Amazing lake views, great service and fantastic fantastic food

Stayed at Sea Heart House in February 2019 for six days and it was magical. The house is perched up on a hill overlooking the lake and is blissfully quiet (unlike places closer to the sea). There are wild peacocks in the fields surrounding the house and kingfishers in the trees around the house. The house has full time staff who look after you very well, we had a mixture of Asian fusion meals, all beautifully put together. The whole experience was very serene.

This was the perfect place to stay. The location was ideal and home wonderfully relaxing. The chef was a great guy, cooking fantastic, healthy Sri Lankan and European food to order. The pool, gym and yoga pavilion were perfect to get moving and it was 15 minutes tuk tuk from one of the most beautiful and empty beaches on the south coast. I would highly recommend it for family groups and friends looking for lovely and very well run place to stay at a very competitive price for a luxury place.

Fantastic surroundings....

We spent an extended 6-months at Seaheart House and had a lovely time with the friendy local staff, the sweet old dogs, the beautiful well-maintained garden, the lovely neighbours, and of course the fantastic views. It's a very peaceful place, ideal for grounding and spending peaceful time out of everything, and at the same time, very close from what's available down south (beach, fancy restaurants, groceries, etc. is 10-15min away). We had to leave sadly, and moved closer to our son's school, but we're thinking of maybe hiring it again for a weekend sometimes ;) I really miss the lake view with its surrounding calming nature, and of course the Seaheart Vine! <3
