the morning breakfast next day morning but they did not even consider providing it till we asked them for it. Had to take the breakfast elsewhere. The hosts seems unattentive to the local customers.

Stayed here for three nights in a private room. The place is brand new and looks great! Also the hosts were really kind and welcoming. Its right next to the beach where you can surf. The bed was really comfy and breakfast was simple but nice. Also you can make use of the (very well equipped) kitchen. Would definitely come again!

Stayed for couple of nights and enjoyed throughout ! Clean tidy place with nice pocket friendly air conditioned private rooms & well equipped kitchen with fridge etc to keep our things. The host Nuwan is very friendly and attentive to all requests made. We even got to check our past 7.00 PM on our last day. He showed us the hostel rooms which looked very comfy & air conditioned too with all basic equipments(defiantly our choice next time as it’s even cheaper). The best thing about the place is it’s just a minute walk to the beach and out of the wayyyy over crowded weligama main point, Yet surf friendly for beginners with a surf spot right in front. Definitely gonna visit them again!

We stayed 3 days in the Unbound Hostel in Weligama. The hostel is located 50 meter from a quiet beach, with the busy parts of the beach and the best surf spots only a 10min walk away. The hostel is clean and the rooms are nice. The staff is amazing and always willing to help! Would definitely recommend to stay in the Unbound Hostel if you visit Weligama

lovely cozy hostel, in the heart of weligama! everything you could want to see is only a 1 min walk away ;) It is the Beach duh! ;) Everything is kept very clean and it is very relaxing as it is not a party hostel. The Host who run the business is very helpful and great to chat with! They got some amazing deals, you just got to chat! we did Yoga for the first time, and adventure just began to master Surfing! Definitely going to be back!

beautiful location near weligama and mirissa. on the corner of the street you have a fruit shop and 1 street further you can eat pizza at the locals. sam is always super helpful and that suits him. I normally intended to stay only 1 day but that quickly became 7 :). Despite all the hard work Sam does, he often lacks help. this then reflects in a dirty toilet and kitchen. a shame because you can really make something great out of this place. I think if 2 more people would work here everything would be better. sam is always on hand and the rooms are super nice with lockers. and have air conditioning and clean sheets.

A hostel with a good vibe & generous host. Nuwan & Malik made a point that we felt at ease during our stay . The rooms were very comfy , neat & clean . There is a good surf beach just 15m away from the hostel. The beach is very peaceful and will suit people who would need to take a break from the hectic crowds of Mirisa or weligama .
