Mmm the rice and curry is amazing! It's a family business and they are very kind.

Truely a lovely place. We saw this restaurant on Google Maps and didn‘t expect much, but we left this place so happy that we actually came back twice! This nice and gentle little family is truely giving their best to please the customer. The food is cooked by the mother in her own kitchen and eating in Sri Lanka really can‘t get more authentic than this. And everything we had was really delicious.

Lovely little family run restaurant in quite street. We had breakfast which was dal, coconut roti and coconut sambal. Very large portions and a great way to start the day.

It's a great place! The food was delicious, typical, and tasty. Owner and service were super sweet and attentive. It's definitely a place to eat traditional food.

Amazing authentic home-cooked Sri Lankan food at this family owned (the family lives right next door) and you dine in their garden. Do not come here expecting a luxury experience (yes it's 5 stars) but come if you would love to experience warm hospitality in a laid-back environment. It's clean and simple. I loved watching the locals riding past on their bicycles or walking home from school, this place is located in one of the back alleys and not along the main road. We were staying at eraeliya villas and got here by scooter (short 2 mins ride). The family is very smiley and friendly, son runs the restaurant, mum cooks, dad used to be a chef at one of the restaurants/hotels, daughter helps in kitchen too. We loved the curry set (price ranges from 1000-1700 lkr) where you choose a curry (fish, chicken, prawn, cuttlefish) and it comes with 3 other sides (that day they gave us pineapple brinjal, pumpkin, lady's fingers), rice and pappadum it was super flavorful. I'm not usually a fan of curry but I finished everything! Also had the egg noodles 1100 lkr (the portion is super huge. It's like 4 times the size of what I would usually eat) We tried to ask them for recommendations whether the prawn and cuttlefish curry was better but we had a bit of difficulty conveying that so best to confirm your order with them before they head off to the kitchen Also they accept USD payment, the son initially said no due to the communication barrier but later on the dad told us that USD is fine and they will give change in LKR Definitely one of our more memorable experiences in weligama !

Lovely family business with local food (tell them if you want it spicy!). Prices are ok (not expensive but also not super cheap). The food was really delicious and portions are great too. They also have rooms.

Great authentic local food, which as I found out, is made with mainly fresh and homegrown vegetables and ingredients! And a very welcoming and lovely family, that gladly teaches you some words in Singhalese! Can only recommend to check it out! 🙏😇
